**WARNING** Monitor Your Purchas History!!! I give this…read morewarning, but even if your purchase history is not correct, they won't fix it unless you report to their customer service desk with information from their website and stand in front of them. I recently purchased a firearm from the Colorado Springs Scheels. While waiting for the Colorado Democrat's "cool down" period to pass, I decided I would register for a Scheels online account to track my purchases. After creating an account, I noticed it actually had all my purchase history, likely from using the same email for digital receipts on previous purchases. While looking at my purchase history, I noticed the firearm I purchased, but then noticed a second firearm purchased 1 minute later... Yet, I only purchased one firearm. The website shows receipts for all the purchases. The receipt for the firearm I purchased shows "Customer: Default Scheels" in place of my name. Yet the receipt for the firearm I DID NOT PURCHASE shows "Customer: James Parker" and shows it being purchased using two separate cards (a VISA and a MasterCard) - and using my name on the receipt. Additionally, I confirmed they offer a 5% discount for miliary veterans. I showed my veteran ID and then paid the total. Looking at my receipt, the veteran discount was not applied to my purchase... Yet, when I look at "my" other receipt, for the firearm I DID NOT PURCHASE, it shows Scheels applied the veteran discount to this mysterious second firearm sale using my name and account information and then applying a "Tax Exempt" ID number that I have never seen once in my life. I am not sure if who's information they used for the background check, they say I don't need a new background check to purchase another weapon as long as it's within 30 days... If this is malicious, it would make sense this next sale happened one minute later before a legitimate customer came to the counter. I'm not sure who they will be handing this other, paid for, firearm to - I just hope and pray it's not someone with bad intentions. When I called the store and asked to speak to a manager, I was transferred to Kevin. Kevin says this is beyond anything he can handle and that he would require me to return to the store in person to provide them with proof and documentation. After explaining to Kevin that all my documentation is from THEIR website, he still insisted I will have to bring the documentation from their website to their store for them to address in person. I used to think firearms sales transactions require strict record accuracy... until I purchased a firearm at Scheels. But at a minimum, customers should be able to trust that their information is protected and handled appropriately -- especially when it involves firearm transactions. I would highly recommend purchasing your firearms from a ligament firearms dealer before trusting a retail zombie like Scheels for your firearms purchase.

Why then do you make your toilet paper so fucking hard to get it. Is there where you lose money? Worry customers and your employees will use too much? We barely got in the door and were immediately asked to leave. The employee who stopped us from entering was "Coach K" (he refused to give me his actual name). I politely explained to him that per Colorado State Law, service dogs in training were granted the same public access rights as working service dogs and I was happy to show the law on my phone. He indicated that he was aware of the law but that last week a group was in there training their dogs and one of the dogs was barking aggressively, so they decided to not allow dogs to train in the store. I informed him that that is in violation of the law and we were not training, we were testing. He said he didn't care and to take it up with corporate. After I clarified that he was really going to not allow us and our very well mannered dogs access to their store, he said we needed to leave and this was the last time he was going to say this, which implied to me that if I didn't leave he would call security or the police. Usually when we have these access issues it is due to ignorance of the law. Not just someone completely choosing to ignore the law because they feel like it. These were disabled veterans who worked hard with their dogs under the supervision of our non-profit service dog training organization for over a year and they deserve to be treated with respect and like any other customer when they are in public. I called the corporate office and filed a complaint about the store, so hopefully this issue gets resolved quickly as I plan to follow up.

One day, I may just put "autographed Brian Urlacher jersey" on a future wedding registry. I had a little time to kill while waiting for my car so I took a little stroll around the mall and found this place absolutely delightful. I happened to stumble on it by chance on my way because anything orange and navy blue always catches my eye. Unfortunately for me, the Broncos sport the same colors are my beloved Bears so it's usually a dead end. I did notice a Joaquim Noah way in the distance so my interest was definitely piqued and I was pleasantly surprised by the awesome selection of Bears t-shirts front and center. Unfortunately, most sporting goods places only have jerseys and hoodies in mens sizes, rarely womens sizes and never in childrens sizes. Boo. Mens shirts never looks quite right on me so I passed on the nice selection of t-shirts and focused on bumper stickers and knick knacks I did not yet have. I was helped out immediately and with the salespersons help, I narrowed down all the Bears items and concluded that I owned pretty much everything I saw-including the vinyl adhesive for the back window of my car. I did find a replacement keychain lanyard that I hadn't seen in awhile of course I snatched that up. My only gripe about this place is that they don't carry womens jersey sizes or kids sizes at least. Women and kids are football fans too!

Seeing a circular ad for shoes on sale, I wanted to buy a pair of hiking boots. Not seeing my size in the style I wanted, Kent came up to me just ask I was about to ask for help. I told him I couldn't find my size in the particular style I wanted and asked him if he knew if that brand was good. I had no idea I asked my question to the right person! As it turns out, hiking is a passion of Kent. He provided me with so much information about the soles of shoes, stitching, material, and protecting the material of the shoes. When I told him I was looking for a shoe that was a little more like a boot since I had a fear of snakes, Kent also had knowledge of that! When I finally settled on a choice of shoe based on Kent's recommendation, he also told me what to look for as I walked, explaining how much weight/pressure I put on what part of my foot as I walked. Kent wasn't a high-pressure sales person, but truly wanted to make sure I got a shoe I liked and would work for me. In fact, I walked out with two pairs of shoes! It's so difficult to find great customer service these days, let alone someone who genuinely enjoys his job and giving tailored advice. I can't thank Kent enough for the outstanding customer service he provided me.

We took our daughter to Fleet Feet in search of the perfect pair of running shoes, and the experience was nothing short of magical. They didn't just slap a random sneaker on her foot and call it a day--oh no. They performed a foot evaluation, which honestly felt like a high-tech wizardry session, scanning, measuring, and analyzing to determine what shoes would give her the best fit. If only they had this level of precision for all teenage life decisions! The staff was incredibly patient, giving her several options and letting her take her time to decide. Not once did we feel rushed, pressured, or given the dreaded "hurry up and choose" vibe. It was like a personal shopping experience but for feet--which, let's be honest, don't get nearly enough love. Best of all? The price for both the service and the shoes was shockingly reasonable. We half expected to pay a royal ransom for the VIP treatment, but nope--just great shoes at a great value. She left with the perfect pair, and by that afternoon, she was already out running (willingly, no bribery required!). Fleet Feet, you've gained lifelong fans. Now, if you could just help us get her to run toward household chores with the same enthusiasm...
