Recognition and Appreciation for Kevin Fuller…read more I wanted to take a moment to formally recognize and thank Kevin Fuller for the outstanding support and professionalism he demonstrated during a recent transition period within the community. During a time when there were several changes in management and maintenance, along with ongoing and incomplete work orders, Kevin stepped in and personally took ownership of my concerns. From the very first conversation, he was clear, communicative, and committed to seeing everything through. What stood out most was not just that he said he would take care of things, but that he actually did. Every issue, even when there were a few natural hiccups along the way, was followed up on, corrected when needed, and brought to a satisfactory resolution. Kevin consistently kept me informed, responded promptly, and made sure I felt heard throughout the entire process. That level of communication is rare and incredibly appreciated. His approach reflects what true hospitality and customer service should look like. He was respectful, kind, accountable, and solution focused at every step. It is clear that he takes pride in his work and in the experience of the residents he serves. As a resident who values where I live and takes pride in being a reliable tenant, I can say that Kevin's efforts made a meaningful difference. His professionalism and follow through turned what could have been a very frustrating situation into one that was handled with care and integrity. Please extend my sincere appreciation to him. He is an exceptional representative of your organization, and his work does not go unnoticed.

We were forced to move out of our unit due to issues with mold. This has been an ongoing process for about 3 months now. They have charged us fees on top of fees when in reality they should be giving us credit for the days we were living in a moldy appt. No one in management has a clue what is going on to communicate the problem or the solution. If you plan on living here you better think twice.

You will not find a single leaf on the ground. Here's the most important benefit, to me: you cannot hear your neighbors. I'd say that once a month, I'd hear my neighbors drop something, but that's about it. It's VERY quiet. No footsteps, snoring, conversation eavesdropping, or music can be heard (unless your neighbor is having a party of course, but this doesn't happen at the Jasper.) The building is hurricane proof and from what I'm guessing, would be the last thing standing in the event of a nuclear blast - it's top notch. Tenants are comprised of the mid to older age range, with some graduate students sprinkled in. No ragers, no pre games, no screaming. Everyone is nice, and every pet is nice. There are shops/restaurants underneath that are 10/10 and convenient. There are monthly resident events that are well worth the time to attend (sunset paddle boarding, sunset ferry rides, weekly Wednesday happy hours, wreath making, candle making, food trucks, all FREE). The internet is lightning fast. The location can't be beat - with Colonial lake across the street, and the historic district a 1 minute walk away... makes me want to move back! Rent for my 1 bedroom was $3600 monthly. It's steep, but if you spend 95% of your time somewhere, it's worth the money. There is no better apartment in all of Charleston, and I've seen them all! 5/5 10/10 - no complaints.

With Colonial Lake next door and rooftop views of Harleston Village and South of Broad neighborhoods below one will have no problem calling The Jasper HOME! In keeping with its historic surroundings The Jasper is a landmark property and is among the finest built apartment complexes in Charleston. The Beach Company (founded in 1945) spared no expense and has made sure the project has blended in with the Harleston Village district. The views and wide vistas of the steepled skylines, rivers, harbor from the higher up floors are awesome. Some apartments have balconies. The 5th floor elevated pool terrace and sundeck feel like you are in a lush tropical paradise somewhere. It's like being on vacation in your own home! Other unique features include The Jasper Fitness Club which is located in the 5th floor and also offers magnificent water views. With too many amenities to list The Jasper Apartments certainly sets a new standard for luxury living in Charleston!.

I was right in the middle of nature and had some memorable encounters with my next door "neighbors": a 5 foot alligator, egrets, snakes and coyotes. Pros * This was by far the most beautiful indoor and outdoor setting I ever lived in. Loved the warm wall colors, the huge open space, the fact I could see the river and trees from ever window. Woke up every day to an incredible sunrise. * Right there in your backyard you have the Bistro restaurant, Children's Park and access to miles of walking trails * John the maintenance supervisor was extremely nice always ready to give you a hand. Several times he carried heavy furniture inside the apt and one hot Sunday afternoon fixed my A/C 30 minutes after I placed a desperate call on his cell. Cons * Pricey ($1500 a month) compared to other apt options outside Daniel Island. However if you want to live and rent on the island River Landing is the way to go. There are several real estate companies selling and renting condos in the complex. I got mine from Core One Mortgage located on 280 Seven Farms Drive (843)-278-1600. Found them on the Internet.

