It is with this insight that makes him a better trainer than most, because he can speak from experience. He is down to earth and really helps each client with their specific needs, unlike many trainers who only train one way and if you aren't up to what they dish out they dump you or won't take you as a client because you don't make them look good. He is great about supporting you through emails, facebook or whatever means of communication you prefer. He keeps things positive and motivating on a daily basis. Another strong point for me is that he is a Vegan, but doesn't push that on others, but can help if you are Vegan/plant based as well. If reaching your goals not only in fitness but in life is important to you, I totally recommend Sean!

I had an assessment with Dillon where he listened to my main complaint, performed a diagnosis, and wrote up a plan for me to follow. I followed his plan and worked on my mobility followed by several strengthening exercises. As I worked through some of the movements and exercises the first few weeks I felt a little frustrated at how slow the entire process was taking. My left knee felt slightly better but still had a long way to go. I brought these concerns to Dillon who not only listened patiently but also encouraged and worked with me through adjusting my mobility and exercise routine. Within the next few months I slowly started to feel stronger and more confident on my left leg. I kept working on mobility, stretching, and strengthening and within 6-8 months I started feeling more myself. As of today I can say that I'm back to feeling 100%. This is all due to Dillon and the work at Human Potential. I would highly recommend Human Potential and Dillon to anyone looking to recover from an injury. Especially anyone who considers themselves to be an athlete and wants to get their body back to pre-injury like levels.

I started training with Melanie November of 2016. After one of previous personal trainers left…read moreBakar Fitness I tried a few people before finding Melanie. Melanie's profile caught my eye on the website of Bakar fitness. I have always been on the petite side naturally and one of my goals was to be able to gain muscle and be strong. I never thought it was possible for me to be very strong being a 5'3 and naturally skinny person. Melanie definitely proved me wrong! My proudest moment was when I was able to deadlift 185lbs (I was myself 107lbs). While the number of pounds gained/lost definitely shows progress and reflects great milestones in one's personal health journey, training with Melanie has helped me look at health beyond numbers. Training with Melanie has had cascading positive effects in my life. I have become more disciplined when it comes to my health which in turn has improved my diet, reduced my anxiety, helped with my insomnia. Melanie is definitely unique in her approach. I have had several trainers where training means 1 hour of working out with them every week. Melanie is not your average trainer. She cares deeply about her clients and goes above and beyond for them. Outside of our 1 hour of training, to give an example of how Melanie came through as a coach for me - She gave me a nutritional program and kept me accountable. I broke my wrist from a bike ride; Mel helped me train my lower body in isolation for multiple months which helped me stay healthy physically and emotionally. I also had a shoulder surgery from a sports injury. I experienced a lot of atrophy and stiffness after the surgery. Melanie has supported me over the last 2 years to build back my strength and range of motion. I can do pull ups again! I have gained a lot of strength and muscle with her programs. Melanie is not a trainer that just cares about the number of pounds dropped/gained or to just get you high numbers for squats or deadlifts. She is very cognizant of injuries, she puts a lot of focus on conditioning and stretching and taking care of your body like it is a temple. She is extremely educated about anatomy. These qualities differentiates Melanie's programs from just another personal training experience. People often think having a personal trainer is not worth the money. Why pay someone when you can google exercises/programs. Having done my share of googling programs and investing in a personal trainer like Melanie, I can definitely say I am better off with Melanie. I look at health differently now and investing in having an expert like Melanie has definitely been the right choice and the returns have been more than worth it.

I started training with Tj Michael few months ago. Back during covid before I got my shot I did virtual trainings and they were awesome! Since those days I have gone in since I've gotten my vaccine. It's absolutely fantastic to work in person as well and he is as well and since he has all the gym equipment he needs it makes it much easier on me as well. Whether you do virtually or in person he does an amazing job but I do have to say I like in-person better. TJ Michael has been fantastic. He tailors all the workouts to exactly what I need. When I first started with him I had major back problems to where I couldn't even walk. Now hes helped me slowly get my back "back in shape", haha! Every week we go over our new exercise routine. It's fantastic too because it doesn't strain my back at all but it helps me strengthen all the muscles that I need it's just that I need to keep my back loose and my hips free. My wife also goes to see Tj as she wants to build muscle and keep lean. We have very different workouts which shows me he is very versatile! That brings me to his professionalism and respect. Tj likes to get measurements so he can keep track of your progress. He doesn't require it though. We both wanted to do it though and he made the whole process so easy. He was very respectful and had us help measure so we were more comfortable. He is the best! His level of professionalism and fantastic listening skills far exceeded our expectations. He also hears everything you have to say and need that you have and he'll tailor the experience to you. When you go in you'll have an initial evaluation and then he'll come up with a starting routine and he'll go over everything with you before you start to make sure everything sounds okay to you. We will be seeing Tj for a long time indeed! See you soon, Tj!

I knew I did not want to take the traditional pharmaceutical drugs because they can leave you very lethargic and feeling foggy. So I start working with my naturopathic physician on alternate methods. I also knew that I needed to find an exercise program or trainer that would help me with a work out program that would help to improve the pain & mobility issues I was starting to have. In this research I found Corey and liked how he had gone through some of the things that I had growing up and that he didn't look like your typical trainer. I started working with him in February 2017. He was very understanding & knowledgeable about fibromyalgia as he already had several people that he was working on with the same condition. He helped me create a multifaceted plan with NKT, Movement Therapy & at home exercises to increase my movement & ability to do things around the house AND decrease my pain and joint stiffness. A few months after starting to work with him I was able to move around 500 pounds of brick for a sidewalk project that we were doing at our house and still went to lift weights with him a few days later! Previously I would have been laid up for weeks with very limited ability to move and in a humongous amount of pain! He has a great way of being encouraging but also push you to do more than you ever thought you could do. Without his help I would not be able to do even half the things that I can do today!
