I called over the phone and the guys were very knowledgeable about their inventory and when they happened to have one of the very best models i was researching, i had to come get it the next day. I was happy to pay less than market too. Happy all around! read more

Atlas Firearms - Guns & Ammo Near Me - Winston-Salem, North Carolina

I LOVE Atlas! I have purchased 2 or maybe 3 firearms from them & they have always been super accommodating & they get me what I need FAST if they don't have it in stock. Dean is the BEST! You can tell he loves his job. His enthusiasm is contagious. Douglas runs a helluva business & his employees are proof of it! I have always gotten a good deal there as well! I never feel like I'm over paying. I will always be an Atlas customer! read more

Had firearm shipped but staff was too busy to log it in or get it to me which I find inexcusable since I drove 30 miles to get it. 8 employees walking around but too busy to get my gun to me! Guess they could have jerked one off the shelf to sell me but too busy to log my gun in and transfer to me. They not only lost me as a return customer but lost the money I would have spent on ammo! If you are too busy to log in guns you should close your door! read more

Had every pistol you could possibly want with all accessories. I bought a glock 43x Mos. All the employees were a joy with all the information you could need. Highly recommended and I will be back In the near future... read more

Very good service. Plenty of guns to pick from. Looking for Colt Python. Bought a few guns and Ammunition there. Plenty of help that works there and they are on top of everything in the gun store. I rate the store a10. 9 read more

This place has it all. Great prices & service and an amazing selection for all your shooting needs. For me this was a 30 min drive but well worth the few minutes extra vs dealing with the mostly grade b Greensboro firearm dealers. If you need a firearm, please check Atlas first and you'll understand what I'm talking about. read more

My hubby and I are shopping for home defense and are still learning. We were assisted by Jamie, and he was so helpful, knowledgeable and patient. He made the process really fun and interesting. There was a fantastic selection to choose from and it really helped to be able to handle the products. This will be our go to for firearms and ammo from now on. read more

Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Great service and selection! We will always visit this place when we are in the area!

Everyone I interacted with at Atlas was amazing. They were friendly and professional. They assisted me and my Father with everything we were looking for. They have a large collection of firearms and accessories to choose from. I will continue to go there for my gun needs. read more

Atlas Firearms is one of the best if not the best firearm dealer in the Triad. They have the best selection and the most experienced sales people of any shop I know of. read more

Atlas Firearms' personnel are excellent in assisting customers. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and they give great advice. their store has an amazing selection. I went in looking for a 1911 and they had many great pistols to choose from. read more

I have purchased several guns here. The prices are fair, unlike some larger retailers. The reason I keep going back to Atlas, however, is the outstanding customer service offered by their knowledgeable staff. I always leave this gun shop feeling good about my purchases. read more

Nice folks. I would return. Good selection. No issues knowledgeable guys go see them

Awesome Customer Service with great knowledge! They'll take care of you and help whenever necessary in my humble opinion!!!

This place is great. All of the staff are quite friendly, very knowledgeable and always willing to help and go that extra mile. Whether or not you know a lot about firearms the owner and crew over at Atlas will bring you up to speed and make you feel comfortable. They have a great selection and if they don't have what you're looking for they can get it. Do yourself a favor and stop in, you'll see why they earn 5 STARS. read more

Not sure about this place. I drove there because I was told on the phone they stocked something I wanted, but when I got there they didn't have it. This is after a phone call confirmation. I won't mention the stink eye I got when I walked in from one of the "guys" and then the huff from this guy when I interrupted his TV show to ask about what I was told they stocked. If I ever go back, it'll just be to keep interrupting this guy's game show and not to buy anything. read more

Atlas recently opened and from the start has had a big selection of guns, ammo and accessories. They've started to offer some reloading supplies but the political environment being what it is, selection and quantity have been poor. However all through the Great Panic of 2012-2013, they have held the line on pricing and always had *something* on the shelf (as long as it wasn't .22 or 9mm). Friendly and helpful staff. They do carry too many crap guns for my taste, but I understand there's profit in selling junk like Taurus, XDs and Hi-Points. They do have lots of quality firearms as well. Generous allowance on trade-ins, and they're also helpful with special orders and other strange requests. I'm glad to see them in business and I hope they stick around! read more

