I…read morewas told planet fitness doesn't offer that feature anymore even though it allowed me to go in using the feature from the app..I would've made the payment right (was planning on after labor day) but the lie he told me showed dishonesty in my opinion. It was a guy maybe 34-40 bald white guy average build. If they are willing to lie that the feature the app allows isn't really allowed then they should remove it from the app. I canceled my membership right there on the spot because I don't appreciate dishonesty tactics. I have a home down the street in sand piper and a built a gym just never used it. But If the app shows a payment etc should we say its a less amount on the app? If the app says you can do this with the black card, should we say we can't even though the app says it? Anyway it was completely dishonest and how comfortable he was to do it makes me never want to do business with planet fitness for the foreseeable future. So if you do try the skip payment because of whatever plans you have, know that its most likely not a issue and they are picking and choosing out of boredom and willing to lie to you. Disgusting practice when the truth takes less energy. Anyway they lose a customer whose been there for multiple years because they don't acknowledge the apps features. Doesn't make sense, but oh well. There's most likely more honest people elsewhere so it's a blessings and ill see it as such. I've been in indiana and joined this club when I got here becaaue it was so close to my house. But ive noticed a flaw in character all throughout indiana so running into this eventually, I feel was expected. The skip payment has worked all the 2 times ive used it in 2 years but it doesn't work today or isn't allowed anymore. Not skipped a payment and never paid but having a active membership for 2 going on 3 years. He also had the audacity to ask me why I was canceling and said he'd advise not to do. Trust im not from indiana nor do i hangout or associate or congregate with anyone who seems to be a low character. Thats something i dont ignore. At this point buddy, your dishonesty is the reason. Such a silly request from him. Lose 30$ for the foreseeable future all for 30$ 1 payment and tell me the app is misleading me and is wrong to have that feature. The app. The planet fitness app has the feature, but they don't allow it at this "franchise" its only allowed at corporate. I signed up at this franchise and the feature app and account all is with this franchise. Bogus. I just paid the balance and now I'm use my home gym or better yet, find a different gym. But to pay and stay for this type of conversation and vibe from him, no thank you. Something told me his greeting when I walked in was off, and then he went into the computer. Funny. But look at the reason he put. This is not the case. You said the app mislead me. Don't believe the app because even though they offer perks, it can't be used my me. Such a dishonest practice and even another lie to cover up what he did. Wouldn't the cancelation reason be "did not agree with new planet fitness rules" or something like that if it was genuinely that. I literally was following a feature in the app, and was told that the feature wasn't for me. I couldn't use it. If I can't trust the app (apparently) why would I pay and stay here? I don't feel the app mislead me, I do feel Chad misled me because how absurd is it that black card members cannot follow the same app they are a black club member on?

I'm a Holland Michigan transplant and a formerly obese individual. I've been in the gym since 2011…read morealways trying to out train my bad diet, but can you blame me? Have you guys tried cookies? Anyways I've had an ATF membership in a few different states. I didn't just keep it because at one point I moved to an area inconvenient to anytime, etc but I've had my membership for about 15 months now. Guess how many times I used it in Michigan. Like 10. The reason being is because the old owner of my gym was a mean bully and I couldn't afford to buy out my contract. He yelled at me about using tanning in the middle of the gym and I felt humiliated so I just...stopped going there and went to a different gym instead. I was set to cancel my membership in September when my contract was up. This was a long intro but I'm going somewhere. When we moved to Westfield I figured we should at least give Anytime a shot and I'm so glad we did! Read on! I met the owner because the manager was away. We first met with Bill the owner, and I made the decision that I'm keeping my anytime membership but going a cheaper route for my son. The training is...more than I paid for my Burn Boot camp membership. It's more than Orange Theory. It's more than Club Pilates and it's not one on one. It's like small group training. He presented the non training memberships as like $50/mo which is substantially more than my grandfathered membership so I was hesitant. So why am I giving this gym five stars? We joined another gym. It was meh. It wasn't the best. The owner was super kind. Training is $50/session. Very attainable. My kid was just not at home there. He is my ENTIRE world and right now he's battling some health concerns and I'm just wanting him to thrive when we workout, so we came back. That's where we met and spent about an hour with Allan (manager) going over goals, ideas etc. My kid (17) loved it. We got a military discount since my husband is retired af. So now to the details that matter: Equipment: plenty to get a great workout. Kadin wishes they had a regular leg press. I know that they own the location at Noblesville and they have one there so we can go do that when he wants a leg day. This gym is CLEAN. When I tell you my old Anytime was run down...whew. This one is like a sparkling example of what a well maintained gym should be. I have had the unfortunate luck to only go during peak times and people seem genuinely kind. I'm excited to meet my goals this year! I'm super excited to have a gym home. NGL I'm also excited that there's donuts in the same strip mall.

