Yes, yes, yes! I said "Yes" to him, and then we said "Yes" to One Atlantic! From the minute we walked into the venue for our initial visit, we were duly impressed. Swanky decor, elegant furniture, and breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. Elizabeth showed us all they had to offer, and we knew this was the venue for us. Our vision was to have a less traditional wedding layout. We wanted the space to feel more like a lounge and less like a run-of-the-mill wedding reception (we requested couches and high-top tables mixed in with regular tables). One Atlantic worked with us to create and execute our unique vision. We had our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception at One Atlantic and it could not have been any more perfect. Eileen and Paul were FANTASTIC during the planning, right up until (and including) the day of our wedding. Every little detail came to fruition, and everything flowed beautifully. Glasses were kept full, the excellent food was free-flowing (we had a cocktail-style reception with small plates being butlered all night), and the acoustics made for a hopping good time on the dance floor. We even ordered 150 White House subs as part of our "to go" favor, and the One Atlantic team took care of it all for us. It was exceptional! We have received non-stop compliments about the venue, the friendliness of the staff, and the amazing food. Our guests had a phenomenal time! We truly had the best evening ever at One Atlantic. And how great is it that we can honestly say that the best wedding we've been to is our own? Right on! No party is too big nor too small for One Atlantic. If I ever decide to get married in Atlantic City[1], I'd consider One Atlantic first and foremost. This venue is shiny. Sharp. Bright. Their freaking ballroom is surrounded by water. And it's wheelchair accessible! (Figured I'd toss that in.) We had our wedding here May 2019. The venue is beautiful, modern and classy. What we liked was that it was all inclusive - meaning they have a florist they work with, a photographer, DJ, and all meals are prepared onsite. You would think that would save you a lot of time trying to find and secure them on your own - however........you will sign a contract with One Atlantic, and each of the others - photographer, DJ, florist - and One Atlantic will pay them directly. We had a few hiccups, some they corrected and others we are still waiting on - 8 months later! Florist: One the day of my wedding, the flowers that were delivered were the flowers I explicitly stated I did not want. We even met with the florist prior, had multiple email exchanges and even sent pictures. They were able to fix them before the ceremony, but as you can imagine I was not happy and it caused undue stress. Additionally, the delivery fee and permit fees were outrageous - about 50% of the total floral budget they allow. Photographer: As of today, 2/10/2020 we still do not have our wedding photos! It's been 8 months! We have direct communication with the photographer, and he keeps telling us they are coming - but we've been hearing that since the end of summer. I have little faith - and am not sure what my recourse is at this point except to sit and wait. One Atlantic's General Manager has assisted, only to tell us they are coming and will be beautiful. Food - amazing! Service - amazing! The ceremony was conducted by their general manager who is also a minister - beautiful - wouldn't change a thing! Music - We had phone calls with the DJ and uploaded a variety of songs to play. I was very clear on the music we wanted for the pre-ceremony and we had to correct them a few times during the evening but they were good. All in all I would do it again there - but an very concerned about the photographer - seems like a one man business who is inundated and can't produce a final product. Than a month later they close down and lie to their costumers (brides and grooms) about why they closed down. All weddings cancelled with out notice. They stated it was so unexpected but it wasn't they knew ahead of time which makes it even worse. The insurance didn't cover anything!! All money to vendors and all the things that go towards a wedding were all lost. They are sneaky and backhanded. If they open up again I will make sure EVERYONE knows about what they did to so many couples. So now everyone has to start from square one thousands of dollars down and all when they were very aware of the situation. read more

