The education is what you want make of it and the amount of energy you want to put in. The old "party school" designation, never applied to all the students, just those who were self designed to participate. They have so many honored nationally recognized programs, it would be nice for all students to take advantage . There are museums on campus and overall ,a pretty university space. Any season of the year, the landscaping is lush, even in a snowy year, the crispness is nice. But spring and fall are the colorful times.

I called ahead to the Veterans Center, and the gentleman I spoke with informed me that they do not offer tours. I found this ironic because the community college I currently attend, as well as several other universities I plan to apply to, have all had veterans centers that were significantly more helpful than CU's. UCLA, for instance, arranged a full campus tour led by a fellow veteran student. After the tour, I had a 30-minute question-and-answer session with the head of the UCLA Veterans Success Center. In contrast, CU's Veterans Center simply told me, "We don't do tours. You can go online and look at our checklist for more information." Based on this experience, I am unlikely to apply to CU. First impressions are everything, and I do not want to be part of an environment that lacks meaningful support for veterans. CU has a lot of room for improvement.

Fan of Front Range…read more I'm currently enrolled @ FRCC and I happen to love it. It's my first semester here and so far it's been going great! I was excited to start on my Holistic Health journey being that they are one of the only schools that offers this awesome field of study. I plan to further my schooling @ Metro in their Integrative Therapeutic Practices program (complementary & alternative medicine). The degree for Holistic Health feeds into that Metro program, so I'm pretty happy with what I have planned. I take online classes and go into the BBC campus for the book store, testing, & student life. Not a bad campus with fairly nice staff. I can't really complain. #Team4.0

The Nalanda Campus of the Naropa University in Boulder hosts many wonderful dance and art…read moreperformances. A clean and quiet building tucked into the corner of Arapaho and 63rd Ave, you don't really notice it until you are looking for it. A new building, with modern and up to date amenities, this facility is a nice place to take in a show. Hosting many dance performances as well as music and other artistic exhibitions, this place fills a multi-use need in a quiet yet effective way. I have been to this venue several times, for several Butoh dance performances as well as for an art opening of Chinese paintings. I find the usage as a dance venue works better than the art gallery use. The facility has many rooms that it uses for dance shows, but the Art gallery aspect is limited to the hallways. Even though the art is hung in hallway, it is well lit and does work fairly well. I'm just a bit old fashioned about what I like in an Art gallery, is why I rate this less than 5 star.
