The idea of a brewery tour never occurred to me. Makes perfect sense but I didn't know it was reality. When I got wind that the Atlanta Beer Bus was in full swing, I was intrigued. What happens on such a trip? I had no expectations going into my first tour and I am thankful for that. The staff of Atlanta Beer Bus was phenomenal. They went above & beyond to make sure every guest got the most out of this experience. The shuttle bus was clean, air-conditioned​ and playing the best in party music. For a while, I forgot I was on the road as I sang along with complete strangers. The staff also made great beer recommendations when asked. Seriously, this is THE best way to get around to all of ATL's breweries! My first introduction to the Atlanta Beer Bus was during a friend's wedding weekend - great idea right?!? There was lots of folks in from out of town, so why not book out a private beer bus to take us all around? It was SO much that we actually decided to try out one of their traditional routes just three weeks later! Sunday was the decided day, so we checked the routes and landed on the West Midtown. Honestly, when I left Atlanta there was just Sweetwater, so I could've gone with any of the three route options and been happy. We started off at 12:30 at Urban Tree, met up our friends, and had enough time to finish our ciders when the beer bus arrived. Perfect timing, we all jumped on, got our beer bus wrist bands and headed over to the next stop. Travis the owner/operator, was super friendly and definitely knows his ATL beers and breweries. He event had little water bottles in the beer bus for us to hydrate - brilliant. The bus is hop-on-hop-off, which plenty of time between stops for you to get in the brewery, sip some samplers, drink a pint or flight. We never felt rushed and were happy to be moving on to the next stop. Also, there are more than one schedule pick-ups/drop-offs during the day, so if you want to stay longer you can. The buses seems to hold about 12 people, so you can bring a bigger group than we had. We enjoyed going to some of the different breweries in the city. The concept of the Atlanta Beer Bus is AWESOME. However, they say the bus will pick up from each brewery every 30-45 minutes. That was not the case at all. The bus would drop us off at a brewery and we would not get picked up for AT LEAST an hour. Not sure if they were not running all of the buses but it was very unorganized and we were very delayed. We were only able to go to 3 breweries in 5 hours. Pretty disappointed in the amount we were able to visit in the time length. read more

So much easier than rideshare service! Employees and owner were fantastic. You can skip destinations. They hit all the really good craft breweries. Definitely worth it for parties of 2+ Everyone in the party can drink without worry. This is hands-down the most fun attraction for a beer lover in the city! A group of 8 of us all booked a Friday night tour. I used to be in Atlanta girl, and since I left four years ago there have been dozens and dozens of breweries that opened up and I needed to see all of them! Sarge and the Atlanta beer bus are really doing a big service to the industry and offering a way to safely get around and sample all of the cities sweet nectar. We went on this tour with a total of 9 people in our party and had the best time ever! We did this in celebration of my husband's 40th and every person in our party ranted and raved about how much fun we had that night. The bus was super clean and the music they played was perfect. We did the Saturday night 5:30 bus tour and arrived at every brewery without having to stand in long lines. We got to spend ample time at each brewery. The employees were very courteous and helpful. Booked our tour for 12PM on Saturday, and although originally we thought we may have had to cancel because there were not enough riders, a bigger group ended up booking and we were able to go! We met and ended at SweetWater, made our way to ASW Distillery, Orpheus, and New Realm. Each location was unique with lots of different drink options. Our tour guide, Brandon, was AWESOME - he was super nice and knowledgeable and so easy to talk to. He seems like he truly loves being a tour guide and it shows with his positive energy. John was the driver and he also was AWESOME - always made sure that we were having fun! If you're visiting Atlanta from out of state like us, then I'd definitely recommend you book this tour for the ultimate experience of Atlanta's breweries. read more

Took the Friday tour and it took over an hour for the bus to get us at each location. Keep this in mind when planning and choosing your starting point. We checked yelp before going and saw the note that they have 3 vehicles but that's not always the case. We only ended up making it to 3 of the 6 stops before the breweries closed/the bus stopped running (including the starting brewery - so they took us to two places). They were super nice but need to be able to get around faster or manage expectations better when dropping people off/describing the tour. read more

We did the Beer Bus for my 30th birthday and it was a blast! Our driver, Travis, got us to our locations quickly and promptly, so we were able to take advantage of all of the stops. The bus is clean, roomy, and DJ Travis even had a fun playlist going. We bought the early-bird tickets, so it was only $15 for the Sunday Decatur tour that we did. The company was super communicative, even when there was an alternate route added for one of the stops (which we didn't mind!). This is such a brilliant way to do a brew tour in Atlanta--it would cost easily $50-$75 in Ubers to get from each place, and not having to worry about driving or parking is so clutch. I LOVED my experience and would definitely do it again. read more

A friend of mine and I got on the Atlanta Beer Bus this past Saturday! We had an absolute blast! This is such an awesome concept. We went to about (7) Breweries because we started late. Our First Stop was by Bus, but the rest of the time we were in this really nice Infinity SUV. Our Driver was Tucker and Andrew was riding along in the front seat. The two of them were awesome! Andrew was able to suggest some different beers at each location. They stayed with us for the remainder of the time. The cool thing was that we could text a number and get the ETA on a bus. That was super convenient. My friend even left her phone on the bus and I texted the number and Andrew brought it to us at Sweetwater! I definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to do a "Brewery Crawl". The service was excellent and I will be riding again! read more

We had such a great time on the ATL Beer Bus!! This is such a great idea and it's very well executed. Your beer bus driver will pick you up and shuttle you between breweries all day/night for a much cheaper rate than you could ever uber for. The guides are knowledgable about each brewery and give beer recommendations based on preferences. Travis, our driver, was awesome! We took the beer bus on May 26 and for the most part enjoyed it. This is a great concept, the bus is a hop on hop off tour of several local breweries. You can stay at each one as long as you like and catch the next available bus. The drivers and guides were all great and we had some good conversations on the trip between breweries with recommendations for beer to try or food trucks and restaurants in the area. The only recommendation I have and the reason for not giving 5 stars is they need more busses. Wait times were long at times. In all fairness there was a big festival at Piedmont park that was causing traffic delays which contributed to the bus delays. read more

I had a wonderful time on the beer bus this weekend. Travis was very informative on the different beers and breweries we visited. The only thing I was disappointed by was that the start/end brewery was closed when we were dropped off at 9pm and it was supposed to be open until 10pm. Bus failed to show up on time. Additionally, the drivers are supposed to come into the brewery and tell people that they are leaving soon. We waited for over two hours and saw no one. Finally texted the number and they said drivers had been by twice, but we had never seen anyone. They failed to provide services as requested. We did a beer bus route as an event for friends during our wedding weekend and it was hands-down the favorite. So many great breweries and restaurants to show all of our out-of-town friends how fun ATL can be. Our driver Travis was always on time, always in a great mood, and always playing the best music. We had so many people that we ended up getting a custom route, which Travis also helped with, and he made the best suggestions. Every place had amazing beer and food, great atmosphere, and we never felt rushed or stagnant. We had people hop on and off through out the tour and it all went so smoothly. No one was left behind, which was astounding considering how drunk some of us got. Travis was such a gentleman and friend to all of our guests, great driver, and gave suggestions of other things to do in town during our guests' stay.
