They don't just go through the motions--they take the time to listen, explain, and make sure you understand every step of the process. What really stood out to me was how knowledgeable everyone is. You can tell they truly know what they're doing, and that gave me a lot of confidence in my recovery. They created a plan that was tailored to me and pushed me just enough to make real progress without feeling overwhelmed. Honestly, the results feel almost like a miracle. When I first came in, my shoulder was in rough shape, and I wasn't sure how much better it could get. Now, it feels significantly stronger and more mobile--I'm beyond grateful. I truly owe my improvement to the amazing team at Cora. If you're looking for a place that combines professionalism, kindness, and real results, I can't recommend Cora Physical Therapy enough. I've been a runner for almost 5 years now, and I've encountered my fair share of setbacks during…read morethat time. Perhaps once a year or so, one of my leg muscles or somewhere in my knee joint would flare up during training and slow my running nearly to a halt. The experience was always incredibly demoralizing. And perhaps more demoralizing was the fact that repeated bouts of physical therapy didn't seem to prevent the issue from occurring in the future. It always felt like something was missing, so I searched around for an expert that could help me piece it together. I sat down with Jason for my initial evaluation, prepared for another month long routine of stretching and glute strengthening exercises. But even within the first half hour of meeting me, Jason was already subverting my expectations. He effortlessly identified a lack of hip mobility and tight quads -- the ultimate "etiology" of the knee pain as he called it. He sent me off with some hip mobilization exercises, and when I came back soon after he offered to dry needle my quads. The difference these two changes made were night-and-day. The nightmare of another month of PT had vanished in an instant, and I was back to running nearly pain-free. And what's more so is that the results have lasted. A few short weeks in Jason's care, and I've been back to the running grind nearly flawlessly for months on end now. Jason is truly different than other PTs I've worked with in the past. He clearly has a remarkable level of experience and a principled approach to rehabilitation that yields sustained results. I am incredibly happy I chose Jason for my PT and would highly recommend him to other runners.

I was referred to her for prolotherapy to treat chronic lower back pain and I'm seeing relief I didn't know could be possible! She also recommended we conduct some screening for GI issues and hormonal regulation to address issues I'd been dealing with for so long I had become accustomed to them. It turned out I have a persistent GI virus, and during our follow up visit Dr. Li had the treatment ready to go. Dr. Linda Li's scope is as great as her skilled care. She takes public health and mental health into consideration during her initial assessment, recognizing the impact of trauma, environmental exposures, and social determinants of health of overall health outcomes. Dr. Li's integrative approach to medicine has been refreshing and absolutely made a positive impact in my health and quality of life. Thank you!

I have had some medical issues that I have not been able to resolve for the past few years. Having tried Western medicine and holistic methods, I decided to try out acupuncture. I was not sure where to find a good acupuncturist (other than Chinatown). I really wanted someone I could communicate my problems to and who could communicate with me so that I could understand everything. Dr. Zhao was the answer to my problems. She speaks English and some Mandarin! I had told Dr. Zhao that it was my first time to acupuncture and told her my problems. She explained everything thoroughly to me and put me at ease by answering all my questions without any judgment. She was very soft spoken, calm, and friendly. During the procedure, I was worried about pain with the needles, but I barely felt a thing! It was very relaxing! Dr. Zhao was able to pinpoint all the tender areas on my body (that I did not even know were tender to the touch)! She is that good! Dr. Zhao was able to relate my tender areas to my medical problem. There are many rooms at this center, and everything looked very clean. While I was resting w/the needles in me, Dr. Zhao put on a heater to warm me up and also some spa music to relax me. I was so relaxed I almost fell asleep! Chicago Whole Health Center accepts insurance. Before I made my appointment, I spoke with the other doctor, Dr. Graham Pommerehn, who called my insurance (Blue Cross Blue Shield) for me to see if acupuncture was covered under my insurance plan. He called me back to let me know what my insurance allowed under my plan. Super nice!!! The only thing I needed to pay was a co-payment. Awesome! Best of all, they are open late until 7pm! The building is very large so you can't miss it. There is plenty of street parking in the area for $1.75/hr.
