Coming here our first time the doctor was very informative patient and thorough. I honestly feel like we were talking to our family member or for me a best friend. It almost feels like it tricks your body into healing itself. The 30 min of peace and relaxation is unmatched by anything that I have ever done. First they clearly told me they were all in network with my insurance, and then after the acupuncture session they told me my practitioner could not accept insurance, but somehow nobody knew about it beforehand. I realized too late that this place is utterly mismanaged and incompetent. The manager said it could take weeks or longer to get things straight on their end. Since they know ZERO about acupuncture, they do now know or care that it is useless to start acupuncture and then wait weeks or months for a follow-up. Then they refused to let me make a follow up appointment with any other acupuncturist that actually could actually accept my insurance. This place is shady, duplicitous, and without ethics, and I would highly recommend you stay away.

There was a little soreness afterwards but that's to be expected. I did not expect to experience bruising and mild pain. The next day the injection site was very bruised and discolored and tender to the touch. The bruising got worst be the day. It's been 5 days and the color is not getting any better. Im not pleased with my experience and will sadly not be scheduling anymore infusions with them which sucks as I was excited to begin receiving infusions on a monthly basis.

They found I was only supposed to pay a copay, but instead of returning the $106 I was overcharged, they said they'd apply my $$$ to future sessions. Uh, ok, but I truly don't like being told what's going to happen to my $$$ when someone else makes a clerical error. I should have been asked what I'd like to do. That said, otherwise, I like HoneyB Wellness. The therapist I was assigned is great. We have a lot of work to do because of trauma I've experienced past and present, but she seems up to the task. She listens well, she's adept at guiding the conversation, and she makes me feel seen and validated. And I'm able to see her in person which definitely makes a difference.
