Great friendly record store that had the best process for record store day. They came out took everyone's lists and had it bagged for you ready for ya so no fighting or things being grabbed by someone behind you. This will now be my regular record store!

Absolutely incredible selection, the amount of records, cds, and other music is stunning. Like literally, there's rows and rows and rows of music. Very, very diverse collection as well. Staff is super helpful and friendly as well. Definitely, positively, 100% recommend.

The selection is unmatched! Literally every new and used record you'd ever want! And the staff is extremely helpful. Their prices seem pretty good too!

Every time I visit the Attic I lose track of time and spend too much money! lol Wow, this record store is great. The owner and employees are super friendly and they know most of the customers by name. I heard a customer ask how long they had been there and the employee said 40 years! When you first go in the shop they have new releases, special record store releases, and bins of random used records for cheap. Just going through all of those sections took a while since it was so busy, but it's fun to browse! I found a Fleet Foxes record for $10 and the new Evanescence record (barely used) for $15! I remember the first time I went in, I asked where to find Alanis Morissette and Red Hot Chili Peppers, and they showed me the sections to look. Now I know where to browse for rock music. I haven't even ventured to the other side of the store that has jazz records, CDs, and honestly who knows what else. It is like a library of records. I have had great experiences every time I stop in. Try to go on a weekday, because people pack in there on a Saturday.

This place has such an unbelievable selection of EVERYTHING. My wife and I just visited the Attic for the first time earlier this week and left with 16 records a, some shirts, and a few hoodies. The staff was absolutely top notch and so helpful. Make sure you have several hours (or days) of time to spend when you visit. The selection is absolutely insane. Best record shop i have ever been to, hands down!

Such a terrific collection of games, books, tapes, CD's,…read morefigurines, posters, comics, vinyl, collectibles, etc. you would be hard pressed not to find something that doesn't make you go, "I remember this!" Each level has different elements. There's stairs, as well as an elevator to access all levels. Prices seem reasonable for the things that they offer. Everything is well kept and in protective sleeves, etc to preserve it from getting worn. Every employee was pleasant and friendly. Not sure about parking as we walked. But, it's super close to the Heinz History Center so could easily walk from there. Well worth a visit!!

There are multiple floors at Eide's and you can take the stairs but there is an elevator. Their floors are organized by the type of item they sell on that floor. For example, one floor is records, another is comics, toys, and action figures, so it's pretty simple to find the right direction if you're looking for something specific. The staff is also very kind and helpful. During my most recent trip I was browsing the first floor and found one of my favorite books from my childhood! It was only $5 and I couldn't pass it up. You just never know what you'll find here, but I can guarantee if you look hard enough you'll find some gems!

This is my favorite store on the planet. Not my favorite…read morecomics store, or my favorite bookstore - my favorite STORE. Best thing to do is go to www.copacetic.biz or even better head over to the store, nestled in a quiet corner of Squirrel Hill across from the police department. Bill (the owner) stocks an unbelievable range of comics, books, DVDs, music, and art in his tiny space. You won't find many contemporary superheros here, but what you will find is all the modern artsy comics you can handle, the Criterion collection of DVDs, weird discount European jazz label imports, Little Lulu, punk rock, Pauline Kael, the Dover collection of classic literature, local zines, a big comfy chair, and most importantly, the proprietor who will find out your tastes and guide you to the material that will best intrigue and interest you. He encourages browsing and reading, and there's usually classic or independent cinema playing on the small TV, or else classic jazz on the stereo. I checked the "$" price rating because nearly everything that Bill sells is discounted from the original price - including both the new stuff and the classics (on which many of which other stores have bagged and marked-up the price). This is extremely rare in comics retailing. Since moving to New York City, the two retail institutions I've missed the most from Pittsburgh are (1) REI, and (2) Copacetic. Go there now!

One goal we have on our adventures is to audition speakers and new equipment for our home. We live in Miami and the audio stores that I have loved over the years are gone. Northern Audio was quite the surprise. I had no previous knowledge of this store or owner. After calling I was told Greg is who will give you demos. I have been an audiophile for many years. Greg exceeded our expectations. His vast knowledge, professionalism and passion was so appreciated. We spent a few hours with him. What a lovely, intelligent, humble human. Frankly, he blew my mind in all the good ways. There inventory is vast. We listened to Rosso Fiorentino, Totem, Klipschorns, and La Scala just to name a few. All under one roof!! We have not made a decision as to what to buy. We are going back in a few days to listen some more. This time we will also check out the store below called Music to My Ears to browse their extensive new and used vinyl and CD's. Thank you Greg, see you soon. Cyndi & Steve