This place is great. Loving coming here with my GF. We've been going there a lot recently and everyone there is just super friendly and knowledgeable. They go the extra mile to help you with whatever it is you need help with. The hrs. Wow. Open until 9pm during weekdays I'll drive here on Wednesday's right after work if I have to get Ammo (lol). From the moment you walk through the door the people who work there treat you like family and that's why I keep giving them my business. It's family owned and I still support that. Always have Always will. read more

This is my go-to firearms retailer. Exceptional customer service all around from the entire Atlas Crew. I have been purchasing, trading and collecting firearms for 24 years. If they don't have it they can get it. I have been buying from Atlas since they opened, I rarely frequent the gunshow anymore. I have been to all of the gun shops from Winston Salem to Fort Bragg and I keep coming home to Atlas firearms. If you want Honesty, Great selection and Exceptional prices. Atlas Firearms is in my opinion the only place to go! And no they aren't paying me. Lol read more

My son and I have made multiple purchases here. Cliff and Doug are great guys and know their inventory! Excellent customer service! You will not be disappointed! read more

Great place to purchase ammo, one of the few that I have shopped that that hasn't taken advantage of the ammo shortage by raising there prices. When things are back to normal honest people like this is where I will continue doing business. read more

I recently went to Atlas firearms for the first time. The customer service was excellent. Super friendly and helpful. Prices are good also. I've been to every gun store in Winston-Salem and surrounding area and this store is the best hands down. I went to buy a handgun and ended up buying 2. You can't go wrong shopping here. read more

I'm not sure why the two guys were claiming they got bad service. I have been doing business with Atlas since before they moved from the smaller store. I have always been treated with respect and everybody has been very friendly including Jay who was mentioned by name. Most of them actually bothered to learn my name and great me each time I come in by name. I sometimes go many months without dropping in due to health issues but they alway great me by name. I have had them order stuff for me and sell guns for me and it's always with professionalism. Best shop I have ever dealt with! read more

I have been going to Atlas for about a year, in that time the staff and management have out performed my expectations by all means. I created this account to write a review for Atlas, I don't buy my guns from anywhere else. read more

I have no idea why other people think this place is great. None whatsoever. I went in to inquire about purchasing a gun, and the man behind the counter (Jay) looked at me like he was questioning my choice of pistols. I don't know him so I try to give him the benefit of the doubt. I told him the pistol I was looking for and that I wanted in .45 ACP. He proceeds to the computer to look up if the gun is available and finds three different models for that gun and then gets huffy about do I know which one I want. The one he points to is 10mm, at which point I go back to the fact I want .45 ACP. My other choices were SAO or DA/SA in .45 ACP and old boy starts trying to explain the difference to me. I am not an expert in firearms by any means, but I stopped him because I knew the difference and at that point I went from poor customer service to no customer service. Any question I asked he just kind of shrugged his shoulders and said "maybe". I then asked about selling a gun, and it was at this point I really started to get pissed because when I asked him about it he said they "might" be interested if I ever decided to come back and wanted to bring it in with me. I am glad he phrased it that way because I definitely won't ever be going back. I politely shook his hand and thanked him for his time, but in my honest opinion this place is a joke. I have been a Marine for almost 20 years and have been treated more hospitably at anti-Trump rally. I have no idea what the problem was, what I did or said wrong, but I recommend you go anywhere other than here. read more

Give these guys another try Russ D and I am sure you will have a better experience. I have bought countless new and preowned guns from these folks and I have had stellar service all around! read more

This is the worst place to buy guns from. They are very limited in stock, people skills and knowledge of the brand Canik. I have had problems with the gun since the day they referred the brand to me. Wouldn't buy the gun back nor swap it out, instead tried to low ball me with their buy back. The bad reviews about then are true and the good ones are probably family and friends. Beware of this place they are scammers. read more

Nothing but outstanding service for almost the past 10 years in my personal experience. They're gone out of their way to help me multiple times over the years, far more than anyone would expect for even for common good customer service. anyone with a negative review must have Atlas confused with a different shop. read more

Tried to work with them on a firearm concern and they were very rude to me. Their responses were uncivil and accusatory when I only asked a question regarding a type of firearm that I was considering purchasing. They implied I was stupid and couldn't read. Wow. I will never deal with this company again. read more