The gym is not crowded, in fact there were only a couple other people working out during our stay. There is no wait for equipment. There were plenty of wipes to clean equipment after use. I didn't see lockable lickers but was able to use cubbies provided. There are also several coat racks. Motivational information is posted near the front entrance. They also offer healthy frozen meals for about $10 in a case near the front door. I did not try them. There are water refill stations so bring your water bottle. We called about classes, which they advertise on their web site, but they require a year commitment of $89/week which adds up to almost $10000/couple for the year. Wow, that's pretty pricy for retirees. I wish they offered something affordable. There is plenty of parking in their strip mall. Easy in and out. All in all, good location for a quick workout.

The owner, Josh, is also extremely nice with a lot of ideas to challenge you. When you join survival gym you can join in how your schedule fits in and the workout is defined for you. I totally recommend survival fitness if you can accommodate the schedule

Essentially you pair off at the beginning and there is a list of exercises/stations. So while you do a 10 set dead lift for example, the partner may be doing push-ups. Then after a few reps you go to next Station. Josh, the owner, helped walk me through the exercises since I wasn't familiar, but I could see him also encouraging/helping others. It was great to see a wide range of body types/ages. I was pretty sore afterwards, but it was a good type of sore that told me I did a good job. They're currently running a special where you can try the first class for free then buy a 10 pack for $100, which expires after 6 months. I highly recommend! I think it's cheaper/more effective/encouraging than going to a personal trainer.

Overall, I enjoyed the pace of the class, though I wish there had been just a few more stretches, or that some weren't held for so long. The space is nice, but I think for this class they could close the blinds, as it's pretty bright. I liked the instructor and would take her class again. I'll be returning soon for Reformer Pilates. So, when I heard that Blossom Yoga + Pilates was opening a new studio in Westfield, I signed up for a class. They also have studios in Carmel and Zionsville. First, the space is beautiful! Lots of windows that let in natural light, with blond wooden floors, plants at the head of the room (including a lovely monstera), and all-gray props. It's not necessary that the blocks, straps and bolsters all color-coordinate, but I'm also not mad about it when they do. My yoga class was with Kristen, the owner of the studio. She was wonderful. I love when an instructor focuses on proper alignment, and gives tips for arranging your body, like "shift your pubic bone toward your belly." That's one of the ones I remembered, because she said it when we were in plank, and I felt like it really helped me stack everything properly. The class I took was flowy and gentle, for the most part. But there were a few times where my heart rate went up. Then, of course, there was a long savasana, which is my favorite part, always. One of my favorite yoga instructors, Gretchen, is teaching at Blossom in Westfield! So, if you're looking for an amazing yoga teacher, you should definitely take one of her classes. She has been transformative to my practice, and I look forward to taking one of her classes here in the future. Blossom Yoga + Pilates also offers pilates classes -- both mat pilates and reformer. Reformer classes are a separate fee, but if you purchase a yoga package, you get to take mat pilates, too. That's quite a deal!
