Extremely prejudice against security officers. I was told that "they like to sell to law enforcement only." I wear a firearm for armed security daily, in one of the worst areas of NJ. I go there for supplies, and that's the treatment that I get. If that's how their ownership feels, it should be clearly posted on their door. Hopefully, the list helps them pose business. To be absolutely clear, this statement was made by a manager. Nice guy, but he had no problem spreading their narrative for them with his statement about preferred law enforcement only purchases. I put my disappointment aside and purchased what I needed for my own safety for my profession and left. I do not recommend his company whatsoever. Go elsewhere where you are respected. i purchased a handgun and they did not have the 10rd mags in stock. said they were ordered and that they would be shipped directly from the manufacturer. It's been 5 months and i still don't have them. I ordered 2 directly from sig (because what's the point with out mags?)and received them in about 10 days. go somewhere else because apparently the blue label pricing just isn't worth the extremely long wait. Customer service 800 number guys are super friendly and trying to help, waiting for a call back from them. Guys in the store are all around miserable to talk to or deal with in person. read more

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!! I waited ONE month for ONE shirt to get shipped. Customer service is horrible. Called TWICE just to be told it would be shipped eventually and finally it was shipped coincidentally right before I called. When asked why it took so long I was given the run around. No apology was given. Customer service did not even have tracking numbers. So disorganized... All in all DONT SHOP HERE. I live near Chicago and could have driven to their store, bought it, driven to a vacation spot, enjoyed it, and could have returned it before they shipped it. I ordered ammunition online about a month and a half ago they charged me $216 plus shipping I asked them if they could take away the shipping because someone else I know bought there and they did not charge him for shipping and I bought a ton more than he did. So I called today looked it up and didn't realize that they have a store in New Jersey where I live no one ever said anything to me about that. So when I called up to see where my order was they said oh it'll take 6 to 9 months to get this. Well again no one said this to me and they charge my account a month ago. Placed an order online Feb 17 for a couple magazines, called March 2 asking about the status of my order and was informed that they were out of stock, mind you the website does not say out of stock. I ask when they will be expecting the magazines and was told in about a week. No problem, I'll wait. March 25 comes and I call again to inquire about my order. Was told the same line except now it's 3-4 weeks. Said forget about it and told them to refund my money. Customer service is horrible. I am so totally disappointed and completely dissatisfied with the service I have received from this company. On January 13, 2020, I purchased a Glock 43X 2 tone silver with amiglo sights from the Philadelphia location. I was told that it was in stock and it would be shipped the next day to the New Jersey store since I was a New Jersey resident. I am a retired federal law enforcement officer, and I had explained to the salesman that I needed the weapon as soon as possible due to me starting a new part time job, and I needed a smaller lighter weapon because of back problems. On a follow up call that I made they stated that they had the gun in North Carolina and that they will overnight it. Today's date is February 19, 2020 and I have still not received my weapon. I have made numerous phone calls and received numerous of poor excuses of why I have not received my weapon. Every time I called they said they will call me back and that never happened. They now wrote me and said that the gun was discontinued and they can not get it which I find impossible since this is a new model. My purchase permit is about to expire and I still have no gun. I do ALL my firearm transfers at the Somerset NJ location. The guys behind the counter do an EXCELLENT job working as quickly as possible to get the necessary paperwork done so transfers are done as quick as legally possible. The slow down is at the State Police level (NICS Check) due to a lack of staffing to meet the needs of the firearms community. As far as pricing goes, this location sells firearms to LE Only! Their prices are more than fair but the current "gold rush" on firearms has their in house inventory close to ZERO!! But order a firearm and it will come in and you will be serviced professionally and with as little waiting as possible. read more

This business is geared towards law enforcement professionals. They are well stocked with police gear. They are quite knowledgeable about firearms and accessories. However, here is why I gave them 3 stars and that is my subjective evaluation based on my experience and that of my relatives and friends who bought from them during the height of the panic buy: the staff was less than courteous towards us to the point of rudeness with the exception of one salesman who is a former Marine. If more than one salesman ignores you, acts like he does not want to deal with you, and rudely answers your questions, you begin to wonder. My relatives, friends and I are minorities and I suspect this has much to do with it. We are well dressed and well spoken. So, they are not dealing with some ghetto hoods. Just folks with darker complexions and uncommon names who are loyal and law abiding Americans. Since most buyers are non-minorities, I suspect that is would not be an issue. I have dealt with three other NJ dealers and the salesmen were nothing less than courteous. I highly recommend Efinger Sporting Goods in Bound Brook. read more

We use them for uniforms and they're usually ok just very slow and frequently make mistakes and blame you rather than take responsibility. My issue today was a firearms transfer. Delivered and signed for by Tom. After 2 weeks with no call or response I tried calling. They were extremely rude 2 of the 3 calls. The third I spoke to Jerry who said that it had been here the entire time and was ready for pickup. I really don't mind most of this my real issue came to how they were just rude and would attempt to place any issue on the customer rather than taking responsibility for their screw ups. Poor business practices that go to show why in my time here only one other customer walked in, also with a problem. I honestly held off on the review, but after a friend was hung up on and then told the firearm was not here 2 hours before it manically appeared and how rude Tom was I probably wouldn't have. read more

When they first opened they were great. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable about products. Now, they are horrible. I guess they got too big to help the "little guy". If you are looking to talk to someone about buying something you are better off talking to the tactical model when you first walk in. They are overpriced and got too big for their britches. You are better off going somewhere else! But, don't worry, that will not bother them now that they got contracts from PDs to do uniforms.
