THEN i'm grudgingly checking out ready to pay the 180... why was my total now 128 with tax??? interesting. THE TINT WAS GREAT! but let's do better guys. just because i'm a woman & i came alone, doesn't mean i don't know what im talking about. XOXO

Had service prior of tinting on my car and I was satisfied a year or so ago. I wanted to try again…read morebecause I bought a brand new car for my wife. I talked to the owner about getting a remote start and tinting which he was researching. They offered me a deal for $450 for the remote start and tinting on the new vehicle. Then I found out I needed a OEM part from the manufactorer which wasn't an issue. I will get VW to do it because this place refused to install it. Other places not named VW would install it though. No issues as I will pay retail at the dealership or get someone else to do it at a nominal fee. I then tried to contact them to at least to tint my wife's new car and they didn't respond. I mean just call, text or email and say we are busy or don't want to do your car but no response is just bad business. I guess it was either the bundle of remote start with their product and tint or nothing at all. Guys if you want to cherry pick your business than that is fine but as a customer we can help provide proper feedback about our experience with this company or others. I usually don't post feedbacks often that are negative but I felt this one was merited because of the lack of communication. I simply asked for a car tint and they already gave me a price to get it done. I only needed appointment to bring it in which they never gave me after a few days and multiple contacts. I will find someone that will want my business. I hope this is only a small blimp on their record and that this is an isolated incident; however, if that isn't the case it will be seen here by other potential customers as the issues will spread.

My 17 yr old has a 2010 Camaro that he wanted to give a face lift to for Christmas this year. This…read moreconsisted of removing existing racing stripes and adding new ones along with other misc vinyl work to exterior, spoiler, and interior. So having no idea where to go, we immediately turned to the internet for help. My husband stumbled upon a place in Charlotte that we eventually checked out. It was a small hole in the wall with young male employees barely older than my teenaged son. The guy we talked to seemed nice enough and talked like the job we wanted done was quite doable and seemed all in for scheduling an appointment. Long story short, we were given a verbal quote that day, but then given the run around about scheduling a time to have it done for over a month. Phone calls and emails were ignored, so we decided to look for someone else...best decision EVER!! Further research brought us to The Decal Source. They were able to give us a verbal quote by phone and we never had any issues having them return a call or get back to us with any information we requested. Once we were able to take the car to get a firm quote, we knew right away they were the real deal! The time they took measuring and taking note of every crucial detail was awesome. Within a day or two they emailed a layout and we were good to go. My son even wanted some interior work done inside to make the exterior stripe work appear as though it were also on the inside and they made every effort to accommodate, even explaining the possible down sides without hesitation. The end result you have to see to believe. ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!! They did an outstanding job! There was no noticeable ghosting from the removal of the original stripes, no seams showing on the spoiler, and only a little tweeking to the original choice of materials for the interior. We had to wait a couple extra days to pick up his car due to snow, but it was totally worth the wait!! It was so awesome to see the image in my son's head come to life! The look on his face was priceless! He couldn't be more thrilled! Oh, and by the way...we finally got a call back to schedule my son's car work from the original location we went to before Christmas...lol :) I think we'll just send them some pictures of what TDS did for us and let that speak for itself...SOOO glad we didn't end up going there. I would highly recommend The Decal Source to anyone considering any type of vinyl work on their car. It has been 2 months now and we are still in awww at the results! If you can imagine it, then Jon and his crew at TDS can make it a reality! We will definitely be doing business here again in the future :) HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
