More often than not, Adam Moore is our assigned physical therapist but having hung out in the back personally, the entire team is great. Even the trainee I dealt with was very personable! What's great is Adam is geniunely out for your best interests and doesn't have you keep coming back more than you need to. He also told me last time that I didn't need to be referred to my primary doctor for future reference so when had nagging pain that wouldn't go away, I was able to call Sports Plus and get an appointment without wasting any money on a different doctor to get referred. He had her 100% pain free in 3 or 4 visits! I'm still pain free after my physical therapy but I've also got two worksheets of exercises and two bands of varying strengths so if the pain returns (because I'm old and that's what happens), I can start doing the physical therapy on my own without having to return. Even the front desk ladies are wonderful! It's never a good situation when you have to get physical therapy, but the entire team at Sports Plus does an excellent job at making a sucky situation much more bearable.

This is my 2nd major injury in which I resorted to getting treatment from Lowcountry Orthopedics…read more I am now a patient of Dr. Johanesmeyer. His staff is friendly, compassionate, and will go the extra mile to assist you with all of your needs and concerns. After my visit to the emergency room, I made an appointment to see Dr. Johanesmeyer. He saw my X-Rays and we discussed his plan of action has including Ankle repair surgery, fitting me with splints, boots, and physical therapy. I have been prescribed pain medication to hold me over until the surgery. He did advice that due to my multiple broken bones, i will experience arthritis. 3/29 @ 6am I underwent Open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF) is a type of surgery used to stabilize and heal a broken bones. In my case, I had 6 plus broken bones. 2 weeks later I had my post-op appointment. X-rays were taken and I waited for the doctor. Upon removal of my cast and bandages We discovered extensive swelling along with monstrous looking fracture blisters. I was in total shock. Dr. Johanesmeyer Explained to me what fracture blisters were and how to treat them. He also Explained the Titanium hardware in my foot ( I nearly fainted). He went over the process of the surgery along with the incisions he made around the fracture blisters and why. My stitches are neat, and the incisions were all in straight lines. I must say he did a wonderful job. Dr.Johanesmeyer advised me to return in a week to see if the swelling goes down enough to remove the stitches and fit me for a stabilizing boot. He also provided me with pain medication and Gabapentin for my burning, tingling, ice picks, and cold nerve pain. 1.) Office Staff : 5 2.) Location: 5 3.) Since I am post-op the office visit fees are waived for 3 months. This is a plus because I had to meet my deductible in order to get the surgery. I am looking forward to recovering from this injury and getting on with the rest of my life through Dr.Johanesmeyer treatment plan. I recommend highly recommend Lowcountry Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine.

I had…read moreput off seeking medical care because I was stubborn and thought it would resolve itself in time. Spoiler alert: it did not resolve itself. From the moment I walked through the door, the staff at ATI were wonderful. I don't know how they do it, but everyone who works there greets every single patient by name - even if you aren't their patient. They are all engaging and personable, remembering details you mentioned previously and quickly putting you at ease. They work with you closely to make sure you're doing your exercises properly and reminding you not to push yourself too hard. I've seen patients ranging from elderly people who are clearly limited in their abilities to young athletes in seemingly excellent shape, and the staff treats them all the same. Even while juggling multiple patients at once, they never make you feel like a burden or a checklist. They even remember the names I gave the different exercises (such as "baby shark" instead of "open book"). I am looking forward to graduating from PT - and, thanks to ATI (particularly Samantha and Patrick) my pain has decreased significantly already - but I will happily refer anyone in need of PT to this location.