It's a solid reception venue in AC with a beautiful ocean view and prime location at the Piers. we attended a wedding here and it was well-coordinated with very solid canapes and entrees. The cocktail area and reception room both overlook the ocean. The only detraction was the actual service and the bar: both were sub-par. The servers did not care about refilling any water glasses and completely neglected our table - our entrees were served much later than the other tables! The bar was also pretty disappointing: the bartender did not actually know how to make a Manhattan and I could barely swallow a sip of my glass of Chardonnay. However, the food itself was decent. Some highlights: 1. Roasted vegetable crudites: Much better than raw crudites with perfectly roasted broccoli and cauliflower served with blue cheese dip. 2. Ziti with vodka sauce: Solid with a creamy tomato-based vodka sauce. 3. Orechiette with basil Parmesan: Not bad but a bit on the dry side. 4. Summer rolls: These were served without the nuoc cham so it was a bit bland. otherwise, it was ok. 5. Clams casino: These were savory and juicy with a hint of spice. A good rendition of what would otherwise be a rather mundane dish. 6. Fish tacos: Spiced with jerk seasoning and lightly fried and served with with lime cilantro cream and slaw in a wonton tortilla shell. Really liked these! Flavorful and refreshing. 7. Seared tuna with wasabi on sesame pappadam: Perfectly seared tuna slices on a wafer-thin cracker. A nice blend of fresh fish with a crispy twist. The only note is that the size of the cracker was 3X the size of the tuna so that you had an uneven ratio of fish: wasabi: cracker. 8. Chicken satay: Pretty standard chicken satay. Solid but nothing unique. Also a bit on the dry side. 9. Bruschetta: Standard tomato bruschetta on a garlic crostini. 10. Short Ribs spoons: I loved this! Perfectly braised short ribs with a tarragon glace de viande that was incredibly savory and flavorful served in a spoon. I could have had a dozen of these. 11. Mixed greens, feta, candied pecans, dried cherries with creamy ranch: A interesting blend but one that worked! The cherries were a great sweet addition. The feta was surprising - I would have preferred chevre instead for a boost of creaminess. 12. Fillet mignon with port wine reduction: Served with roasted potatoes and asparagus. The steak was flavorful and tender and actually cooked to a perfect medium rare. I was pleasantly surprised as most wedding dinner steaks are sub-par and this was excellent! 13. Mahi Mahi with beurre blanc: Dry, tiny, and bland Definitely skip this! The mahi mahi was so dry that /i could barely choke it down and ended up eating half of my dad's steak (he took pity on me and my voracious appetite!). The potatoes were well seasoned and tender, though, as was the asparagus. 14. Creme Brulee: Bite-sized and so incredibly creamy. I literally ate 3 and was brought refills. This is a must-try! 15. Brownie sundae: Pretty standard with a brownie bite and a tiny scoop of Vanilla ice cream 16. Cheesecake bite: Very solid with a graham crust and creamy cheesecake. 17. Oreo cheesecake bite: This was denser than the plain cheesecake and on a chocolate crust. Decent but not as creamy. 18. Chocolate wedding cake: Very meh - Overly sweet and dry. This was actually very disappointing. It tasted like a box mix cake. Overall, a great venue space in AC with very solid fare. 4 stars for the food and minus 1 for the bar and service. read more

Beautiful venue for a wedding! Luckily the tropical storm/hurricane that was expected to hit averted itself out to sea. I'm from San Diego and am a Pacific Ocean girl but AC has it's own quirks and One Atlantic is an awesome one! The wedding reception we attended was wonderful-- great service, beautiful views, delicious food, and great aesthetics. The party eventually became reminiscent of a Vegas Club but it seems like it was taken in stride. If you're looking to have your wedding in AC, check this place out! It's also conveniently located next to Caesars on top of having the option to hire a coach to drive your guests to the front so they don't have to walk through the mall. read more

One Atlantic is a gorgeous event space in Atlantic City. It's quite removed from the boardwalk, casinos, and were cabs drop you off (something to be aware of if you have guests with mobility concerns), but it's a crazy beautiful space! The cocktail hour-type space out front has stunning views of the ocean, a bar area and plenty of room to mingle. Most of the bartenders were really friendly and poured a good drink. As we we grabbed one last drink before going in for dinner, we overheard one of the staff (it sounded like a supervisor) make a snide-sounding comment about not allowing folks to order more than one drink just because cocktail hour was over. Operational conversations should be had somewhere other than in front of your guests! The ballroom also had great views, the bathrooms had incredible views, there was a nice dance floor space, and it was all beautifully decorated. Prior to dinner, we had some amazing appetizers passed - a shrimp "cigar", beef skewers, and spankopita to name a few. Our dinner was buffet-style, featuring a somewhat bland chicken dish and pasta and was a bit of a let down after the high quality of the appetizers passed. Dessert redeemed itself with a multitude of mini desserts passed by the staff - mini ice cream cones, brownies, etc. Delish! The views are stunning, and the space is large and open. The appetizers were incredible, dinner was average, and dessert hit the spot. I'd definitely be happy to attend another event here. read more

