So far, a great experience for me. Bobby has been wonderful while helping get me back into form after some neck and shoulder issues. He is very knowledgeable and skilled and attentive. This facility differs from many in Charleston in that you will get individual attention and your therapist's time will not be split between you and other patients. Super important for supervision and healing. The front desk staff was helpful while dealing with my insurance and it has always been easy to get an appointment when needed. Parking is easy and the West Ashley location is convenient to downtown. read more

Even though I was telling the truth in my review, I don't really want to deal with a lawsuit, it's not worth the aggravation, so all I can say is stay away. read more

Do not go to them. They have 1 good physical therapist but the owner is a asshole. They lie on the forms to the insurance company, if you are hurting too much to drive, they refuse to cancel your appointment. The owner will make fun of your permanent disability that you received from a car accident. STAY AWAY from this place. If I could place zero stars, I would. read more

After an injury and being seen by a different PT office, I wasn't getting better. I did some research and found Private Therapy Services. I am happy to say I am well on my way to recovery and have even started running again. Kerry took the time to do a thorough assessment of my injury and helped me set and meet realistic goals. They are not an in-network provider with my insurance but I wanted the best therapy available and Chas has been working with my insurer to get as much covered as possible. I had a terrible fall with my shoulder dislocating it and fracturing the bone. I was sent to private therapy and worked with Lindsay Morgan who was wonderful. She was determined to make me whole again which I never thought I would be. I can do anything with the arm now and i know it is because of her skill. I had a labral repair at the beginning of summer 2016 due to a few episodes of shoulder dislocation. As someone who is very active, I was very apprehensive as to what my future would look like after having such a significant injury. I was treated by Kerri Waegelein who was absolutely fantastic. The service provided was clearly unique to my individual case (not like previous therapists who I felt were just skimming the surface and provided a general "cookie cutter" approach to my needs). After the full course of treatment my shoulder felt far better than it did before the surgery, and I can attribute that to the comprehensive care provided by Kerri and her team at Private Therapy Services. I have not had any issues since, as Kerri helped educate me on the timeline of my injury, and how to slowly get back into the gym and work my way back up to the goals I had set for myself. I would recommend Private Therapy Services and Kerri to anyone who is serious about getting back the quality of life they once had, and will definitely be going back to this clinic if I ever have any problems arise in the future. read more

I had ACL reconstructive surgery in August of 2016. I'm nearing a year post surgery, and I am happy to say that I have almost fully regained my strength and mobility. As a competitive athlete, it was imperative for me to have the best possible rehabilitation for my knee. I can't put into words how happy I am with the experience I had at Private Therapy. From the receptionists to the physical therapists, the staff was friendly and genuinely cared about how my progress was going. The one-on-one treatment with my physical therapist allowed me to find out everything there was to know about my injury, which gave me an ease of mind as I was going through rehab. Not only was my PT helping my knee get stronger, but he was also there for me as I dealt with the emotions one experiences while going through a serious injury.
