That included walking me through the process of changing my document into a PDF which looks clearer and sharper than copying the letter from a printed page. The lady who helped me - and I'm sorry I can't remember her name - couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Not only that, the letters printed at Clay Street cost me nearly half what the same number of letters cost me at Staples in Chapel Hill last year. Would I recommend Clay Street Printing & Signs? My 17 yr old has a 2010 Camaro that he wanted to give a face lift to for Christmas this year. This…read moreconsisted of removing existing racing stripes and adding new ones along with other misc vinyl work to exterior, spoiler, and interior. So having no idea where to go, we immediately turned to the internet for help. My husband stumbled upon a place in Charlotte that we eventually checked out. It was a small hole in the wall with young male employees barely older than my teenaged son. The guy we talked to seemed nice enough and talked like the job we wanted done was quite doable and seemed all in for scheduling an appointment. Long story short, we were given a verbal quote that day, but then given the run around about scheduling a time to have it done for over a month. Phone calls and emails were ignored, so we decided to look for someone else...best decision EVER!! Further research brought us to The Decal Source. They were able to give us a verbal quote by phone and we never had any issues having them return a call or get back to us with any information we requested. Once we were able to take the car to get a firm quote, we knew right away they were the real deal! The time they took measuring and taking note of every crucial detail was awesome. Within a day or two they emailed a layout and we were good to go. My son even wanted some interior work done inside to make the exterior stripe work appear as though it were also on the inside and they made every effort to accommodate, even explaining the possible down sides without hesitation. The end result you have to see to believe. ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!! They did an outstanding job! There was no noticeable ghosting from the removal of the original stripes, no seams showing on the spoiler, and only a little tweeking to the original choice of materials for the interior. We had to wait a couple extra days to pick up his car due to snow, but it was totally worth the wait!! It was so awesome to see the image in my son's head come to life! The look on his face was priceless! He couldn't be more thrilled! Oh, and by the way...we finally got a call back to schedule my son's car work from the original location we went to before Christmas...lol :) I think we'll just send them some pictures of what TDS did for us and let that speak for itself...SOOO glad we didn't end up going there. I would highly recommend The Decal Source to anyone considering any type of vinyl work on their car. It has been 2 months now and we are still in awww at the results!
