Decided to have a wander today, Friday afternoon. First off, it wasn't what I expected. There's not much there. Unless I'm missing something but the area was quite small. There's like a main strip where all the shopping and dining are located. Literally a block with everything around it. I probably have missed more but it seemed like that this was it. There's parking along the street as well as parking lots around it. You have shopping but nothing massive with chain stores. More shop small stores and boutiques. There's like one or two little cafes and a couple of restaurants. It could be the summer season that makes it pretty slow and quiet. But for a Friday you would have thought there would have been people out and about. Also the heat does make it unbearable and uncomfortable to be outside. We saw maybe a handful of people walking around. Also it seemed like the whole shopping area was closed as there was no one out and about. But they were open. Restaurant didn't seemed opened either as I think some only open for dinner. One did look open for lunch but it was emptied. I hope that it does pick up during the weekend as people are in town visiting. It wasn't much as i was expecting so much more. One or two shops that I walked in was quite nice. A bit pricey but a lot of beautiful items. I hope that's it's only quiet as it the summer months where there's less guest visiting. Hopefully it isn't alway like this and is so much more. I'll have to check it out again when the season is cooler.

This area is an outdoor space with a decent amount of the higher end stores. It's stretches out a few block radius but the Main Street, El Paseo is where majority of the storefronts are. But then you have the outdoor mall, not really a mall but a little shopping strip. Here is where most of the higher end shops are located. You have Gucci, Bottega Venetta, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany and Company, to name a few. Not to mention a fairly decent amount of restaurants to add to the mix. Quite a few steakhouse and seafood restaurants. Plenty of parking along the street as well as the parking structure behind which is covered. The property and layout of the district is beautiful. Of course the desert theme is active with all the cactus and succulents. A few water features and a good amount of seating with umbrella from the sun. Even if you window shop or just browse the streets, this area is quite beautiful and nicely done. A fairly decent amount of stores and loads of restaurants. It's worth checking out. It's where you'll find the higher retailers in the desert.

Of course the little boutiques are also awesome. Christy is one of my favorites also at Sage. Lol. Definitely recommend spending a day or two here.

Several restaurants including Eureka, Don Diego, Indian Kitchen, and more. Seversl real estate businesses, dry cleaners, nail salon, excercise studios, fabulous kitchen store, and more. It's a mini shopping center that has a few little boutiques but mainly restaurants. The chain restaurants such as Yard house, PF Changs, Cheesecake Factory, and Dave and Busters. Then there's a few smaller restaurants. The main store that's the biggest out of the other boutique is REI. Besides that, it also house a movie theatre. From The looks of it, it looks pretty impressive. It's a cute walkway that with a mixture of Universal city walk and San Antonio River walk. Of course man made but a cute layout of the property. It's not that big and everything surrounds each other but it's worth a wander through. There's plenty of parking both to the side as well as plenty in the back lot. I think everything is pretty much out in the open as I didn't really see any covered parking spots. Location is amazing as it's pretty much near a lot of things. There's cute little spots throughout the desert that's worth checking out. I don't think it's someplace that you would hang out at for long. More for coming for a meal or the movies. You could walk around but there's nothing much from that.

This place would be your typical covered indoor mall. Theres not much to it besides the main stores with Macys, Dicks and JC Pennys as they're major department stores. They have some of the other basics you would get inside any mall. HM, Finish Line, Hollister, Lids, Vans, Bath and Body Works and so on. Your regular retail chain stores. It's a decent size mall that you could walk down the whole strip in no time. Not overly big. Lately whenever I pop in to windows shop, it's not that busy. But I guess now as school is starting soon it has picked up a lot. They do have some restaurants as well as smaller snack booth. It's sucks that this is the only mall in the desert. You would think that they would make it way better to cater to everyone. But I guess it's going well so far. Not a lot of stores that I've been to as they're new to me. Plenty of parking with outdoor as well as a covered parking structure in the back.

IT'S A WRAP is a NEW spot upstairs inside The Shops at Palm Desert that you do not want to miss…read more I was visiting the mall for the first time and almost walked past it since it is located upstairs in the food court, but once I noticed it, it immediately stood out from everything else around it. The first thing I saw was how FRESH and HEALTHY everything looked. The ingredients were vibrant and clearly prepared with care. After speaking with the owner, I learned this is a FAMILY OWNED business that recently opened, and I was one of their early customers. That made the experience even more meaningful. For my first visit, I tried the tuna wrap and it was AMAZING. The owner was PASSIONATE about the food and took the time to explain the menu and the value is great. You can tell there is real pride behind what they serve. They also offer WRAPS, FRESH SALADS, AND BURGERS, so there are plenty of options depending on what you want. The atmosphere was FRIENDLY, WELCOMING, AND FAMILY ORIENTED. If I am back at the mall, I will definitely come again. IF YOU ARE AT THE SHOPS AT PALM DESERT, GO UPSTAIRS AND CHECK OUT IT'S A WRAP. Easily able to hold a hundred or more people, this space is behind a large number of shops, including Koffi. If you walk out the back of Koffi you will find yourself in this area. I've been coming to Palm Springs for over twenty years. And despite having spent money at the various shops and restaurants in the area I never knew this little oasis existed. Shaded, with plenty of seating, it is a perfect little spot to chill out with friends. I will definitely be using this space in future trips to the desert.

I knew I'd love this store but it was even more impressive once I finally made it in today. First off, they have their own parking lot (mega score). Parking lot is a little tight but we are happy happy about this perk! Secondly, the store is massive! So much bigger inside then I could have ever imagined. I think as this place gets more foot traffic and exposure they'll be able to really fill the space out. Right now even though they have a great selection of items - it does feel spread out and open (not a bad thing) but definitely leaves more room for them to grow and for more local artisans to bring their goodies in. I love how every table is curated and specific. Made shopping so much easier. Some tables were more stocked then others, but again, they will just grow more and more with time. I found some booths/tables I loved and had just wished for even more product because so many amazing artists to be found here. Other bonuses are that the staff here are super nice. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and personable. Helpful but they also let you browse. Great customer service. Pricing was also varied but reasonable. They have something for everyone. Some items are as cheap as stickers, pens, pins and notepads for $2-6 bucks but then also shirts for $20, records that ranged $10-40, candles $20-40 and I bought a stellar art piece for $70. The prices really really just vary on the booth and what you're looking for. I love this collective and I really can't wait to see them continue to grow. I hope more people will find their way here but I'm definitely a big fan now and will be back.