One less thing to worry about matched by unparalleled views in AC. You are getting married while floating over the ocean... pretty spectacular. THE FOOD: Sabrina and I are foodies, attending food events from New York to San Francisco, and we love to entertain. We wanted the food to reflect that and were looking for quality food that would satisfy guests not stuff them. One Atlantic came through here with a variety of bites perfectly timed with surprises throughout the night. THE TEAM: From the management team to the banquet team, the team at One Atlantic was extremely professional. In the midst of all the planning and all the chaos they were calm, quick to react and on top of it. I held my wedding here Thanksgiving Weekend 2014 and cannot speak highly enough. A year later and friends and family are still saying that our wedding was the best they have ever been to. Yes it's pricey but you are getting a 5 star event space with gorgeous views, great food, and impeccable service plus only one event is held at a time. They will negotiate pricing though depending on the time of year (we got December pricing which was less than October/November). Elizabeth McGlinn, the director, is amazing. She had so many beautiful ideas and truly wanted to make our wedding special. She also performed our ceremony, also held at One Atlantic, and I cannot speak higher about the wonderful job she did. Even our religious family members who were disappointed we weren't getting married at a church thought it was absolutely perfect. Eileen De Los Reyes was our day of coordinator and really made sure everything ran smoothly and went perfectly, exactly how we hoped. The food was amazing, as much as possible was farm to table. Our cocktail hour was delicious. We had requested to add a special bread into our bread basket from a family recipe and they were more than happy to accommodate. The view cannot be beat. The actual address for the space is "One Atlantic Ocean" and you are literally dancing in the middle of the ocean it seems with the floor to ceiling windows. There's a balcony/deck that was great to take pictures on with the sunset. I cannot speak highly enough about One Atlantic and I hope that someone else I know has a wedding there soon so I can go again and enjoy as a guest! read more

Came here for a wedding on Friday night. It was freezing so it was nice that you can go from the parking garage at Caesar's all the way through to the wedding venue. It is over the ocean on a pier and the views from each room were stunning. The ceremony itself overlooked the sunset and couldn't have been more beautiful. The food was very good for a wedding! There were creative appetizers and the main course was flavorful and cooked correctly (medium rare for filet). Overall this is a lovely place to celebrate a wedding! read more

It's an ocean front, covered over water event hall. We attended a wedding event here in the morning as well as evening hours. From inside the hall 3 side view of water is fabulous. The wedding was spectacular and the decorations beautiful. Everything was prefect. However, the walk from the front of the mall through the stores and then taking the elevator and escalator to the 4th floor is a little long which was a drawback. Apart from this the service, staff everyone was wonderful. Layout of the food in the outer hallway was nice and the seating in the reception function was well arranged. read more

Beautiful venue. Very friendly staff. Polished operation. Immediately following our wedding, $3100 was charged to our credit card which One Atlantic had on file. This credit card was to be used for 'incidentals' which had not been addressed in the final, pre-event invoice. An invoice detailing the $3100 was mailed to us. A great deal of money, however, we did not pursue, though felt this entire charge was 100% erroneous. We would advise when contracting with One Atlantic, you firmly establish all charges prior to the wedding/event. Otherwise a positive experience. read more

The Pier shops are a decent addition to AC and the connection to Ceasars is awesome. I visited a few stores when we were in AC for a wedding at One Atlantic. One Atlantic is gorgeous. The views of the ocean are amazing. We experienced exceptional service and dinner was pretty good. Cocktail hour was the star of the show. The venue even had a projection screen to show the bride and groom's same day edit video at the reception. All in all, One Atlantic is an amazing venue for a wedding. read more

