AT's A Chicago Pizza absolutely nailed it with the Dimitri Godzilla. I got it deep dish with Italian sausage, pepperoni, and Canadian bacon, and it's a straight-up powerhouse. Every bite hits hard--perfectly seasoned sausage, crispy pepperoni, and thick, salty Canadian bacon all buried in gooey cheese and rich sauce. The crust is legit Chicago-style: buttery, sturdy, and not a soggy mess under all that meat and cheese. This thing doesn't just fill you up, it hooks you. One of those pies that has you thinking about the next visit before you've even finished the last slice. I'll definitely be back for another Dimitri Godzilla. The owner doesn't mind being very audible about making mistakes. I've gone to this place many times and had pleasant experiences, but this one was crazy. Ordered the garbage pizza. Just look at the photos and video. The pizza is inedible. I called them willing to drive back and get a replacement, but no - the owner can't accept that he may have made a mistake. He wasn't even the one who answered the phone. It was a lady, who was kind, but he was losing it in the background - offended that I'm complaining about a wet inedible pizza. Look at the box. The dough is wet. You can see the pooling water on the slices - not grease. Whether it matters or not, this place has lost my business. The arrogance I heard him spewing in the background while they claimed "the restaurant was busy" is crazy. Either he acts like that in front of his customers or it was a lie to get out of making us a replacement in decent time. Complaining that you're busy after messing up an order and putting me at the very end of your queue? Nah, I'll eat the cost and wait out this business failing if this is how you treat your customers. read more

We just ate there for the first time. I haven't had a great Chicago Roast Beef for at least 35 years. They nailed the flavor and all fixings from back home. Love this place and the friendly folks who run it. Our go-to is the thin crust pizza (our favorite pie in Walton Co). It's a terrific rendition of Chicago tavern style. Square cut and saucy, with a crust that's crisped up nicely on the edges, yet without the cracker-like consistency that spoils many "thin and crispy" offerings. Toppings are generous and always seem high quality... especially the cheese blend, which has a wonderful flavor. We've had about everything else on the menu too: deep dish, Italian beef, dogs, deserts -- all good. So you can't really go wrong. Enjoy! read more

I preface this with a reminder that this is a new business and they are still settling in. They are NOT selling by slice at lunch as their website shows. There are lunch specials that include a sandwich or hotdog with chips and a drink. The deep dish pizzas take a while to bake so they recommend you call in your order. We (hubby and I) ordered a deep dish to take home and split a gyro special for lunch. The pita was tender and fluffy and the hearty beef/lamb meat was delicious. It didn't have a lot of trim but the yogurt sauce was tangy and pulled the sandwich together nicely. The pizza tastes authentic and so much better than chain store. It's great to have this option in Freeport! We will definitely be back. read more

Some friends and I drove over from Panama City to check out this pizzeria. There were ten of us int total, 6 adults and 4 kids. Regarding the adults, two were from New York, Two were from Cleveland, and the remaining two were from Chicago. Although all were from different experiences with pizza, everybody agreed that we loved this place! The pizza was phenomenal!!! The two that were from Chicago, praised the absolute authenticity of everything we tried, and we tried a lot ... Several varieties of pizza, the Chicago hotdogs (all the way of course), the Italian beef and peppers, the cheese sticks, and of course, the cannoli. Everything was amazing!! We ordered to go June 6th. When we arrived the entire restaurant was full. Food was ready and we had a huge order! It did not disappoint. The pizza was amazing!!! Deep dish was perfect. I ordered a thin crust pepperoni. The sauce was bland, the pepperonis sparse ( I ordered double pepperoni) , and the crust was fluffy and bland, not crispy on the bottom like you want a thin crust . I did not enjoy it. Next time will stick to Pizza Hut. read more

My husband and I tried this place for the first time this weekend. We are still fairly new to the area as we've lived here a little less than a year and are still trying new things. We haven't tried all the pizza places here yet but of the ones we've tried, this one has the most flavorful pizza by far. We got a thin crust pepperoni as that is the go-to for my husband. Usually I don't get thin-crust as I prefer a softer pan pizza but they don't have personal size or small pizzas so we had to share. I would like to try a deep dish pizza next time. For me, the thin crust was too hard for me on the edges and I couldn't eat those. The rest of the pizza was very flavorful and would have been perfect if the crust had maybe been cooked a little less so it was a little softer and not so dark on the ends. Maybe I can request that next time if they take requests for that. It wasn't that big of a deal as the rest was perfect. It had the perfect amount of cheese and pepperoni. We also ordered the cheese sticks. Those were so good I wish we had ordered more! We will definitely be ordering those with every order. read more
