Most of the people who are in this facility sit playing with their computers rather than helping people

I have been going to Procare Medical Center for a couple of years now and to the Nellis location…read moresince it was first opened. The reason why I keep going back is Dr. Tran. If you want a doctor that's going to coddle you or looks at you as their next Lexus payment, this is not the place to go. If you are looking for pain med scripts or are trying to score an Adderall script this is not the place to go. But if you're willing to go in and talk to the man and get to know him, he is very hard to beat as a primary care physician. He will tell you like it is, he doesn't have time for games, and if you want a strong partner to help you get your health care on track he's hard to beat. He's been one of the best doctors I've ever had. Yes the waiting room can get busy and you have to wait sometimes. And while he's got some great staff working the counter he's got one or two up there that..well they suck. Call it as it is. Billing is handled offsite, and dealing with insurance is always a pain in the rear. I've had one or two billing issues here, but in the end all of them have been resolved. I'm not a patient person, I hate waiting, I hate doctors, I hate insurance, and health care in general has helped me earn my Ph.D in Procrastination. But it's worth the hassle to see Dr. Tran and his staff because when I get sick he gets me and my entire family on my feet fast. When other docs couldn't figure out what was wrong Dr. Tran took time to ask the tough questions and got results. Quite frankly I would not be here today if it wasn't for his attention to detail and asking good tough no BS questions. 4 Stars. Earned over 2 years of visits an positive medical outcomes.

Someone called me to change my appointment from Friday 9am to Thursday at 10am, I get here at 9am, because I knew the wait time, the check in lady is rude Andean because I told her I have an appointment, and I don't want to reschedule, I don't how any other free. It's always only one doctor at a time. This doctor is close to me and I don't have a car, once I get a car, I will be changing doctors because this is so bad. Everything about it. Currently at two and half waiting to see the doctor just for a referral and maybe ordering blood work. Pray for me, but I'm leaving here in 10 mins

I had an awesome experience Dr. Marek and the staff at Nevada Foot Institute yesterday! Everyone…read morewas very friendly and went out of their way to help me out. They were very attentive to my needs. I really recommend them :) The very best thing about it is that I left the office after treatment with substantially less pain in my feet than when I arrived, and way better informed about how to keep myself pain free!

I just read a review that was identical to my experience, so I thought I'd share mine. Went in on a…read morerecommendation from my doctor. After I checked in, I sat down in the waiting area and noticed how dark, dingy, and smelly the office was.. Exactly how one would expect it to look and smell on east Charleston close to the wash (I live on the east side, no hate only facts) I was then taken to an exam room where I waited just a few minutes for the doctor. No pre exam interview, nothing. The doctor walked in with his assistant, LEAVING THE DOOR OPEN to the exam room.. Excuse me, aren't I entitled to privacy while at a doctors office?? He listened to me for about 15 seconds before saying.. You have plantar fasciitis.. That's when he ACTUALLY looked at my feet for the first time. He squeezed the foot that has been hurting, and it hurt... a lot.. He said, oh you have tendinitis. Wait.. I thought I had plantar fasciitis? I mean.. you have the ability to diagnose without looking, right doc? He then proceeded to tape my foot.. no explanation why, no explanation as to what he was doing. When he was done he says, keep that on for a few days and I should start to feel better, then he prescribes a walking boot, and over the counter orthotics.. and tells me to schedule physical therapy. And that was it... Literally, nothing else.. 10 minutes tops.. didn't listen to me, didn't offer any real knowledge other than taping my foot.. I was in so much pain at the end of the day, because of his tape job, I had no choice but to remove it. Needless to say, I called a different podiatrists office immediately after leaving this place, and scheduled it for a week later.. You know what the new place did first and foremost? TAKE X-RAYS!! And gave me a completely different diagnosis, and listened to me, and talked to me, and explained things to me.. This place is an absolute joke.. I paid my $60 copay, for a bad tape job that made me hurt more than when I walked in... Oh, and if anyone from the office is reading this.. you spelled HIPAA wrong on your intake paperwork... It's 1 P, and 2 A's.. Not HIPPA... you clowns. "Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.. HIPAA... I should have known the second I saw that.

This review is for Dr. Abdi Raissi, MD. He's a foot and ankle specialist only. I had a hard fall on…read moremy tile floor this July and was a mess, but I was seeing my PT in a few days, and he didn't think my right foot was broken (I did, though). It wasn't until I got an X-ray 2 weeks later, while walking around on my heel, that I found out I'd broken my 5th metatarsal. No wonder it had hurt so badly, developed a hematoma, and swelled up like a marshmallow! DOC normally won't see patients with a broken foot after 7-10 days, but Dr. Raissi squeezed me in at week 3, hence the 5 stars going to him. He was very personable, answered all my questions, asked if I take vitamin D (always), and he was happy at how my bone was healing thus far without any medical guidance other than Google: elevate, ice, stop if it hurts, wear good shoes, do light exercise if tolerated to encourage bone growth, etc. He even let me wear my sandals out because they're stiff-soled and cover most of my foot. I was so worried I'd be ordered to wear a boot, and I need my right foot to drive. I saw him again at week 8 and was over 90% healed. I'm at week 9, feeling 99% better, and back to my evening walks in my Nikes! I hope to never break a foot bone again, but now I have a nice and competent doctor if I need one in a jif. Dr. Raissi also runs on time unless you get squeezed in like I did at my first appt. Tip: At the DI location, the waiting area is really warm and the exam rooms and X-ray room are freezing, so dress in layers.
