The drop-in rate of $10 was very reasonable. The class schedule was flexible and offered several options. Most importantly, it was a great workout! I reside in Houston, TX and regularly attend a weekly boot camp but I still felt the burn in the two classes that I attended at this facility. Awesome workout in just 30 minutes! It was a good change in workout. The owner Sloan was very nice; everyone was welcoming to my new face I will definitely use this facility for any upcoming visits.

The stack & pin-select resistance equipment is a little outdated, but it is well maintained and was good to go ergonomically. I was impressed with the breadth of options for exercise. The equipment mix allows training of all muscle groups with sufficient variety to avoid repetitive stress injuries. Plus, with so many options you can find a good alternative if you're intended station is in use. I've only been there once but the culture seemed encouraging toward building community and getting more fit together -- at least for those so inclined. If that (culture) hunch proves true, I'd say that's some secret sauce that on it's own makes it worth a visit if you're looking for a gym in the Otsego area.

Ooky Spooky is a must-see, and it's so cool to witness the wide range of dance arts that comprise bellydance. They've got a really fun and funny performer and instructor named Jinx in their troupe who specializes in poi, scarves, knives and other accoutrement, and I particularly love seeing her perform. It's always a surprise what she'll come up with. The showcase features both Boheme dancers and special guests, and in addition to the dance showcase includes a weekend of activities for dance students. A wide array of classes is available, but I'm thinking the one for me is Belly Dance Drink & Drill -- I'm thinking I might need a little liquid courage to get my shimmy on!
