Another fantastic meal here. Saw another patrons post on the sandwich and had to come in! The amazing, outstanding incredible service from Carrisa was awesome! We watched as she covered the entire room on a crowded Sunday afternoon, making it look seamless with her attentive service. Stopped in for a quick brew today and was shocked at the quality of brew they serve. I had a nice IPA which was very pleasant. No heavy after taste or kick back of strong hoppy flavors. The brew master should be commended on his craft beers his makes, cause I really enjoyed mine. The place also serves food which looked marvelous, but I didn't have time for any chow or appetizers today. Having a meal is on my check list to try on my next visit. If I was alone I would have sent them back and saved my money. Got myself a pizza it was better but service was very slow, waitress was nice but not sure if she was new or just having a off day. Was here on business, if I lived in the area I would not return. The cook who sent out the nachos should be ashamed to serve that and the server who placed it should have never let it leave the kitchen. For just $1 more, your side salad can become one of there very nice "special" salads, so I went after the Spinach Salad. Very, very nice bacon vinaigrette, and they use roma tomatoes rather than normal bland ones. Great salad! My sis had the caesar salad, and said the croutons tasted just awesome. Another cool thing. This place used to be an A&W and they use that root beer. Just a cool nod to history I thought. I have had several different sandwiches here and have really enjoyed them all. Good eats at a good price. I can't speak about their beer selection because I have just never tried any the times I have been here. Not at all a pretentious place...stopped in while on vacation and as soon as we entered - we knew the pizza would be awesome! The smell of the baking pizza was just delicious. We ordered 2 varieties - one topped with smoked brisket and caramelized onions, the other with pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms and olives. Both were top notch. Enjoyed the Amber and the crowd - mostly families and older folks (admittedly, we were there early). Definitely will go again next time we're in town. read more

Service was great. Atmosphere was great. Pizza looked ok but I did not have any. Beer looked good but I did not have any. This food review is purely focused on sandwiches. I tried both the pesto as well as the weekly special (ham, cheese and bacon). Both were trash. cheap bread. Simple construction. Iceberg lettuce. small portions. average to below average meat. The sandwiches are clearly formulaic for the kitchen but when delivered with a few lays chips they are totally underwhelming, especially considering the $12 price tag. Don't order a sandwich here. Between the good service and atmosphere, and poor food, this rating is tough to balance out. I'm not likely to return. read more

Love this place for lunch and dinner. Best pizza and potato soup in town. Music bingo night is awesome. They know who they are and stick to it. The atmosphere and names of the beer (the Orbital Haze gets requests for me to mule it to other towns) are fun and on point. The staff is cool. This is my favorite local joint in town. I have three wishes: 1. Stay open a bit later if I'm there 2. Add a Wednesday or Thursday night trivia night on top of Tuesday bingo 3. Put a turkey BLTA on the menu so I don't have to combine the BLT and the Critical Mass Meltdown. This place is awesome and always the joint I bring people from out of time. read more

An excellent place for travelers and tourists, the Atomic Ale Brewpub has decent food and a fun atmosphere. The central theme is atomic weapons, with brews and foods named with puns and references. They also have shirts and pint glasses available to buy with their clever names and beautiful logos, if you're into that sort of thing. Definitely a good souvenir from a visit to the area. However, the food is nothing special. I've had better of everything I've tried here, which isn't to say this isn't good. It is good, just nothing further. The home brewed beer may be an exception since they are a brewpub, but as an amateur beer drinker, I wouldn't know better. read more

I think the Atomic brews need work, I can't even call them mediocre. I had the Amber, a Hippie Red and a Scottish ale - all were not well made. I'm not sure why someone would go through all the trouble to brew these so-sbeers and serve them to paying customers. I ordered a pizza to go, a merriweather or something similiar. I guess it was better than frozen pizza but not by far. I make decent pizza so I know how much effort they put into their pie - not much. Next time I stay in town I'm going to eat and drink elsewhere, most likely The Apollo or Zips. read more

Had Ethos pizza on the brain last night. It turned out that they were closed, so we came here. Easy parking and we found a seat right away. Cool and friendly vibe. Liked the historic photos. Server was pleasant and patient with our indecision. Started with the giant pretzel which was neither giant nor shaped or colored like a pretzel. Tasted OK and the sauces were fine. Had the "famous" red potato soup which I thought was too salty and gratuitously rich. It would have made a good pasta sauce. Pale ale was OK, I wasn't really into it. Pizza was OK but the crust was almost perfectly round, which gave it a pre-made feel. Hope I'm wrong on that. No real kIds menu, unless you agree that a $12 cheese pizza qualifies. Didn't try any of the salads, but a few looked promising. If I lived close by, I could find a way to make this place work. Otherwise, I don't think I would make a special trip. read more

This is a pretty cool place. We had pretzels and pizzas. The pretzels were cleverly formed into fun shapes, but not particularly tasty. Pizza was good, not great. For me it was way to garlic-y. Went to this place with the wife the other day. Loved the atmosphere. The food was amazing and reasonable priced. I ordered a regular 12 inch pepperoni pizza and my wife ordered a chicken blue cheese pizza (can't remember the name) and a couple of potato soup. We each ordered a 20 oz beer and a sample flat. Everything was amazing. Our bill was only $51. Our waiter was amazing and really know how to connect with the customers, but the cook stood out the most. We witnessed the cook come out of the kitchen to deliver a remake pizza to the table next to us (not sure of the reason for the remake). He apologized and admitted up to the mistake. You can tell that he cared about the customer's experience. Would recommend this place to anyone. read more

Closing at 8PM is completely unacceptable. No serious establishment does this. If you're good, you can draw a crowd until 10:30. If you're not, you can't. And if you could but choose to knock off early because you're lazy, you're doomed to fail sooner or later.
