We always get treated with nothing but patience and respect,, which is especially appreciated because when we do buy jewelry, we're still buying at the lower-end of their inventory yet, we still get treated like VIPs. I also like their repair services, which, is also nice because you don't generally throw away jewelry because of some damage. I purchased a unique diamond earring and matching pendant for my wife from Atlanta Diamond Design several years ago. When my wife had difficulty locking one of the earrings, I stopped by Atlanta Diamond Design and Izzy inspected it and fixed it in less than 5 minutes. He explained what had occurred (after a long period of time, the clasp needs to be straightened so that the clasp will lock) and further advised that he would prefer we bring it back to him for adjustment and not to try it ourselves. This is essentially a two-part review. The first part being that my wife's wedding ring needed a pretty significant repair, the second was that we were hoping to have it done as quickly as possible. We had an event coming up in 5 days and (while it wasn't life or death) my wife would have been very disappointed if she hadn't been able to wear it. I should also mention that it was a Thursday so 2 of the 5 days were over the weekend. My wife asked a couple of friends if they had a referral and someone we trust recommended this company. I brought the ring in and spoke with a gentleman named Ami about it. He assured me that both the repair and the timeline were things he could accommodate. He took a lot of time to explain the process and answer all of my questions. I left that day feeling confident the work would be done well due to his thoroughness and attention to detail. To my surprise he called me one day sooner than I expected and told me the ring was ready. When he brought it from the back I almost didn't recognize it. I swear it looked better than it did 20 years ago when we got married. It's honestly hard to explain just how much better it looked. He again took time to discuss all of the details with me and answered a couple of questions I had. When I brought it home my wife was so incredibly happy and it's very hard to put a price tag on that. I needed to bring my Wife's engagement and wedding rings to a reputable jeweler to have them appraised for our insurance to cover them. I had known about ADD in my local shopping center but had never been in to the store. I reviewed their website, Yelp and other online reviews and felt confident they were the right group to appraise the rings. We went into the store and met Izzy, the owner, and he took the time to explain to my Wife and I the process of the appraisal. He even gave us a tour of the entire shop to explain how they make custom jewelry on all the various pieces of equipment. We met his Wife and the staff that create the pieces. My Wife had asked if he might be able to resize the rings as they were loose. Izzy measured her finger and saw that it needed to be sized down to fit better. We asked if they could do the appraisal and the resizing together, Izzy assured it was not a problem at all. He told us it might be up to two weeks for the resizing but they usually get it competed much faster. We had no issues with the two weeks as long as they fit and look great. We had left the store an reviewed the receipts and had a question. We decided to go back to the store the next day to see if they could answer our question. We went into the shop and met Izzy's Wife. She explained that her son would be in the shop at 3PM and could help us with our question. We went back at 4:30 and met Izzy's Son. He answered our question and surprised us with the rings all work completed!!! They had resized both rings, completed the appraisals and mailed them to us in ONE DAY!! We were totally shocked that they were able to get all of the work done so quickly and they looked perfect! Based on the quality of the work done on the rings resizing and the speed that it was completed, we will make this our Family Jeweler from now on! Love this place. Izzy and Terry are great. I've been using this shop as my go to jewelry store for more years than I can remember, since before there was a Johns Creek. Izzy has appraised all of my rings, watches, etc. and will fax the appraisals directly to our insurance company. The repairs they have done are remarkable. But...the best thing I've bought was the special gift for my husband. I bought his birthstone, an alexandrite. These are quite hard to come by, but Izzy has a wine and cheese party for good customers and I was lucky enough to be invited. He set this stone into my husband's gold cross. I am not a jewelry person but the employees here intrigue me. I'm not a follow the crowd Pandora fan I'm a Trollbeads fan and this is one of a few stores that carry them. So on special occasions I make my way over. I'm always looking at everything else and talking about what I don't wear and why. Before long I think I'll actually wear my engagement ring again because I know who will repair the next break. I will more than likely have them convert my screw on back earrings to something more secure. The employees here are wonderful and patient.
