Just got my first ever tattoo at Atomic Frog and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. My tattoo was very simple, just five letters, but the team there made the whole process great from start to finish. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes with a great tattoo. As someone getting their first tattoo, I was definitely a little nervous at times, but everyone there did a great job making me feel comfortable and relaxed the entire time. If you're looking for a walk in tattoo around the Destin area and you're a little nervous about it, I highly recommend Atomic Frog. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and professional, which is exactly what you want for something like this. Huge shoutout to my artist Spencer. If you get the chance to work with him, do it. He's personable, easy to talk to, and most importantly a really talented artist who clearly knows what he's doing. Thank you again to everyone at Atomic Frog. After this experience, I honestly don't know if I'll ever go anywhere else for a tattoo. read more

VERY overpriced. We came here on vacation and wanted to get matching tattoos with our son's name and I also wanted to get 3 micro hearts on my finger. My bf's tattoo looks great, mine on the other hand is crap. The middle heart has no ink in the bottom, not sure how that even happens. My son's name tattoo looks rushed and barely there as well. For almost $450 you would think you would get exceptional work. I honestly was caught up in the moment of vacation because neither one of our 2" name tattoos should be anywhere near $450!!! We came to Atomic Frog because the reviews said the prices were "fair" & the atmosphere was great. Save your money and invest in a different tattoo shop. You would probably need to refinance your home to get a tattoo any bigger than the size of a soda can. read more

It was Friday the 13th so they were PACKED but genuinely loved it. They were very steady with flow of people it was so organized! Their space is a little small but they work so well with it! I didn't come for a tattoo (which they mainly have artists for) but I came to get my 3rd lobes re-pierced and my nostril! It took a while because they were busy but with how busy they were it was way quicker than I expected. I'm pretty sure they don't have a lot of piercing artists so it was really good. This is about 5 days of healing and the piercings are feeling and looking awesome with proper care. I totally recommend them for tattoos as well because my sister got some done. Awesome place I'll probably be coming back for more read more

Addie pierced me and my partner and did very well. I got my right side of my snakebite and my partner got her left side of her nose pierced. She did so well and walked me through every step of the process. I only have one other piercing so she could sense my fear but in the helpful way. My partner has 5 prior piercings including the right side of her nose but she still talked to her and measured and made sure everything lined up perfectly. She walked me through it verbally and took her time in making sure I liked it and it was placed right with the marker. I felt very comfortable and taken care of so thank you Addie for your really good care and easing of my nerves, and taking care of me and my partner very well :) read more

I was very unsure of myself as far as tattoos went and this crew was actually the only one that was helpful. Everyone in there was super chill and the whole atmosphere of the place just oozed fun. Tommy did mine and it looks awesome. He was even able to give me suggestions without sounding like a pushy car salesman which a lot of the artists around here do. The pricing was not only well with my budget but It was much lower than what I was quoted by three other parlors. Tommy even tweaked a few things for me mid session. Overall this place is great, and in all the small areas as well. Definitely recommend them and I will be going back to have my arms finished piece by piece. read more

Boobie... THANK YOU! My daughter has been talking about a helix piercing for over 4 years now. She is finally at an age where she can legally get with parental consent. We were fortunate enough to be visiting Florida and were able to swing by your shop. To say that you made my daughter day would be the understatement of the century. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your hospitality, professionalism, and overall amazingness was so appreciated. My daughters smile has not subsided since we left the shop. You are an artist And a phenomenal human. Thank you doesn't seem enough, but I will continue to share our experience and continue to sing your praises. read more

I initially went somewhere else to get my nose pierced. The owner was rude and dismissive. I did some online research and found Atomic Frog. I am so glad that I did. The staff members were very thorough with their initial paperwork which was reassuring. Riah, the head piercing specialist took care of my needs. He was compassionate and thorough. He was very concise about his work and took painstaking measures to perfect the placement of my piercing. I am very happy with the result. I recommend this establishment to anyone and everyone who wants something done right! read more

