Our wait was between one hour and 90 mins to see a doctor, which is better than wait times at an emergency room! The facility and waiting areas were nice and clean. You can enjoy coffee, tea, or bottled water while you wait. However, one thing that they should do to streamline the process is to give out the medical questionnaire forms as soon as you check in with the front desk. Instead, they put your name on a list, directed you to sit down, and after waiting for a while, they would call you back up to the front and give you all of the forms to fill out, which I thought was inefficient. Still, the overall experience was much more convenient than going to a big hospital. Also, they have locations throughout the area so you can go to a facility close to home. Also, they now have a website where you can check wait times at the various locations before you go.

I was mind blown that she didn't think to pay attention to my allergies and then had the nerve to be annoyed over her lack of concern. She proceeded to stick me for the iv and it was painfully obvious she was not skilled enough to do so. I was too sick to recall her name but she definitely shouldn't be in an ER with her lack of concern and disregard for patients allergies. I hope that management sees this review and adjusts the staff as necessary.

Atrium cared for my 97 year old mother as she neared end of life. The staff- nurses, CNA's, and physicians were very good with offering clinical information, answering questions, and working with the family to provide quality care to the patient. Direct patient care was very good- the nurses were attentive and responded rapidly to calls for assistance. When the end came the care team followed our requests for end-of-life care despite the natural urge to respond. Staff were very compassionate and respectful to the family who was there. Was everything perfect? No. But in the very complex world of health care, Atrium Pineville cared for my mother as I had hoped they would.

To further her case, she mentioned multiple times that she has placed an IUD in virgins before with no pain meds and they did fine.
