Having a…read morenewborn, it would have been hard for us to take her to see a therapist but Amy traveled to my daughter's school to see her. Unfortunately she is out of network with our insurance so we were having to use our out of network benefit. Wasn't sure what to expect, but Julie Apel exceeded all of my expectations by a mile. Beyond the convenience of not having to drive anywhere, our therapist (who has an amazing contact with our 3-year old) brings educational materials and toys with her and varies them in a progressive fashion so that my daughter is always excited in advance to see her and work/play together. She also created a personal binder for our girl with materials we can work on together in between sessions to practice what she learned. We have seen real progress in our daughter's speech within the first 2 weeks, which is hugely reassuring, motivating and exciting. They are on the higher price end but for me it was absolutely worth it for the quality of work and not having to deal with traffic myself. Really very happy to have switched and given Sage a try and can only highly recommend our therapist.