I looked around and asked around for a few months for someone to do some coverups for me. I'm 44 and the tattoos I have I got when I was 17. I rarely wear tank tops because I hate them so much. I don't think Corey (he did my tattoo today) realizes I walked out of there feeling like a weight was lifted off my shoulders. This tattoo he just started today for me is FLAWLESS. The entire staff was professional from start to finish. I was greeted immediately at door every time and this place is clean and spotless. Already left another deposit today to keep going . read more

This shop is awesome. I googled tattoo shops in Destin since I was going to be there on vacation. I saw a bunch of good reviews. I walked in on Thursday and was greeted right away. I told them what I was thinking and Zach came over and gave me a good price. Within 30 minutes he had made some stencils and drew other waves on my arm. I had him add to an existing tattoo and it came out awesome. This place is super clean and everyone was friendly. I will be stopping by and adding more next time I am in the area. read more

My husband took my son and I there today to get matching tattoos to honor my dad. We had a simple idea and Thomas was amazing! He worked to tweak each tiny detail I asked to be changed. My tattoo turned out PERFECT! This was my son's first tattoo and Thomas was so kind and patient with him. My husband then decided he wanted a lower sleeve...so Thomas created a beautiful masterpiece for my husband that incorporates so many special things! Thomas was great! The shop was clean and the staff was very friendly!! read more

I had an amazing tattoo done by Corey yesterday, 6/1/23. He was amazing with my idea and made it better than I could have imagined! Everything about this place is clean and sanitary. You feel like you are in a very nice, safe environment. The music playing was even great! Pricing was on point for what I got, and now I'm going to have to come back to Destin to get any future tattoos (from Ohio!)! Highly recommend in all areas!! I'm sure the other artists are great, but Corey was phenomenal!! read more

My wife and I went to this place based on the reviews and friendly atmosphere and location. This was our first experience getting a tattoo and this will be the place we recommend and will visit again in the future! Kyle took our pictures and made them a realty for each of us. He was super nice and easy on us newbies. Highly recommend this place! Great service and artist. If you are looking for a place to go in the Destin area, then look no further! Just awesome all the way around! read more

After reading reviews of all local places, we ended up here. We had the best experience here. Me & my husband got matching tattoos. It was $175 a piece for about an inch and 1/4 size. Ray was our artists and he did amazing work. It's a little pricey but you are definitely paying for experience. From the time we walked in, filled out paperwork, Ray drew the tattoos, and tattooing us both we only spent about 2 hours here! I definitely recommend Atomic Frog and Ray! read more

We walked in on a Saturday afternoon for my daughter's first tattoo. We were matched with Dobby, who, from the beginning was friendly and easy. He took my daughter's idea, applied his professional artistic skill, and made it into something beautiful and unique. He was patient and positive and made her experience special and memorable. Ciera at the front desk was welcoming and amazing as well. Highly recommend this shop and artist. Thanks, guys! read more

Absolutly fantastic! They were friendly, patient, and more than willing to work with us even though we were walk ins and they got very busy. We even watched them bend over backwards to make this unreasonable asshole happy. You won't find a better place in destin and thats on customer service alone! The tattoos we got are amazing quality and simce most of us were first timers they were really cool. Highly recommend it to anyone! read more

This shop definitely did not disappoint!! Cody did a great job with helping me narrow down and perfect what I was trying to get done. Definitely an amazing artist with clean line work. I have other tattoos, but this was my first shop experience and everyone was super chill and easy to talk to. Family oriented, and down to earth. I'll be coming back next time I come to Destin. If I could do more than 5 stars I would. read more

Went in there to get a septum piercing and Addie checked my anatomy first to see if it was capable of holding a septum piercing. She said she said there wasn't enough space for it and didn't feel comfortable doing it because she thought she would pierce my cartilage partially. She said this happened to her the first time she got her septum pierced and it was QUITE painful. Super nice of her to give me a heads up. read more

My son and I planned for weeks to get "In Memory Of" tattoos for my husband who passed away in October 2021. This vacation was partly his senior trip and Destin has not disappointed. These are first tattoos for both of us . Our artist, Zach, was top notch and made our experience very memorable! 10/10 definitely recommend!!! (My husband and I adopted our oldest grandson. We have always been maw and paw to him.) read more