Overall my experience at ATI Physical Therapy in Goose Creek, SC has been more than pleasant…read more Customer Service: 5 stars, they greet you when you come in and are polite ALL THE TIME even if they get used to you coming in. The young ladies that work at the front desk are quick on their feet and get you a response as fast as they can with accuracy-- even by phone. Anytime I needed to reschedule, they have been more than happy to help me find a time frame that works for me and them. The main thing I love about the customer support/ service of this particular location is that: NONE of the staff in there acts as if they know more than you, and disregards what you have to say-- they care to respect your individual experience to your injury or what have you. I have experienced customer service from doctor offices, clinics, hospitals etc and I've always felt like I was not heard and/or felt. I felt like a body that just needed to get processed and treated for the moment and passed along. I never experienced that one time here for the 3 months that attended ATI. Facility: 5 stars--When I first got here it was a nice size facility and had enough room to move around and had posters on the wall that showed you inside of the knee and shoulder. I loved that aspects of it. I injured my MCL and being able to see exactly where it was located and how everything connects was insightful. They later did reconstruction and still ran the place as if it wasn't. I never felt like I was in a facility that was under construction. Then they finished construction and it was even better with even more room, more equipment and staff. Therapist: I had the pleasure of working 4 therapist while attending ATI. At first I was cautious because I started with one and was unsure if the others would offer me the same level of insight and care as the first one did. The reassured me that they all care and have a passion to help-- they even come with their own experience to add if you ask. Patrick: He was the first therapist I had the pleasure of working with. He greeted me with a smile you could see through the face mask. He's very humorous and makes you feel comfortable even though I felt like I had no idea what I was getting into. It helped that we both played sports and had the similar injuries-- so hearing his recovery stories really made me feel more than comfortable. I was able to speak in informal terms and say things I didn't think that would make sense and he would understand exactly what I meant. I started and ended with Patrick and I must say I appreciate him to the fullest-- I cannot express it enough. Samantha: I had the pleasure of working with Samantha as well. The first time I was scheduled to work with her, I was intimidated haha. I wasn't familiar with her and hesitant but anytime she would inquire if I had any concerns-- I would voice them and she would reassure me or give me guidance on how to help my situations. The cherry on top is that she silently LISTENED to what i had to say before she made a comment on what I was experiencing. I was able to joke with her about making my exercises more difficult and she would obliged by doing so while Patrick came and added his 2 cents on making the exercise more difficult as well-- then laughed. When my exercises got difficult they stood right next to me to ensure that I was able to handle was given to me. All of that to say, I crushed the challenges they gave me. I can say that now that I graduated from ATI haha. Mary: I also had the please of working with Mary for most of my last 4-5 weeks at ATI. She has experience with Cross Country and since I got into running long distances before my injury-- I found that I could speak to her about my running form and more as I was healing up and getting back into more sport like activities. She definitely loved challenging me when things got too easy for me and I appreciated every bit of it. I always felt like I wasn't a number or a body to them. Especially with Mary, she made sure that I was working my body with safety concerned. She always handled me with care and gave me insight when I asked for it. Bane: I only got to work with Bane once but he carries himself like a professional and just embodies confidence. He gave me insight when I asked for it and noticed if certain movement s became too easy for me. Even if I was not crédules for him-- he would ask me how I was doing and ensure that I was feeling okay if I made a stumble which doing a balance exercise.

Have had a lot of failure since surgery and the g cyst has never gone away ..We had discussed prior to surgery the removal of this because of my cancer history however he did not remove it . Since the surgery have gone to post op many times and even requested one. Only to be never seen by the doctor only PA she has tried stuff for infection ..and now this last time again still not seeing the doctor. She wanted to get a mri because did not get one before surgery and some cream . For a minute I agreed but then thought about it because the amount of Tylenol to control pain is bad for me and not being able to see the doctor decided to find some new help . Wanted to update and edit since I went back and visited the summary which was a complete untruthful statement..Have had throat cancer with no voice box so I record everything for my wife to hear just easier that way and it sure doesn't match our recording nor did she not put the mri and prescription order in like we discussed they have been calling and texting After looking at reviews ran across a review not even 13 days ago of the same Dr. guess I'm not the only one recently with problems seems to be a trend
