We had been repeat customers until this last experience. We came on with a whole family to participate just to be told we cannot do the room due to specific participation rules. With some customer service this wouldn't be such a big deal normally. The employee was laughing at our misfortune behind the desk, while my wife was extremely upset after looking forward to her mothers day present. They acted like we were lucky to get a refund which should the most basic. We had specifically called before to ask if we could bring our child and were told yes. We were connected to the owner of the business who lectured me for 15 minutes about how lucky I am again to even get a refund, how i could be scamming her by asking for them to correct their mistake and having zero customer service skills toward the situation. This was our first time doing an escape room. Did not really know what to expect. We did the serial killer escape room. It turned out to be so much fun! You definitely have to have your wits about you and be able to solve riddle, puzzles, and codes while the clock is ticking! You could always get clues if you're totally stumped cause there were a couple of times where we had gotten to a point where we didn't know what to do. I really love escape rooms and my brother and his wife wanted to try one so we picked Atomic Escape Rooms. We did the beginner event called Killer Collection. Our host was Dalton who hung around at the end and answered our many questions. He did a great job and was very nice. Our escape adventure had a maximum of 4 participants and we had 4 of us so it was perfect. We had fun with some help from the voice in the speaker so that made it less frustrating. I like the decor in the main lobby and along the hallways outside the rooms. Even the restroom indicator is in giant sized Scrabble pieces. Very creative. I also liked the wall that highlighted each Gamemaster and told us a bit about each of them which shows that Atomic cares about their staff. As another review mentioned, it was a bit noisy during the game but it didn't bother us at all as we added our own noise to the general ambiance of the place. Overall, we had a lot of fun and I recommend Atomic Escape Rooms when in the Tri Cities area. Now we want to return to try the other room options soon! read more

Pros Multiple options to choose from. Cons Bad communication. They said we could have six people on the phone and when we got there we were split up into different rooms without even explanation. When we questioned it they explained there was nothing they could do, they only allowed five in a room. There was numerous technical malfunctions with the equipment. Nothing was explained effectively. Would have been great if they had said, you'll see black until we change out your gear and will pause the game or give you extra time but nothing was communicated. The room was not sound proof and you could easily hear the players in the other room. For the price of the experience communication should be better and the equipment should have minimal malfunctions. Very disappointing. read more

This was for my wife's 40th birthday! The staff was awesome but there was 5 in our group and we did the dragon quest. The first half was very glitchy the staff kept apologizing for it and said there was nothing they could do. They blamed the height difference between the kids and the adults. At times 2 people couldn't move throughout a period of time so others could complete the task. Overall not worth what we paid when everyone couldn't participate. Need to have some kinks worked out. Maybe with 2-3 people it would have been fantastic, but not with 5 which is their maximum per room. Maybe should change their maximum until their equipment is capable of having all 5 people interact. read more

A very unprofessional business. The owners had arguments in front of other people, and by arguments I mean screaming matches. If your game set doesn't work the whole time you still have to pay for the whole experience even though you didn't get to play. I don't see this business expanding all that much in the future. A good idea for a business, but could be handled so much better from the owners. read more

We booked one of the VR escape rooms for our group of 4 and had a blast. That's almost an understatement. In fact, it was so much fun that upon walking out of the front door we turned to each other and said "Honestly, would you all be down to do another one?" We were all thinking the same thing and did a 180 and walked right back in to do another VR escape room. This is a one of a kind unique experience for a good price, and really friendly staff. We've been laughing and talking about the experience for hours after finishing. The camaraderie and memories that comes from this experience is awesome. I'd give it 10 stars if I could. read more

They only have one actual room. The others are the Virtual Reality. The goggles are very difficult to use. You cannot see very well and you keep running into the other players. read more