The condos themselves I rate at about a 4, but my overall experience and happiness living at this place is definitely a 5 star. My husband and I lived here through 2007 and we will forever have warm and happy memories from this place. If one word were to describe our experience living here, that word is peaceful. Our particular condo was just a one bedroom and we adored our landlord who was always willing to go out of the way for us. The property manager at the time was also quite helpful in communicating any issues we had as well. The kitchens are not enormous but not that small either. I actually found them quite comfortable. Overall, this place was extremely cozy and I have no complaints. The demographic at the time we were there was super classy and wasn't filled with a bunch of younger kids or loud-noised college students. I'm a firm believer in Feng Shui, and according to this particular Eastern philosophy, having your home placed in an "auspicious" location is central to one's happiness and overall personal well-being. After currently living in a hopping downtown high rise at the moment in a bustling city, I long for the peace, tranquility and natural beauty that we had back at Daniel's landing. This place is truly special. The location on the water, the pier for fishing, easy access to the Family Circle Stadium, super close access to the Publix, walking and jogging trails and close restaurants to walk to. It was pretty heavenly living there. Yes, this place is Wisteria Lane but much much more beautiful.

If you enjoy being ignored and losing sleep, this is the place for you…read more I lived at Central Island Square for 2.5 years, and the only consistent thing about this place was the complete lack of professionalism from management and the nonstop noise that made it impossible to relax, let alone sleep. Let's start with the management: completely disorganized, unresponsive, and frankly, rude. Emails went unanswered or responded to days later. Calls were ignored. Any issue you brought up was met with indifference or passed off to someone else who also wouldn't follow through. The staff turnover is constant, which means nothing ever got resolved because no one stuck around long enough to remember your name, let alone your issue. And the noise? Unreal. The walls are basically drywall and air. I could hear every footstep, conversation, TV show, argument, etc. from my neighbors. There were late-night parties and hallway noises that echoed like a concert venue. Not to mention there's constant construction happening from local retail stores outside. Even by apartment standards, the noise was out of control. Reaching out to management about noise complaints was useless. You'll be told "we'll look into it," and then crickets. They also do not strictly follow the dog breed restrictions listed on their website--so good luck at the dog park. I witnessed multiple incidents involving aggressive dogs that clearly violated their own policy, and management did nothing when concerns were raised. And the amount of dog poop left everywhere outside is ridiculous, especially considering they claim to have a system in place to manage it. Spoiler alert: it's not enforced. It's infuriating to pay this much money to live in a place that treats its residents like an afterthought. I stayed longer than I should have, hoping things would improve, but it only got worse. Do yourself a favor--skip Central Island Square. The pretty exterior is just that: exterior. The experience inside is anything but livable. And please don't bother replying with a phone number to "talk to someone" or offering another empty "sorry about your experience." I've already been through that loop too many times--it leads nowhere!

Only realized this was the property's fault when I came home one day and saw the A/C closet wide open (again cannot be accessed by the tenant). Filter was disgusting and very evidently the reason for the mold. When I brought up why someone from management had entered my property they asked me to show proof, apparently a door wide open that only they could wasn't reason enough. Then when I asked them why my air filter wasn't changed they said "why didn't you do it yourself?". Well gee if only I had access to do it I would. Took 2 weeks after that to "fix" the mold. By "fix" I mean paint over it. Having been very frustrated and coughing constantly I again went to the leasing office and instead of any remedy they threatened to call the police on me. Now, far removed from living here Wharf 7 sent a collection against me for close to 5,000 dollars, yet there was no attempt to send me personally a bill for anything. Anytime I reach out I can't find any answers management "can't help me". As someone who paid rent through the entire pandemic I am appalled by this. Please find a better place to live as Wharf 7 charges insane prices for the services they provide, let alone terrible customer service. There are far nicer places to live for far less. If you want rude leasing agents, negligence of health, and someone to ruin your credit score this is the place for you. You'll notice most reviews here have been taken down in the last two years. If that's not a red flag I don't know what is.

For anyone considering this property, please consider my experience:…read more After becoming disabled, contracting a severe case of COVID and consequently losing my job, I fell behind on one month of rent And while I was actively attempting to resolve the situation, management moved forward with filing an eviction. The court outcome was clear: **I was not evicted, and no financial judgment was entered against me.** Despite this, a collection account was reported in my name for an inflated amount (initially close to $8,000), which was later reluctantly reduced. And despite leaving the apartment in the proper state, at their discretion, they chose to kept my one month's deposit. Based on the court outcome, my attorney, and even though I do not believe a valid debt is owed-after repeated attempts, they refused to negotiate a good faith settlement, and continues to report the balance to their collections company. As a result, this matter has remained on my credit report for years causing severe financial harm. As a senior disabled woman, I have repeatedly been at risk of homelessness. The long-term impact has, and still remains devastating, In addition, my experience at this property included repeated and ongoing concerns regarding habitability, safety, and maintenance--on more than one occasion. These included frequent domestic disturbances, recurring late-night noise, persistent smoke issues, extended delays in repairing air conditioning during peak summer, repeated elevator outages (including an incident where I was stuck for approximately two hours), unsanitary pool conditions, and ongoing pet waste throughout the grounds. In conclusion, based on my experience, I highly encourage prospective residents not to consider this property.