I have been a professional wedding DJ for 20 years. I have done 2 events here in the past year. So let me run through the sound setup. There is a main hallway that leads to several ball rooms. They had a large event going on in the lower ball rooms and the ceremony for my wedding event on the upper level. The music was so loud from the other party that the club music drowned out the entire ceremony with my microphone being used for it. The rest of the party went well no thanks to the young and inexperienced wedding manager. It was obvious she had not a clue what she was doing. The end of the party, they want to make it up to the bride and groom about the ceremony issue and the event manager asks me how much it would be for an extra half hour of DJ and I told her we charge by the hour and it would be $150. Their idea was to give the Newlywed couple an extra half hour of open bar and drinks. But they made the bride and groom pay me!! I couldn't believe it. They ruined the couples one special day by having an event with over a thousand people and club music blasting through their ceremony in the hallway and they made the bride and groom pay! I talked to the groom after and told gave him his congrats and he loved all of our music. Told him if I were him I would get them to reimburse me for the DJ cost. I hope he did. read more

I attended a conference a year ago and we had our President's Inauguration at Atlantic One. We had cocktails before the event in the lobby. Then dinner and the ceremony followed by a great desert room between the main room and the terrace. Cigars on the terrace finished the night with a beautiful view of the city and more drinks. Our wedding at One Atlantic was amazing! The moment I walked in one Atlantic and I knew that I wanna have my wedding here. Before we booked with one Atlantic we were looking at other venues in Atlantic city, but they can't compete with OA at all. We are from New York and we've also seen venues in ny that are within our budget. It turned out that having our wedding here is one of the best decisions that we've ever made. Elizabeth and Eileen provided us with the best wedding planning service possible. They answered my numerous questions and accomedate my requests. On our big day, Elizabeth, Eileen, Paul and our server Lynn made sure everything went perfectly. Rev. Scott McGlinn officiated our wedding and our ceremony was very personal and touching. A lot of guests were in tears. We also picked our vendors from OA partners. To us this is added bonus since we both are busy with work and don't have a lot time to research for wedding vendors. The photographer and florist were recommended by OA and they turned out to be great. We had our wedding last October but our guests were still talking about how beautiful the venue is and how great the service was. I should've written this review right after my wedding but I was extremely busy with my new job. If you are looking for a perfect wedding, look no further! So the short answer about One Atlantic is that you should definitely have your wedding here, you will not be disappointed. But here are more details... We got married this November (2010) and it was truly amazing. Some of my guests are still talking about it and my husband and I talked about every detail on our plane ride to the honeymoon! Besides the amazing views and the exquisitely designed space, the staff are incredible. The evening went perfectly, better than we imagined, and it's really because of the great staff that helped us plan and execute every detail. When you book with One Atlantic you really do get a full service venue that helps you all along the way. They helped us with vendor selections, coordinated deliveries with the vendors and billing, helped us the week before with bringing all of our stuff in, they set everything out and we didn't have to worry about a thing. They had a banquet manager on-site as well as the planner who together oversaw the entire event to make sure it was perfect. The banquet manager even set everyone up to walk down the aisle, then to walk into the reception, helped/directed us with the cake cutting, etc. The planner stayed to make sure every single course was cooked and presented perfectly. We also had a server that looked after us all night and made sure we had everything we needed. If my champagne sat out too long, he'd bring a new cold glass over for me! Some of our guests have commented that it's the best wedding they've ever been to. It definitely was the best night of my life but obviously it should be marrying the man I love! The organization was great down to the last detail. With our December wedding being indoors the backdrop of the Atlantic, and the sunset was perfect for the wedding photos. Worst run place EVER!!!! One Atlantic hosted the event "Under the Thunder" advertised as a VIP event for the Atlantic City Air Show. What a terrible terrible event. Myself and a large group of other families had purchased tickets online to be picked up at the Will Call window at the Caesars Atlantic City Box Office on the day of the event, August 17, 2011. Several of us stopped in at Caesars the day before to get an idea of what to do the day of the event. We were told to "come early" to pick up our tickets. Upon showing up at 9 am we were told by a very snooty woman that she didn't open til 10. The event started at 10! When I spoke to a manager from Caesars, I was told that Caesars had absolutely nothing to do with the event and that our tickets would be with Atlantic One. We we hiked up two floors and all the way to the back of Pier One we were told that they didn't have the tickets, Caesars did! Up and down we went until finally finally Atlantic One representatives were able to find our tickets. After that 30 minutes of hell, I was ready to take a deep breath and try to enjoy the day....WRONG!!!!!!....What was advertised as "Gourmet Delights" for adults and "Boardwalk Favorites for kids" turned out to be cold hot dogs and hamburgers. The only free soft drink was soda. Water was $4 per bottle. The advertised "Historic Aviation Exhibits" turned out to be an old gentleman with a folding table, a flight data recorder and a tiny piece of the Hindenburg! The DJ that was supposed to be playing music all day, left at 12. For the next 4 hours we were treated to hotel elevator music. What a HUGE rip off. If you see an event advertised at Pier One at Caesars or if it has the Caesars name anywhere on it, do not waste your money. Find something else to do! read more

