The staff are all amazing to the point of greeting you by your name, in which most places I've been to don't greet you at all. They are constantly cleaning the fitness center exercise machines, keep the locker rooms clean and odorless. There is also an amazing full salon and spa with massage and beauty services of which employees are also equally very kind and hospitable. (Their smoothies are OUT OF THIS WORLD!) In the summertime we enjoyed bringing the kids to the swimming pool to learn how to swim, and I use the Jacuzzi and sauna rooms which is very therapeutic. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. And I highly recommend this place over the all the other fitness centers in the battle Creek area.

My kids enjoy the classes and their swim skills have grown significantly. They started in a level two class which I would consider beginner. Some of the instructors are great while others seem to lack confidence in class progression. The YMCA also offers indoor basketball courts, cardio, weights, racketball, an indoor track, martial arts, daycare, training, and more. Room for Improvement: 1. The family dressing room shower water is extremely hot. There is no way to adjust the temperature. Be careful with children. 2. Swim class start times are inconsistent and staff somewhat unorganized. 3. Parking lot has several pot holes.
