I can never resist the siren song of a steamed pork bun. The cocktail list was short but sweet with some real tempters on it, but there didn't really seem to be any career bartenders behind the bar, so what was on the list was what you got. They handled my request for one of the cocktails to be made with gin and not vodka hesitantly, but thankfully the customer continued to be always right. The fit-out of the National is maybe my favourite thing about the place, and I suppose it wasn't surprising to hear that the friend who recommended the place is an architect by trade. The beer garden is stunning on a warm summer evening, and after a few hours out there we retired to the interior, full of woods and metals and plenty of cosy booths for groups.

The food was not as packed with flavour as I would have liked - the spices they used were a bit too overpowering not in the "this is so deliciously spicy!" sense, but in the "I can't really taste any other flavour". In my opinion, there is a fine balance when it comes to spicing up a dish without sacrificing the taste. --- Come here if you're on a bit of a budget. Although the food is not the best, for an average of 10 dollars maximum per meal (you will struggle to find something more expensive) and decently filling portions, I can't really complain. If you don't mind spending a bit extra, I suggest skipping over Petaling Street - the quality is just not really worth your time.

In fact, I happened to encourage others to get up and dance. The drinks are cheap considering the location and if you are lucky enough to nab a seat in the front window you'll never want to leave!

Best coffee here, without a doubt. Came back for lunch and ordered the 'shroom (without death cap), absolutely delicious, each mushroom variety cooked to perfection, and an enormous portion too. My mate ordered the New Yorker. Same. And reasonably priced. I highly recommend this place. We love the ambiance, feels like home away from home. Great vibe, great service, great experience!

The owner is disrespectful to anyone who isn't in her league (Greek) or her regular locals. It puts shame on all the other Greek people that I know and love for the past 45 years in Australia. Maybe she thought that I was a new Australian ? Despite the fact you are in a face to face environment! I happen to have many Greek friends, plus family friends. I love the Greek culture , my neighbours are Greek, I have many Greek friends and we are so very close. I went in on Wednesday, around 12.30 pm, to buy a muffin for my old Greek neighbour and I was utterly disappointed with Irene's attitude towards me. She was annoyed that I approached the counter and ask for a Muffin, she mumbled that she had to close and that her dog was diagnosed with cancer. I told her to go, to get her staff to process the payment for me. She said no. She continued to process the payment herself. When I asked for a chai she said no that the machine was turned off. She was abrupt and annoyed. Then I asked her a question, " how would I know that you have an issue , I've just walked in from outside and the door was open , there's no sign on the door " My voice was raise as I was really upset with her. She didn't answer and looked at the door. She then told me you are yelling please leave. I turn around to leave, I then pointed a finger and said I'm leaving, I will never come back here again ! I went home and told my Greek neighbours, his granddaughter and my two Greek friends in the street. They were shocked to hear about my experience with Lumberjack Richmond.
