I'm 72 years old and just went through a series of operations that weakened my muscle tissue and my ability to walk and balance. The staff at ATI took care to evaluate my condition and plan a series of therapy sessions. They tracked my progress and adjusted my physical therapy as needed. Great, professional, and caring staff..Highly recommended, read more

My physical therapy sessions just ended today 4/1/24 and I was SO sad it was my last day! The entire staff was absolutely wonderful and really knew their "stuff". I could tell because I am actually the daughter, sister, sister-in-law and aunt to a family of chiropractors, so I have had experience growing up around people who help restore a person's physical well-being.. This staff was AWESOME, fun to be around, fun to talk to and genuinely concerned with my well being. They made sure that I was comfortable during my sessions too and I really appreciated that. Thank you SO MUCH to everyone there! Jeannine read more

Unlike my first two Covid booster shots, several of my joints were very painful after my third shot. With the exception of my knee, the pain in my other joints subsided within two weeks. I consulted with IBJI regarding my problematic knee and was referred to physical therapy. I chose ATI in Park Ridge and am extremely grateful for the treatment I received from Niyati Patel. Her multifaceted approach has restored my knee's function and has provided me with many exercises to practice at home. Her massage technique alleviated the pain and helped restore my knee's range of motion and strength. Josh helps create a welcoming environment. The facility is very clean and accessible. Many, many thanks to Niyati, Krista, Emily, Josh and the rest of the ATI team. read more

If you have to have physical therapy, don't do it here. Expensive and for what you pay, you should have 1-on-1 care with a therapist. Charges before insurance deductions were roughly $500 per 50 minute session with a therapist who is always working with 1 or 2 other people at the same time. After insurance, my charges averaged around $150 per session. Talk about a total rip off. I could have saved myself over $1,000 by just going there once, getting the exercises to do, then doing them myself at home. I went for neck/back pain from sitting at a desk all day, I would not recommend this sort of thing unless you truly are in dire need of it - I wish my doctor had told me that instead of recommending I come here. They were very pushy about scheduling additional appointments and I caved because I thought it wouldn't be that expensive. They refused to tell me half way through my sessions what charges I had racked up. I called their billing department to complain and they provided me a bunch of info which is almost impossible to decipher and much of which I think is not accurate. read more

Great clean modern facilities. Super friendly therapists. Matt, David, Grace, Christa. All amazing in providing the care and direction in getting me back to work. Been there for 2 separate work injuries. Herniated discs for 1 and ligament damage in my hand for the other. Both times they got me back to work when I thought there was no way I thought it would ever happen. They are so fun and made the sessions enjoyable. They like to joke with you and have genuine friendly conversations while working on you. I've been to places where the therapists are so robotic and business like that sessions were not fun. read more

This is an update to my previous review of this place. I felt that I had to write an update since I had a different therapist work on my foot today. My regular therapist, John D., aka "the magician", was off for the holiday, so I was scheduled with Adrian. As you may know, not everyone's skill-level is the same, and I had concerns that this other therapist was not going to be as aggressive as I'm used to. My concerns we all for naught. Adrian was amazing! He worked my foot aggressively without hurting me (too much). Afterwards, I had absolutely no pain in my foot. I did a number of workout activities with no issues. I am a happy camper, and can now go about my regular activities until next week's session. My opinion is that anyone who needs physical therapy should go to ATI. read more

"Good luck with therapy, Natasha.." Over and over, friends, family, and coworkers alike all seemed to think I would need luck to get through therapy. What on earth was I about to get myself into??? I certainly walked in with some trepidation into ATI last Wednesday for my initial evaluation. My physical therapist, John Duncombe, laughed these worries away. His theory is that physical therapy shouldn't hurt. He assured me I might be a bit sore for 1/2 a day to a day after, but physical therapy itself shouldn't hurt. He was extraordinarily professional, explaining the hows and whys behind what he was doing to assuage my researcher's mentality that needs to be calmed. So far, so good! I start physical therapy in earnest today.. so if my opinion changes I'll let you know. But for right now? I feel trusting and calm and ready to fix what's causing me pain. read more

I advice any man/woman that does construction, manual labor do not come to this ATI because this woman will make you use tweezers then having me doing other major pullings like I have in my first 2 fce but they were males, this woman name is either Karina or Katrina. I can barely have a personal life with having extreme pain! She made my report like I'm fine to work like are you mental, have you did construction ever, I can barely wash dishes! Please don't make a mistake because it's just close to the house because that was my laziness because I'm always in pain and I just want to be close to home. Please stay away from this place or having a woman do a fce because I can't see myself doing hard laborer and my friends are agreeing with me because they know I loved my line of work! I've became so depressed knowing I can't do what I use to do because I have my best friend Ulises to do the heavy work because I'm in too much pain to do it my damn self! Do your self a favor and and go to, or brickyard they know what they're doing and not paying attention to there phone. read more

I chose this location since it was close and had a good yelp review. Rehab was recommended for my hip in hopes of easing the pain I was experiencing. They set me up w a schedule and a set of exercises. The people were attenative, sympathetic and non-pushy. Lauryn was my therapist and she was knowledgable in her field. My situation was a little different and I'm a candidate for hip replacement so I'm saving my sessions for after the surgery. Another good thing about this location is that I met a good friend that I hadn't seen in 25 yrs. He felt the same way about this location that I do. read more

