I came in needing cup holders and side pockets cleaned ( a basic dekiding of my interior) they did a great job for a reasonable price. There is a great deal of truth in these words, and a great deal of vilification is heaped on young Generation Z. Say what you will about them, but the kids who washed my truck here blew me away with their attitude, effort, and service. I have never really patronized car washes, but my truck was filthy and I simply didn't feel like dealing with it myself. So I rode up to the ordering station. The young man was very patient with yours truly, one who was born smack dab in the middle of Generation X. He kindly explained the options and did not try to upsell me on the most expensive option. In fact, he suggested one that was modestly priced. He discussed their long term unlimited washes plan, but was not pushy at all. Since I don't usually do car washes, I opted for the one time only wash. So he sent me through the wash. On the other side, my truck was surrounded by eager teenagers who were to do a "dry and shine". One of them got my attention and told me the initial wash did not do a good enough job to warrant the dry and shine. One could take this as a bad sign, but my truck was very dirty, so I think it is understandable. So they politely directed me through the wash again, and my truck emerged completely cleaned. The crew then buffed and shined the truck with enthusiasm and gusto. I could see them searching for every speck of dust they could find and attack it with dispatch. They were truly dedicated to making my truck look great. I laid a $20 tip on these hard working kids to encourage them to continue their industrious efforts: hard work and a positive attitude pay off. I'm no car wash expert, but they did a great job on my truck and were a refreshing group of youngsters working hard at their craft.

So coming home from work tonight I was sitting at a stop sign and could see that their lights were still on, apparently they stay open late, with employees there. Well I got the cheap and quick $12 wash which was sufficient as I'm always on the highway and probably need to buy their weekly package for car wash subscription specials. The brushes inside were able to reach the bottom of my car which has been lowered, and dried spotless with the blowers. There was even a tire scrubber and I was in and out in less than 7 minutes. The vacuum is included but I didn't want to do that in the dark. I should have taken a before and after but it's dark already so I only posted the after.

I did a quick Yelp search and found this spot just 2 miles from the house. We went over on a Friday afternoon, it was pretty quiet. The first stall we pulled into the credit card reader didn't work, so we moved to the next. Once you swipe your card, a countdown begins, of either 7 or 8 minutes. You can turn the dial on the control panel to what you want, grab the wand, to spray soap, rinse, or whatever you want to do. There's also a brush you can use to scrub your car. There were two other attachments, but I wasn't clear what it was. For just a few dollars you get a fair amount of time, and if there's two people you can knock it out pretty quick. The down side, unfortunately, it doesn't appear anyone works there, so if you have any issues, or need help, you're out of luck. Overall, our experience was fine, got the bugs off his car, and were on our way.

I've been to this location before and was pleased overall with the "full" detail I got on the…read moreinterior of my car which included shampooing of the carpet and cleaning and treating the leather seating surfaces. I was pleased enough that I decided to come back here when I could not get in to see an auto detailer. This location is going on seven years old and is starting to show some signs of age in the lobby. the padded benches are starting to tear with the foam bench padding exposed. I seeing that and how shabby it looked I opted to sit in one of the metal chairs while I waited for my car to get detailed. I got the full detail package which ran $110.00. That package included my choice of three detaling options - I chose the seat express, carpet express and interior super clean along with a standard washing of the exterior. It took about two hours which for the work they did, seems kinda rushed when you compare that to the amount of time a legitimate auto detailer might take - that would be in the neighborhood of 4 - 6 hours. When my car was finished, I looked it over and for the most part, they got it fairly clean. They missed behind the sun visors though and there was just a little excess protectant residual on the dash and console that i had to wipe up when I got home. The real question is would I use them again. In short, yes but, only if I was going to get a wash and vac or if my car interior wasn't heavily soiled. I feel Golden Touch can handle the easier things like washing and vac but, for the more intricate deep cleaning and paint restoration you are better off in visiting a professional detailer. The owner also needs to invest in updating the lobby a bit.

The employees literally forgot to vacuum the inside of the car. When I mentioned that they had forgot, their initial response was, "Oh, we already did it." I told them to look inside the car and that they had not done it, since I was watching the entire time. They finally realized they didn't. Prior experiences include not wiping down the front bumper of the car where all the insect residue is, not vacuuming the center console after the guy that takes the payment said that the deal I chose includes it, getting attitude back from the employees when you mention they forgot something. The only reason I kept going back was due to the proximity of the car wash to my residence. I will now be driving farther for a better experience.
