I was told that the hours for having clothes reviewed were 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., so I rushed to…read morearrive before closing and got there at approximately 2:50 p.m. When I arrived, the counter clerk indicated that they were closing early. There was no prior indication that the review hours had changed, and I explained that I had rushed to get there based on the hours I had been given. The clerk agreed to allow me to leave my items and briefly explained the process. When I asked her to repeat the explanation, I realized that leaving the clothes would automatically indicate that I accepted their offer. I was not comfortable with that, so I asked to wait instead, which I was allowed to do. My clothes were then piled together, and I was offered $56 for approximately $400 worth of clothing. I asked how many items they intended to keep and was told nine. I decided to decline the offer and thanked the clerk for her time. At that point, she picked up the clothes I had carefully folded and shoved them back into the bag. When I later counted the items, there were actually 13--not nine. The entire experience left me feeling that the process could have been handled much more professionally and transparently. Clear communication about the hours, a straightforward explanation of the process, accurate information about the number of items being accepted, and respectful handling of customers' belongings would have made a significant difference. I understand that a business is not obligated to make an offer that a customer considers satisfactory, but I do expect honesty, transparency, and professionalism throughout the process.

Discussed getting a custom graphic printed/ironed onto an apron. Turnaround time and price quoted ($10) were good, so I pulled the trigger. The young lady helping us was very patient and answered all of our questions. She was the only person running the store on Saturday morning as traffic kept coming in. I had just double checked it closed at 6 so we walked up to and the door was locked. There was a young girl sitting in the dark, I motioned to her and pointed to the sign on the door and my watch. She saw us but then wouldn't make eye contact, grabbed her stuff and walked to the back of the store completely ignoring us! My daughter was so sad because she had been waiting all week to go. I'm so disappointed in the lack of customer service the girl working gave. It was bad enough she had turned the lights off and locked the door 15 mins early but then when she saw me and I tried to get her to open the door she completely ignored me! So rude!

Only one employee in the store, and she was on the phone with a fellow employee at another store going over ordering protocols with the warehouse, completely ignoring about a half dozen customers looking around or waiting for help. She knew we were there, waiting, but just continued to ignore us and carry on with her 15+ minute phone call. I'll buy my kites and supplies from Amazon, thank you. The owner of that business is similarly aloof, but at least they pretend to serve their customers. This store, not so much.
