There's still more work to be done by Mike, but I'm completely confident that this is the best money we've spent in a long time. I wouldn't have believed it, had I not seen it for myself.

ISR is probably the best investment of my time and money that I've made on my kids. My three year…read moreold went from playing on the top step of the pool to jumping in full force and swimming to the stairs in just one week. He not only learned how to survive and swim in the water, he learned to love the water. Now he wants a pool in our backyard. ISR are ten minute swim lessons everyday for up to six weeks. Ten minutes doesn't sound very long, but the kids get tired. They are being instructed the entire ten minutes. The instructor, Mr Mike, is phenomenal with the kids. He gets down to business from the second they enter the pool until the end of the lesson. He is a professional swim teacher and not just a someone who was on swim team in the past teaching swim lessons. Your kid will learn to float/swim, guaranteed. My 22 month old learned to float/swim from the middle of the pool to out of the pool by the 4th week or so. Before we started I was a little nervous about how Mr. Mike was going to teach my baby to hold his breath underwater and flip to his back to float. I was pretty sure my baby was not going to understand the directions given to him or handle the lessons well. He screamed for the entire first week of lessons (Mr. Mike is used to screaming kids and handles it very well), but he made it to the end of the six weeks floating/swimming to safety. The whole process is pretty fascinating to watch. And seeing your child increase their skills and confidence in the water each day is extremely rewarding. ISR was definitely the best way to get my apprehensive children comfortable and confident in the water. This will be our fourth year with Mr. Mike. Our first graduated out of the program swimming like a fish, our second is having a 2 week refresher course, and our third will be starting his first lesson in June. Mr. Mike teaches from his home in dunwoody. He has an outdoor and small indoor pool and teaches year round. He teaches kids from 6 months to 6 years and offers two week refresher courses after the first year.

These people are the best. They offer student-run massages that are about half the price of a spa…read moremassage, but I have found that they are just as good (if not a lot better). You can usually schedule a massage for the same day or the next day, and you can get a package of eleven massages for $350 last time I checked. The only caveat is that you have to use those eleven massages within one year. You do have to fill out a little questionnaire (or at least talk to the massage therapist if it's not your first visit) before and after your massage, so plan on leaving five minutes before and after your appointment. Overall, I find it to be a great value.

They…read morearen't posh like a spa, though the Marietta campus clinic is more tranquil - but the difference comes when you get your session. The quality of the treatment here is leaps and bounds ahead of what you would expect from mere students. There is a focus on therapeutic work and they can perform neuromuscular work during your session as well as simple relaxation. The music is soft and pleasant in the clinic, though since the bays are semi-private (separated by curtains not walls) you will occasionally hear other therapists and clients moving about or talking. An instructor will come into the session at some point just for a minute and review the student's work, but most students here are so knowledgeable and skilled that they don't need much help at that point. You can request male or female (or no preference) therapists and you may ask for therapists by name. You can get a full hour massage (not 50 minutes like most places) for just $40 and until Oct 31, you can get a second session for 1/2 price when you buy the first at regular price. That's $30 for an hour of awesome. Hard to beat! They take checks, cash and credit cards but you can't tip the student on a card or in your payment by check so bring a little cash with you. ;)

New Horizons Computer Learning Centers offers a variety of courses that cover a solid IT spectrum…read more We converted our MS EA training credits toward New Horizon ones, which yielded larger variety of courses, better suited for our immediate business needs. I worked with Ely S., who was incredibly kind, patient, and made the entire process easy. Training had fallen to the back of my priority list, and our credits had almost expired. Ely was diligent and *followed up with me*. I cannot stress how thankful I am for this, as I often find myself in the mix of several projects at once, with minimal time to spare. It means so much to have an account manager with tenacity. My remote junior Helpdesk Admin registered for an Office 365 course. She was satisfied with the registration process, and came back from training with solid knowledge of the admin console, Exchange Management PowerShell, and a far better understanding of our hybrid deployment. She's looking forward to registering for additional courses. We also plan to register other departments for courses which allow for better cross-training and cohesive support/troubleshooting. I'll say it again! Ely, I really appreciate your help! -- Matt Peters Network Manager .:. Information Technology Ballantyne Strong | Convergent Media Systems

Second, the room was not prepared to the corporate contract that we have with New Horizons. i.e. Panera was never ordered, a printer was not set up, there were no white boards to use. Last and probably the most important part, there was a dead cockroach on the floor for three days in the room. It only reiterates the fact that no one takes pride in their work.

There were many levels of education in the class, and he was able to speak to every level so that there wasn't anyone who felt left out or lost. I learned a lot during the course. I'd only played around with the After Effects program a few times, so taking this course helped immensely. I'm going to take the great training that I received here and pass it on to my coworkers. Thanks to the thorough teachings of Mr Smith I'll be able to explain the lessons well. I'd definitely recommend this education center.

My employer footed the $800 bill, so I guess it's easy for me to say the class was worth the money. When I drove into the Northlake Quadrangle, the office park where Sterling Ledet is located, I felt a tad sketched out at first, as the large, spread-out development is dilapidated and devoid of many tenants. However, the classrooms were extremely clean, along with the restrooms and break area. The break area included comfortable chairs, along with a coffeemaker and hot tea, providing caffeine boosts to help us keep trucking through the lectures. Not that the lectures were boring, by any means. My instructor, Michael Snodgrass, was quite pleasant and inserted subtle humor into the class, making the 7 hours breeze by. Michael emphasized his willingness to answer any and all of our questions. Plus, since there were only seven class participants, it was easy for him to stop the lecture or an exercise to dole out individual help. I was a little wary of taking the basic Flash course, since I've been using the program for several years. In fact, I wanted to sign up for the intermediate-level course, but the staff member I spoke to was adamant on my taking the beginner's class first (of course, so there would be the possibility of my taking two classes, and paying double the money). Although I already was familiar with many of the processes the instructor presented, I would say 40% of the class included new information. I was shocked that, before the class, I would spend an hour or so doing something manually in Flash that can be done with the click of a button. So, I left the class with knowledge of how to carry out techniques much more efficiently. I got to keep a Flash book published by Lynda.com and the accompanying DVD, with exercises to apply the knowledge presented in class to actual program situations. I definitely would take another class at Sterling Ledet & Associates (if my employer agreed to sponsor me). Bonus perk: there is a Schlotzsky's right down the street from the Northlake Quadrangle. I only wish the class sign-up confirmation would have included such important information, so I would have known not to bring my lunch!
