To cut a long story short, it could have been a complicated, expensive experience. Then a knight in shining armour , who goes by the name LIAM, came to our rescue. He was fantastic, so helpful, friendly and professional, he had us on our way in less than half an hour !!! Big shout out to you Liam, and from now on we will always come to you for our tyre needs. Then his carer said the steering wheel is not aligned, so called my local ATS for advice, they said bring it in we will look at it for free. They said the tracking hadnt been touched. Son took it back to Bathwick the bloke had the balls to stand there and say he had done. But they refunded and he took it to ATS. To get it done properly. So beware.. After they quoted me nearly £400 - with warranty, I decided to take my car in. They called me the next day to say IF i do not replace the flywheel and other bits costing around £1000 now in total then my Clutch warranty will not be valid. Where is £400 and where is £1000? thats more than double... wonder why? Misleading before sending the car in: They didn't tell me my warranty will be void if 'other parts if found faulty' was not replaced. Scaring me with scaremongering tactics, apparently my car is in a vulnerable position if i ONLY CHOOSE to fix the clutch and nothing else. Resulting in clutch failure and breakdowns, covering NO WARRANTY if I only choose to do the clutch. It can break the clutch instantly coming off the ramp. Thats what they guy impersonated over the phone. I then called Head Office: A very rude lady looked at my recordings and never considered what i was complaining about. Saying the same thing like a robot, not helping at all and raising her voice, constantly talking over mine. Her argument was - If the flywheel doesn't get changed then the warranty of the clutch is void. Me: My argument was clear: Why didn't Mr. Clutch tell me this from the start? Not in any phone call or when I was in there faculty did they mention that if there is another problem with the car then unfortunately, the warranty of the clutch will be void. At the end of all this they told me to take my car BACK and pay £240 for labour cost. They wont replace the clutch now. So I was forced into getting it towed to another local garage. That cost me another £150 Total loss: £390 - and still my car has a clutch problem, not solved yet but... NOW - YOU WONT BELIEVE THIS: Now the most surprising part of all of this: The new garage where my car is now being treated (not Mr Clutch garage) it is now in my local garage - Phoned me and told me there is absolutely NOTHING WRONG with the flywheel. And he will happily complete the clutch only and it will be running beautifully - So it looks like now Mr Clutch tried to take MORE money from by scaremongering with a faults that didn't exist in the first place. I am really upset with Mr Clutch and i demand my money back. I was a good customer that was treading in a very unfair manner. Shame on you Mr. Clutch - I am now seeking legal advise and definitely will be taking this further to Small C C. If anyone has any advise or have been treated the same way, please contact me so I can build more a case against them. Trading standards have been informed with UK watch dog. I have also sent photos of the flywheel with proof signed by the highly reputable garage backing this to be true.

COMPLETE RIP OFF AND SCAM! Don't use…read more Following a routine service, staff agreed to run a FREE engine diagnostic if a certain fault persisted. Post service, the fault light remained and I rang up and confirmed, that the issue could be checked again for free, as it was soon after the service. This was agreed and the car booked in. On collecting the car, I was charged again for diagnostic and labour. When I mentioned it was agreed that it would be looked at for free, this is quickly denied and dismissed. Hugely disappointing with terrible service. I will be telling everyone to avoid this garage.
