I am a medical professional myself and cannot believe how extremely UNPROFESSIONAL This Doctor is and how can they even call me and tell me I have 3 hours to get my OWN X-RAY! So, I was able to speak with someone finally and told them the charges in question were for my wife who is now deceased. The reply was, " well, she incurred the charges prior to her death." How's that for cold! Since this person was NOT in the billing department (even though she responded to my request to speak with the billing department), she said she would forward a message to them and they would get back to me. 8 days later and still waiting (although hell will most certainly freeze over before they see a dime from me.) Let's face it, these people lack compassion, people skills and business acumen. This is not a doctor's office; this is a shoddy example of sleaziness.

And the front desk is not very friendly. The doctors seem to be offering only surgery as an option, which I guess is understandable as that is what they are trained to do. However, it would have been good to offer physical therapy as a way to possibly resolve my issues before just jumping to not one, but two surgeries, and then only to say that because of the surgeries my arthritis is now much much worse. I found them on Zocdoc and they had good availability. Dr. Donahue was very professional, funny, and got to the bottom of things quickly. I felt so much better after his assessment and treatment. I also really appreciate that after you see the chiropractor, they bring you to one of the physical therapists to get stretches and exercises to help you deal with (and hopefully prevent) the issues from coming back. Katherine at the front desk is perhaps the friendliest office manager I've ever met. She always has a big smile and is so empathetic to every patient. She's quick to respond on things and helpful at working with insurance and scheduling appointments. Very happy to have found such a great provider in Chicago! Just don't forget to pay your meter if you park on the street, you WILL get a ticket (I learned that the hard way).

I showed up and they said not to worry they would get me into it because they had no idea why it was cancelled. I left an hour later because they still didn't get me into the appointment. Before I left they assured me they would refund the co-pay they charged me. They didn't do that of course. I went to the Chicago Rush for my appointment but had to drop off my imaging CD at Munster. They told me it would take 10-15 minutes and left 45 minutes later. Morons work the front desk and that says something about the office! If you can get past them it might be good but they could care less at the front desk! The worst part is I had to listen to their stupid nonsense stories while they sat around doing nothing for something that my 10 year old can do in 5 minutes.

After years of pain and stiffness, he was the one to find my daughter's juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, through bloodwork. We have gone to 2 other orthopedic doctors prior to Brown and they all did xrays and threw her in physical therapy, never finding true reason to why she had the pain. He went above and beyond with her getting dx and we are forever grateful. Front desk ladies are wonderful. Mary was amazing with patient education and follow ups. After seeing how many xrays doc ordered, X-ray tech muttered "Jesus Christ" under her breath and seemed annoyed to do her job. I'm not looking for "good feels", I'm there for excellent care on my family's health.