Jeremy N.'s review from Park Ridge is totally accurate from 11/30/17. If you need physical therapy, don't do it here. Go to the health club yourself ; get in the pool;do your own strengthening exercises. This is definitely a scam; should be considered insurance fraud! You should have 1-on-1 care with a therapist for the amount they charge for you to be on your own. Besides it's dangerous; they are not spotting you to be certain you are not doing further damage to your body. After your first 2 appointments you are basically on your own. They will give you the ball/ rubber band/ etc to figure it out yourself totally unmonitored. You are being charged by the minutes you are laying there w/o further direction or spotting. They are extremely insistent about scheduling additional appointments. They refused to tell me what charges I have from their facility. I called the billing department to complain; I was told I was charged by the minutes I allegedly did exercises on my own! SCAM..DECEPTIVE! This is why we all pay such high insurance costs! They need to be reported for their deceptive practices. I did contact my insurance and logged a formal complaint. My doctor advised me not to return; I was experiencing more pain after there "manipulations" and my own unmonitored exercises. Go to the health club. read more

I have been using ATI Park Ridge for a worker's comp injury pre and post surgery. There has been no problem with scheduling or any billing issues. Great group of people that make you feel like family and they know they're craft. I've been going for almost 3 months (post operation) and the staff is personable, professional, and knowledgeable. read more

Beware! This review involves their billing. Although they are an in network provide (BCBS), I have had nothing but problems with their billing department. The reps are rude and honestly seem to have no idea what they are doing. Statements are unreadable, unfathomable as to their charges, insurance adjustments, patient co-pays, everything. PT itself was only so-so. Recommend that you pursue another provided, unless you like dealing with lots followup. read more

ATI, 951 W. Touhy in Park Ridge is an excellent facility. I chose it carefully after reviewing other facilities in the area. Krysta, a physical therapist, works in a professional manner and is very attentive to my needs. She is extremely knowledgeable and thoroughly explains my exercises and the benefits of each one for my improvement. Her assistant, Grace, is always assisting and very helpful. Simon, another physical therapist, is also very knowledgeable. Stephanie schedules the appointments and always greets you pleasantly when you walk in. Keep in mind you are in a lot of pain when you come here and need the team to be responsive and create a positive atmosphere - all of which they do! The facility is clean and I definitely recommend it to family, friends and co-workers. AMG read more

I highly recommend ATI in Park Ridge. The people that work there are friendly and knowledgeable. My OT was Dave, who specializes in treating hand, wrist, arm and shoulder injuries. I had broken my arm and wrist, and had a lot of swelling and hardly any range of motion in my hand and wrist when I first came to ATI. Dave was very attentive and took great care, working my arm and shoulder but never pushing too hard. He explained the exercises thoroughly, so I could continue my treatment at home. I made great progress under his care, and also learned a lot about tendons and ligaments! By the time my sessions ended my hand and wrist mobility was so much improved, and I was able to function as before my accident. I hope the need won't arise, but if I ever need PT again I would trust ATI. read more

I've been coming here for a few weeks now and feel like I can give an honest review. I have worked with 3 different therapists and all of them are great! They all know how you're progressing and encourage you to keep on moving! As soon as I walk in, my PT is waiting for me, we review how I'm feeling and work on problem areas. Everything is really well run and organized. I am really pleased on how well I am doing since starting. Give the place a try, you'll be quite pleased! read more

ATI is as good as they come! They have the most convenient hours, the facility is immaculate and they use state of the art equipment. The staff is amazing! If you need physical therapy, there's no reason to go anywhere else! ATI lives up to "the best physical therapy practice in the nation"! read more

If you are like me you probably don't look forward to physical therapy but I have to say this place rocks! I had seen Kristey and Tom in the Niles facility last year and they were amazing. My pain went away and I was able to not only walk but run again. This past year the condition flared up again (no fault of theirs it just does this) and I new where I was headed, I found out my wonderful therapist Tom D. is now the manger at the Park Ridge facility and when I asked my doc if I should change locations and see Tom he highly suggested I do! Tom is fantastic!. He is great at what he does, always worries about his patients and will go above and beyond to get you out of pain and back to normal activities. He will challenge you but will also listen to his patients. He always has a smile on his face and is professional in every sense of the word. His personality combined with his skills as a P.T. are truly a hard combination to find. He makes even the toughest sessions fun and is incredibly encouraging, even on your worst days when you just want to give up, He is also a great manager. All the staff is exceptional. The staff answering phones and booking appointments are super nice and always wiling to help with scheduling. They are on the ball and very efficient. The place is amazingly clean and they are always making sure things are washed, tables are wiped down etc. They have a water cooler, and snacks for the patients too! Everyone works great together as a team. You can tell they all care about their patients and enjoy their jobs and helping people. Louie is an assistant and he helps out all the time, he was great help during my workouts. So please if you or anyone you know is in need of physical therapy I highly suggest you go to ATI Park Ridge and see Tom. They do free evaluations and just five minutes in this place you will know this is the best place for your care needs! They will work with you on payments as well and their corporate office was just as nice as their therapists. This company is excellent all the way around. I'm happy to report I'm much better, no longer in pain and doing well. I hope I won't need physical therapy anytime soon but if I ever do again I know where I'm headed! read more
