There are loads and loads of shops in the Quadrant like HMV, Game , W H smiths , Clinton cards and Debenhams. It can get pretty packed out with shoppers at peak times and especially with the run up to christmas. At christmas there is usually a lovely christmas tree with lots of decorations which make it look really nice. The shopping centre always looks clean and tidy and you will always find a cleaner pottering around.

Shops you find in every town in Britain. The Quadrant itself is quite pleasant though, it has a predominently glass roof which allows it to be very bright and airy inside. There's a gallery cafe which looks out on to the main concourse of the shopping centre which is great for people watching. The bus station also comes out of one end, so finding it is very easy, and also you won't have far to carry bags to get a bus. Or even to get to your car if you choose to park in the NCP which also adjoins the Quadrant. You can also get to Swansea Market via an entrance in the Quadrant. The largest store by far is Debehams, which is a large department store and takes up almost an entire wing of its own. ANECDOTE: I was sick on the doors of Debehams one Christmas as I was shopping for presents and very rapidly came down with a virus. There are public toilets (free) upstairs which are clean and well maintained. The buidling is decorated according to the seasons, and a large Christmas tree is the focus during the winter.

It's an aesthetically pleasing, modern building with the shops partially covered by what look like massive tents above. There's a large, sometimes supervised play area here aswell in one corner (for up to 12 years old). It's not just shopping here though. There's a nine screen Odeon cinema and a large food court with Mcdonalds, KFC, Pizza Hut, Costa Coffee, Starbucks and others aswell as another children's play area. It's a great spot popular with adults and teenagers alike and you can easily kill a couple of hours wandering round everywhere. As well as clothes shops, it's also got sports shops, music shops, mobile phone shops and pretty much everything you could want. All at affordable prices too.

The market has a really good butchers and a news agents. There is a multi story car park that leads right into the Rhiw with motability wheelchar rental on the third floor. What can't you buy here is the question... A member of our party described it as the Alton Towers of shopping. The amount of eating establishments here is certainly reminiscent of a theme park. The kiddie rides outside are very dated. I've no idea how much they cost. A bizarre amount of wild fowl on the premises too. The whole place is mad. Worth a look if you are passing it's door.

I remember when it first opened; it was very, very exciting. For the first time South Wales has a selection of designer outlet stores, ranging through everything. From Cadbury to M&S, from Revlon to Whittard, and from Cotton Traders to Animal. The choice was endless. Then the excitement soon wore off, when we realised that these were just normal high street stores with things either substandard or just a little bit cheaper. This is a collection of all that is unwanted from the other shops. That being said, you can pick up some really good bargains from this place, especially from Bookends and some of the sports and camping gear shops. This is a good place to come to if you're after functional items, but not really the kind of place which is going to wow you with its selection of wonderful boutiques. There is also a cinema and food court on site, so you can make a day of it (if there's really nothing better to do). This place getting heaving when it's raining outside.

Its only 20 minutes from Cardiff so worth a trip and there's plenty of parking and open late for hassle free shopping. There is a car parking lot that is connected with more elevators however there is a charge for parking at a ticket machine before you leave so beware how long you are staying as the longer there the more will be charged.....crazy Rated a struggling 2 stars as carparking should be free.

You pay as you leave which is great as I never have any spare change! All of your usual chain shops can be found here and you can stay dry now whilst you do your shopping. Coffee shops galore, so you won't go thirsty! The downside for me is that House of Fraser and Debenhams remain out of the centre, so despite it all being very convenient to shop inside, you need to have your coat if you are planning to venture to either of these or beyond. Overall a welcome addition to what was a dreary town centre. There are lots of Plymothians who dislike it, but you can't please everybody!
