As first time home buyers, we were not sure how to decide about the condition of the house, beyond what we could 'see'. He was passionate and did a job as if he were buying the house. Having recently been scammed by another inspector on the same property, we knew what bad looked like. And John was on the exact opposite end of the spectrum. Trust him to give you an honest, expert and professional review of the house before you make a call. We actually decided not to buy the house as we learnt about the structural issues in the house - we would've been stuck with a lemon if not for John.

He crawled or climbed EVERY single inch of the home we are buying. The weather was awful, snow about 2 feet deep yet he walked the entire perimeter of the home and crawled under the deck. He stayed for about 3 hours and answered every single question we had. As far as knowledge goes, he not only knows what all the code requirments are, but knows why they are required, since when, and the history of each item by brand name in the home. His knowledge is UNRIVALED. Thanks Rob for aleviating one of the major issues a buyer faces when closing.

She was incredibly kind and helped me understand what to expect as I had never been through the process before. On the day of the inspection, Ed was great to work with. He spent hours going through the entire house so thoroughly, looking for any possible issue or cause for concern. He even showed us a couple things he found along the way that he thought we'd want to know about in the moment. Ed sent us an extremely detailed report in less than 24 hours. It included all the areas he inspected along with corresponding pictures of any issues. This was really helpful with deciding whether we needed to present the issues to the seller and move forward as-is or to walk away.
