From the initial call with the receptionist Vicki who was very thorough polite attentive and knowledgeable the friendly receptionist who greeted me upon arrival and Dr Forni himself everyone really made me feel good about going to the Dr. This practice was night and day compared to other medical specialists I have been to lately. I'm so tired of going to physicians and getting five to ten minutes of a specialists time being treated rude and like the provider is doing me a favor. I can't tell you how often I've thought how can a person who has to be making 300k plus and is their own boss be so miserable . Dr Forni is not that type of Dr he spent over and hour thoroughly examining talking to and explaining things to me. He seems a genuinely happy down to earth professional with a wonderful personality. He explained my issue was more of an acute than chronic issue and that in light of the fact my insurance didn't cover orthotics he could construct something himself to provide relief. He did just that saving me a lot of $ and right away I felt a difference. I don't understand how he doesn't have pages of great reviews he is a real gem and I now know who I will go to for any foot or ankle issues.

It's less than 2.5 months since the right knee surgery, and her leg is straight and no more limping. My doctor , Dr Thomas Shoenhofen sent me to Dr. McCall due to the severeness of the injuries caused by the falls. I made an appointment for the first available time nevertheless, the pain, swelling, numbness , tingling and color changes prompted me to ask to be seen by Dr. McCall as a "Walk-In", which is offered to patients unable to wait for an appointment. I was shocked, when the receptionist demanded I pay $350 in order to be put on Dr. McCall's waiting list, because she claimed my Medicare was suspended. I was not only humiliated and embarrassed by the receptionists ( there were 2 of them)., but also spoken to rudely and with no empathy whatsoever in front of a room full of waiting patients. I had no choice but to pay the money because of all the pain, etc. After paying the $350 on my Visa Nordstrom Credit Card and waiting more than 2 and a half hours, Dr McCall did nothing but look at mt leg and say there was nothing he could do to help. He asked if I had a wrap at home my reply was "no". He then wrapped the leg and said to see him in 2 weeks " But only if my leg was not better. We don't need to just visit" I then mentioned to him about the unprofessionalism of his receptionists. He stated " Isn't it nice to be able to be seen by the doctor as a walk-in? You're money will be refunded". Upon leaving, I was told by the receptionist that it was too late to reverse th

I've came here from a tight lower back and a bad left shoulder, and each time Dr. Curtis was nice, friendly, and professional. What sets him apart from the couple of chiropractors I've been to is that he doesn't pressure me about my next appointment. I know this sounds small, but to me, that's a welcomed difference; I don't feel like he's trying to milk additional sessions with him, and at the end of the day, he tells me to let me know how things go, and if I need to come back, I need to come back. I've been to chiropractors where they make me do exercises, only to see that the exercises that I'm capable of doing, I'm doing well, yet they tell me I need to come back again, and not only that, but for 3 or 4 more sessions. Not a fan man. When I went this time to get my lower back checked out, Dr. Curtis assessed me and explained to me what may have caused the issue, and what to do to prevent it from happening in the future. He also explained the whole adjustment process and the machines he hooked me up to. The overall process was pleasant and really helped. I would definitely go there again.

After a few days in the hospital she was brought to Norridge Gardens. Our family has been pleasantly pleased with every aspect of her stay! From the admission process with Rebecca, to the Social Worker Janet, PT Allen, Speech Therapist Kasha (auntie has a swallowing issue), dietician Elim, Gloria and all the nurses and helpers on the 2nd floor led by Ruby, a very caring head nurse to the front reception desk staff, everyone has been extremely helpful and treat our aunt with the utmost respect & dignity in these difficult times. Sure, the place could use a lil touch up of paint, on some nicks on the walls, BUT the entire place is Very Clean!!! The proverbial adage, of "You could eat off the floors!" holds true at Norridge Gardens! The nurses communicate frequently with me as I've been her caretaker these last ten years. They are not afraid to call me at any time with any concerns. In conclusion, we feel extremely fortunate to find a lovely place for our dear aunt. Another place near bye refused admission and we are very happy they did! The aura of the other local facility was nowhere near as caring and welcoming! Keep up the great job, NG!

Here are some highlights from his stay (just less than a month). Arrived before the heatwave over the July 4th holiday. First day I visited there was no air-conditioning on the entire 2nd Floor unit. The window air conditioner in his room did not work. They put a fan in his room that only blew back hot air on him. I kindly asked the CNAs to make sure my friend got plenty of ice water. I was told (I kid you not) that the patients had to "ask" for ice water. No one seemed particularly concerned that elderly patients get dehydrated easily. Had a conference with the Social Worker and PT/OT specialist. I complained that no one got my friend out of bed for the 1st 10 days of his stay. I was told my friend could request to be seated in his wheel chair. My response: "What wheel chair?" Suddenly a wheel chair appeared out of nowhere in his room. No shower for the first 19 days of his stay. The wound care specialist missing in action. I explained I wanted him out of bed every day with walking, lunch in the community room and assistance with toileting himself. Oh and he didn't get the promised twice weekly showers for the next 10 days. Being in an adult diaper makes most people uncomfortable. Having to request a change that takes more than an hour to happen is frustrating. And not getting a shower makes it worse. It does not get better. My friend was moved from his un-air conditioned room to a room that was jammed with 3 beds. Built for 2 patients. Only one working TV. I visited and noticed all this extraneous medical equipment around his bed. I had to pick it all up and put it on a shelf near his bed. I requested three different times to three different staff members to please remove the unneeded medical equipment which included dirty gloves, a bag pflegm from the previous patient in that bed and the machine that removes the pflegm from a sick patient's lungs. Just gross. They never cleaned the room for the 5 days he was in that room. Funny thing is, during his last five days of his stay there he took to dressing himself and going to the toilet on his own. Just plain tired of having to wait to be changed.
