I was pleasantly surprised when I found a beautiful all leather belt in my size-- it was a fashion miracle! I got the last small at $15 and you definitely can't beat that price. I think it's made by Halogen which is a pretty sturdy and classic brand. Any who, I made it out with a fabulous purchase and so very pleased about that and it was also nice to see friendly faces when being checkout at the registers. They're specifically lower quality items that were manufactured to go directly to the outlet at a higher price than what they're worth, then a tag is added to show you the "original price" so you feel like you're getting a deal. I needed a different size in an item that was gifted to me through Loft online. My size wasn't available online, so I started to process a return on the Loft web site. There was no option to receive a store credit, which would have been perfect since this was gift. Then, they wanted to take a $10 return fee from my gift-giver's credit card if I returned the item by mail, but no fee if I returned it in store. This is non-sense, especially since the nearest Loft store to me is 45 miles away and in a place that I never go to or need to visit. Frustrated, but out of principle, I made the hour plus drive to the store for the free return. My experience trying to return this $35 item grew from bad to worse dealing with the Loft clerk. Sparing details here about my drama with her, I didn't have time to shop for something else and I just wanted a store credit to use later online. She ultimately handed me the store credit on a piece of paper (Loft no longer has cards apparently) and THEN told me that it was only good in-store and not online. This, after I just told her my town's store closed 10 years ago and I had to drive 45 miles to get here. I asked her to cancel the store credit and refund my gift-giver's card in full. I had to argue with her to do that for me too! Loft management, this is bad customer service and damages your brand. Caitlin prides herself on carrying primarily products that were designed by dancers which is awesome! I think she focuses on mainly Gaynor Minden and Fuzi brands for pointe shoes however, she carrys a nice variety of sizes so she had all the options I needed. I also noticed she had some lovely Ainsliewear leotards too (as well as a variety of others) which were beautiful and unique. Recently, I noticed a weird…read morestore-wide odor but nonetheless bought a shirt I was crazy about...until I tried it on at home and discovered the "stank" was IN the shirt, triggering my asthma badly, and giving me a rash. Same as another Yelp poster, I tried everything I could think of to get the smell out--soaking, vinegar, Borax, even dish soap--and washed it over and over but nothing worked. I had to get rid of the shirt. Then the other day I bought underwear there, and had exactly the same reaction. I finally realized this chemical smell is IN EVERYTHING in the store. Pathetic that I won't be able to shop there anymore.

I like the Promenade because they have staple stores that everyone's familiar with such as Sephora, Express, Athleta, LuLulemon, Banana Republic and Anthropology just to name a few. These are the stores I shop at the most so for me and others who like these stores, it's a major win but it might not be for others. There has been in the last year some major shifts in store that seemed to go downhill because of covid-demic and they've been replaced and some are currently being replaced. So far Colombia has opened up shop here about 2 months ago and next to open up shop is a Nike store-- which should be super exciting. This little outdoor mall also has some cool eateries such as Panera for casual dining. If you wanna go a little fancier, there's a PF Changs and Ted's Montana Grill. I've tried both eateries and they are fine. So far it's been great shopping here and I sometimes I find some great things.
