I have always found Oakeys to be fair in thier charges and have always been pleased with the work done. They also for a very small fee provide a loan car whilst they work on your own - a very good idea and much appreciated by those of us who just have to get to work depiste car trouble.

Low and behold, I did (this has never happened to me before unless it's been an MOT). Not only were they quick and efficient in their work, they have been so honest too. Part of the works was I had an oil leak. When they took the oil box off, they realised they didn't need the particular part they had for it. But what was needed was a breather pipe. (this made the costs slightly cheaper) They put a temporary one on so I could take my car home and until the actual part came into the garage. Two days later, the part was fitted and I drove away at approximately 08:40am and was still on time for work. I would have been none the wiser, so their honesty for me speaks volumes. Mick is a one man operation. He is an artist. He never more than two jobs going at any one time…read more That way when he is waiting for paint to dry on one he can be rubbing down on another. He has done five jobs for me and I have never been able to tell where the original paintwork stops and his work starts. He is meticulous to the nth degree. He is modest and unassuming but he knows his work is excellent and he takes pride in that. His pricing is reasonable. He doesn't let a job go out of the shop untill he is perfectly satisfied. He is a rare gem of a body man.

What a great team Mark and Ursula make! My son had a…read moreproblem with intermittent faults on his brake and indicator light on the rear of his 2011 Renault Clio. Despite a few attempts from the local garage the fault kept coming back (after we spent quite a lot of money...). A quick google and I found that C.A.R.S are relatively local to me so sent in a web enquiry on a Sunday afternoon. Ursula called me on the Monday morning and after an we had a chat she booked me in with Mark for the Friday morning (the only day I had off that week). I met Mark and he quickly discovered what the issue was and set to fix it. Mark explained about the fault and showed me where it was which will be very handy for the future. During his work Mark realised the (cheap) bulb the garage supplied was at fault so replaced that with a quality one, he also noticed a tracker device installed on the battery which we had no idea was there! From start to finish Ursula and Mark have been brilliant, the fees for the work are reasonable and I have already been recommending them to friends and family. If you any problems with your car electrics please go straight to the experts rather than a garage, you'll save yourself time and money! Thank you Mark and Ursula, I hope not to have to contact you again about my sons car, but I suspect another fault will no doubt appear!
