Despite this, she brushed off my concerns and pushed birth control anyway, offering no real explanation, alternatives, or discussion- it felt like it was prescribed simply because of my age. I also never received my lab results and had to call weeks later to find out I had a yeast infection. I was told I didn't need treatment if I "felt fine," yet no one had informed me what symptoms to look for. When I asked questions, I felt talked down to instead of helped. Overall, I felt dismissed, uninformed, and unheard. I would not return to Dr. Abaigeal Thompson or recommend her to anyone looking for a provider unless you want someone who shoves birth control down your throat. Never ended up taking the many prescriptions- thank goodness!

Walnut Hill, in an effort…read moreto "help" its patients, has implemented the ubiquitous obnoxious Phreesia App, but this version is over the top. Each day at least a week before the appointment, I get a more threatening text and email stating that I "MUST" check in online before I reach the office. Note to Walnut Hill, I WILL NOT use my home/work MY time to check in. I am hiring you, not the reverse. You always keep me waiting, and I will use that time to fill out any paperwork, which is never needed, because I am a long standing patient. Please modify this Phreesia rap before I change practices. No other practice demands that I MUST do anything. Over the top tone deaf to your patients.

Dr. Gupta was amazing throughout her pregnancy and her experience in these situation is clear. Best Dr. my wife ever had and this practice is highly recommended.

Info for their next patients:…read more Need to share this after I finally talked to the doctor (Gupta) and the nurse practitioner (Mahnaz) today a week after the miscarriage. 1) I signed up for the OB I chose (Gupta). But Gupta told me she wasn't involved in any data checking or appointment decision making until I went to ER. She said it was all on the nurse practitioner. - What?! Why?! She said it was strange I was scheduled at week 11. It's usually week 8. - Whose responsibility?! Who's bearing the consequences? I asked her how I know if there was ever a fetal pole or not, she said "ya we don't know." 2) the nurse practitioner, Mahnaz, just kept telling me even an earlier sonogram wouldn't make any change to the result. - what about the data for me to know what actually happened? And she just did what every OB would do. - without asking her OB? She told me she didn't know I tried to make an earlier appointment. It was all the front desk girl. - Seriously?! At the end, she just told me "I need to go to see my patient. You can talk to the office manager because you and I are not getting anywhere!" Next thing I knew, she slammed the door and left me in the room by myself. - What a jerk! It hurts like so many bad words. I'm surprised she does this for living. She should be fired. 3) If you want to get their attention, consider to share your experience here, they will call you right away. ---- Worst experience! No matter how much I told the NP, Mahnaz, after I signed up to Gupta about my advanced age and my last miscarriage which was within a year, the NP just gave me very broad info intake and 2 blood work in week 5. I had to be the one to request for blood work in week 6 when I saw my HCG wasn't doubling. No more blood work scheduled till the miscarriage. My first sonogram was scheduled at week 11. - Ridiculous! I called and requested a few times to have an earlier sonogram. I was told the Dr said it's not necessary!!! I feel very dismissed from this place on me or whatever risk I am going through. One star bc there's no zero star option. Just know that all the negative reviews here and on Google are not coincidence.

First and foremost she made me wait so she could get to the hospital when all my body wanted to do was push. It was difficult having to wait for her. The nurses were all scared she wouldn't arrive on time. Then after she came late, I ended up with an episiotomy; an outdated medical procedure that most doctors dont perform anymore due its outdated science behind it. I was furious. Getting an episiotomy done left me have fecal incontinence for 2 whole months. It left me quite literally scarred for life. When I went to her days after my delivery to ask her what and why she did that she gave me half ass answers trying cover up decision. It was my first pregnancy and I didnt even know what an episiotomy was until I researched it after my delivery. Frankly she has too much ego. And i also like the other reviews mentioned, had to wait for 30+ minutes, sometimes an hour to see her. She rarely saw me during appointments and if she was there she was always rushed with her answers. Shes truly a cold egotist lady that needs to have her license revoked.

Then, 1 month before, was told they had an emergency so I had to reschedule. Finally get to appt, and they want to charge me almost $200 up front when I'm a new patient and I have a health spending account they refused to confirm. My gut told me this was just the beginning of not honoring my HSA, so I walked out of this place. Now, I have to turn around and look for a new doctor. They wasted 6 months of my time when I could have had medical answers by now. I'm not disappointed, I'm angry! Steer clear of this place.
