It's a mini shopping center that has a few little boutiques but mainly restaurants. The chain restaurants such as Yard house, PF Changs, Cheesecake Factory, and Dave and Busters. Then there's a few smaller restaurants. The main store that's the biggest out of the other boutique is REI. Besides that, it also house a movie theatre. From The looks of it, it looks pretty impressive. It's a cute walkway that with a mixture of Universal city walk and San Antonio River walk. Of course man made but a cute layout of the property. It's not that big and everything surrounds each other but it's worth a wander through. There's plenty of parking both to the side as well as plenty in the back lot. I think everything is pretty much out in the open as I didn't really see any covered parking spots. Location is amazing as it's pretty much near a lot of things. There's cute little spots throughout the desert that's worth checking out. I don't think it's someplace that you would hang out at for long. More for coming for a meal or the movies. You could walk around but there's nothing much from that.

We came here around 8:00 pm on a Saturday for dinner rather than shopping. The fountain/water features in front of The River was beautiful after dark and made for a pleasant stroll. This is not a big mall, but there were several good restaurants from which to choose. Parking was easy.

It always starts with let's just go and walk around and maybe find a place to eat. Famous last word…read moreas it starts with window shopping which then leads into walking into a store and treating yourself. Clearly never hurts anyone. This area is an outdoor space with a decent amount of the higher end stores. It's stretches out a few block radius but the Main Street, El Paseo is where majority of the storefronts are. But then you have the outdoor mall, not really a mall but a little shopping strip. Here is where most of the higher end shops are located. You have Gucci, Bottega Venetta, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany and Company, to name a few. Not to mention a fairly decent amount of restaurants to add to the mix. Quite a few steakhouse and seafood restaurants. Plenty of parking along the street as well as the parking structure behind which is covered. The property and layout of the district is beautiful. Of course the desert theme is active with all the cactus and succulents. A few water features and a good amount of seating with umbrella from the sun. Even if you window shop or just browse the streets, this area is quite beautiful and nicely done. A fairly decent amount of stores and loads of restaurants. It's worth checking out. It's where you'll find the higher retailers in the desert.

The Cheese shop next door is glorious for lunch. That spinach salad yum. Followed up with a sweet treat across the street at the Gelato shop. So yummy. Their strawberry cup is so freaking good. Of course the little boutiques are also awesome. Christy is one of my favorites also at Sage. Lol. Definitely recommend spending a day or two here.

Located on Highway 111, with a mountain backdrop, it offers many big box stores that help get the errands accomplished. Dear Hubby and I popped in this afternoon as we had specific things we were seeking, including a bathing suit for him, a USB cable for my phone charger, and a few other items. He scored a nice swimsuit on clearance for ten bucks at Marshall's! I found the USB cable with proper end for $7. I also picked up a couple of items I wasn't specifically looking for, but were good deals and will come in handy. It's really convenient to be able to check out TJ Maxx and Marshall's in the same plaza. There's lots of free parking. The architecture includes colorful tiles and distinctive domes, which are noticable even several blocks away. I didn't get a chance to take in the whole of the place, but did notice signs for Target, Aldi, and Best Buy. The next time we come to the desert, this will likely lure us again for essentials we forgot to bring from home.

I maybe wrong but I think this is their main mall out here in the desert. Like an official indoor…read moreshopping mall. It's nothing spectacular by all means. Something similar to the Northridge or even Burbank mall when I first walked in. There's plenty of parking and a covered structure which is a major plus out here in the desert. The summer heat and walking back to your car after it's been sitting out, no bueno. For the two main departments stores, Macys on one end and JC Penny's on the other end. Macys also has a home store which you don't see as often. The other bigger stores, Dicks and Barnes and Nobles. Then inside you have the usual stores, nothing fancy. There's your usual H&M which is decent size, Victoria Secrets, Hollister, American Eagle, Tilly's, Bath and Body Works, Express and a few other retail store you would expect inside a mall. Nothing fancy but the usual. Then there's some small business which seemed like they're family owned. The mall isn't that big, a good length from one end to the other. I walked in on Mother's Day's for the first time which they were hosting afternoon tea right in the middle of the plaza. It was cute and raffles were given with prizes offered from the retail insides. In my opinion, it's a mall. Nothing major or special about it. You would think that if it is the only main mall in town, it should be worth it. But I guess it'll do.

The first thing I saw was how FRESH and HEALTHY everything looked. The ingredients were vibrant and clearly prepared with care. After speaking with the owner, I learned this is a FAMILY OWNED business that recently opened, and I was one of their early customers. That made the experience even more meaningful. For my first visit, I tried the tuna wrap and it was AMAZING. The owner was PASSIONATE about the food and took the time to explain the menu and the value is great. You can tell there is real pride behind what they serve. They also offer WRAPS, FRESH SALADS, AND BURGERS, so there are plenty of options depending on what you want. The atmosphere was FRIENDLY, WELCOMING, AND FAMILY ORIENTED. If I am back at the mall, I will definitely come again. IF YOU ARE AT THE SHOPS AT PALM DESERT, GO UPSTAIRS AND CHECK OUT IT'S A WRAP. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.
