They would not honor their guarantee because they said there was wear on the soles. That is what happens when you walk in shoes, the soles wear down. Just neighborhood dog walking nothing extreme. They tried to blame me for buying the wrong but I had them fitted at that store and bought from that store less than year ago. I am completely disillusioned with REI as they do not honor their own guarantee.

Blake was very helpful and brought us the shoes that Tamera said they didn't have! What are the odds! Lol!!! When another customer asked what her problem was we agreed she was little nasty! Dan did talk to us, telling us he's short staffed. Sadly, the staff he had "helping" customers don't have a common decency with customer service skills! Tamera should definitely be working at an Amazon warehouse where she doesn't have to approach customers. I've been to multiple Dicks sporting goods, by far the worst experience I've ever encountered!!

Although the quantity is limited somewhat compared to the bigger Footlockers, you could always order a shoe from another nearby Footlocker or you always have the option of having the sales associate calling another store and holding a pair of shoes for you as well. Overall Experience: The overall experience at this store is average. The sales reps are fine depending on who you get. Sometimes I find that some of the sales reps are just constantly chit chatting with other customers/friends of theirs when other customers are waiting for a sales rep for assistance. All in all this Footlocker is good to get in and get out if you know what you want. After I healed, I started to run again and after a few more runs, I pulled the other calf muscle. I started to do research to determine if it is the shoe that is causing the issues. After my research, it certainly can be the shoe. So I decided to go to Road Runner Sports to see what they would recommend. I didn't mention that I did some research on my own but I did let them know I had calf issues. When I first walked in, I was greeted by the staff and they asked me if they can be of any assistance. I let them know that I was interested in getting new running shoes. They let me know about the process where they would film the way my feet hit the ground to see impact. My walk is filmed while I take a stroll on a treadmill. After, it is reviewed by them and they show me how my feet hit the ground. I then was custom fitted with shoe inserts - optional to buy. Then we looked at some shoe recommendations. I selected a couple pairs to try on. I selected a pair and decided to keep the inserts. The good news is that the inserts were FSA Eligible. I was offered a Road Runner Membership for $19.99 for the first year and $49.99 after the first year. The membership pretty much paid for itself and I would get 10% off purchases all year for me and my family. I've had a few walks and a couple runs and these shoes are really comfy. By the way, the shoe recommendation aligned with my online research.