My husband and I had our wedding reception at One Atlantic less than 48 hours ago and I just could not wait any longer to write a review about how perfect the evening was. Not only was the night perfect, but also everything leading up to the big day was so spectacular. From the moment I began working with our One Atlantic wedding coordinator, Daniella, I knew we were in good hands. I am a very organized, detail oriented person, that thinks of things way in advance, but Daniella was even better than I was! She would ask me questions that I didn't even know I had and she would answers questions I did have before I could even ask them. I just cannot say enough good things about her and working with her. Then, I don't even have words to describe how perfect the night was. The food was exquisite, the scenery was jaw-dropping, but most importantly, the service was more than I could ever ask for. I was able to completely enjoy our own wedding because I knew One Atlantic was taking care of everything for me. I never had an empty glass in my hand, I always had food at my place at the table, and I was always being asked if there was anything that I needed. I just cannot say enough good things about this place and the people. I highly recommend without any doubts that you have your wedding reception at this extraordinary venue. read more

Awful from start to finish ... To start, the venue was a very long walk from Caesars, which was the hotel we stayed at, with seemingly no "shuttle" to take us to and from the venue (my mother has bad knees) then when we finally got to the end of the pier where the venue was, we thought it would be lovely being able to look out the giant window at the ocean/boardwalk views, that was until it started to get VERY hot what with all the giant windows since it was sunset. I went to the door to the balcony only to find it locked and then asked an employee if they could open it to cool off, they said they weren't allowed to, so i asked if there was anywhere else we could go to get out of the sun (since most of my family were sweating like dogs at that point) and they said no. Perfect! Then when we were FINALLY led upstairs (40mins or so after it said to be there) the "precocktail hour" was very misleading, like are we supposed to drink and dine BEFORE the wedding, it was very confusing. Finally after the ceremony, we were lead back to the same lounge area and we were let down again. Aside from the veggies and "shrimp cocktail" the food was a total letdown. And the booze, yea only 4 name brand liquors that I could see. No top shelf booze AT ALL!! When the reception started, the level of disappointment continued. More of the same mediocre liquor. The wine selections were down right awful! Im not too picky when it comes to wines but to me the selection they had was undrinkable. The dinner food was awful as well the "Salad" was basically a core of romaine lettuce (none of which was green, all yellow and white), lightly grilled? with chunky, I think, Cesar dressing on it, I didnt even touch it. The "Fillet Mignon" was disgusting. The waitress said I only had a choice between medium rare and well done (never had that told to me before) but their "medium rare" still had a pulse so I didn't touch it... then came the music... the DJ was fantastic, no problem with her .. the problem lay with the overall acoustics in the room. Being that the room wasn't properly designed for sound, the music seemed bloodcurdling loud for most of the night causing most of the guests to brave the 100% humidity and stay OUTSIDE. Overall, aside from the lovely and clean bathrooms and friendly staff, I would NOT recommend this venue to ANYONE nor would I EVER go to another event here .... read more
