The expertise that the Plant Daddies offered me while assisting me on choosing my plants was some of the best customer service I've ever received. Educating me along the way, asking detailed questions about the sunlight in the room where I would be placing the plant to finally helping me to make a very informative decision on my plant purchase. Once I decided on my plant and container, they offered to plant it for me while I paid for my items. I felt very confident that I could help my plants grow with all the information the Plant Daddies provided me. They even told me if my plants begin to act or look strange, I was welcome to bring them back into the store for the Plant Daddies to evaluate the possible problem. There are so many plant choices to fit any budget. This store is BEAUTIFUL! The energy is so calming and very positive. I could have stayed for hours just talking about plants and hanging out. The Plant Daddies have developed this store into such a creative space and stocked it with such a large variety of exceptional plants, pots and other fantastic retail gifts and items. This is my favorite local nursery. They grow their own plants (unlike most nurseries that just buy…read moreplants from growers). Because of this, they have a much better selection and lower prices than other nurseries. They have tons of plants to choose from: annuals, perennials, ferns, vegetables, etc. and they come in all sizes (except for the plugs which they unfortunately won't let you buy). The employees (with the exception of one crabby lady in the first building) are very friendly and willing to help you find what you're looking for. This is my first stop for almost any plant I'm looking for. And if you're putting together containers, you've got to come here; they have much better and more interesting stuff than the other guys.

Green Trade has sold to Site 1. I was there last week to grab several plants. However also on this visit, numerous Site 1 guys were running all over themselves with nearly no offer of help even at the register. Also picked up some pine straw and it was about the worst I've ever bought anywhere, and I had to load it myself. Prices appear much higher than before the sale. Very disheartening to see one of my favorite nurseries go down like this. Maybe they will get it figured out. Not saying I won't go back, but it will be a while.

That's all fine, I went outside and pulled up a picture and came back in to show them the picture. When I did, a man came out and asked what we needed. I showed him the picture and asked him about it. Instead of being polite and just saying they didn't have it, he said "they don't grow here so no we won't ever have them" in a very rude way. He also said they wouldn't have them anywhere in the South, which is funny seeing I bought one an hour away from here last year. They did have a nice variety, however with them treating me like an idiot and being rude, I won't be back.
