Carved Elephant From one of the vendors- Skye turtle designs

I have mostly gone on Saturdays or evenings when there is usually not much going on. Still I like it here. Typically at the times I have gone, many of the farm vendors who sell produce have gone for the day. There are quite a few unique vendors. I have purchased a terrarium, a hand carved elephant pendant and attended a cooking demo here. You can find folks here selling anything from homemade soaps to healthy snacks to pet treats to hand-made jewelry. You can also still purchase non-perishable food items (e.g. nuts/sauces/dairy, etc.) at some of the market stations even after the produce vendors have gone. There are a few tables/benches and even a little hot beverage shop. Parking can be the devil depending on day/time of day because the market is located within a plaza of various other businesses. The market itself is not very big inside, but they have maximized the space so that there are quite a few vendors to check out, especially on a busy-day I imagine.

#MovingSoon We hang out here often with friends and our dogs because it's a great place to have a latte or cappuccino and shoot the breeze inside at the picnic tables or outside under the cool shade of the trees. We plan our weeks and futures here - I'm convinced the java is magical and the wooden tables are designed to encourage life planning because that's what we do! If you see us there (husky and/or black lab) come on over and say hello just tell the future Nancy or Brian that the past virtual Nancy sent you. We will plan our perfect future lives together~ MOVING ALERT** The cafe and stores are moving to just across the parking lot near the wine store during the renovations and so that's good news for us regulars.

Take Two! There is a running joke with my friends, sometimes when my husband comes along he will graciously pay for lunch, cocktails or movies, so they jokingly refer to him as "the wallet", so today at Atherton, I brought the wallet with me!!! Yay!!!! I bought fresh pickled jalapenos, squash, onions, pimento cheese and potatoes!!! I didn't have to limit myself to one $5 item like last visit!!! If you like jalapenos, you have to buy some from the pickle man. The pimento cheese from Beverly's Gourmet Foods was super yummy too!!! I love this place. I might even have to change my current crush to Atherton Mill and Market. Sorry Jed Steele Lake County Cabernet. I take that back, I still have my crush on Jed.

This is the makes me feel at home. All of the vendors are so friendly and their products are of the highest quality. My fiance come here every Saturday and sometimes on Wensday because we love buying local. What makes Atherton great besides the products but the relationships that you have with the farmers. It feels good to know the color of the eyes of the person who raised the cow that tonight's dinner's beef cheeks, that came from Proffit Farms. I know that three boys watch over the chickens at the New Terra Farms, which is where I get my eggs and Yogurt. You can't beat the freshness of Harmony Gardens greens which is so sustainable they made a Green House that has a roof made from a refridgerater door. It is always a joy to buy Honey from Cloister! No matter how many times I go buy honey he always gives me samples! I've had them all and Tupalo is my favorite, It should be eaten while listening to some Van Morrison (10pts if you know why)! There are countless other stalls that are mainstays such as Crumbs Bakery, Pickleville, and that Roasted Nuts guy (I love a good Nut) You can even get amazing organic doggy treats from SkyeTurtle Designs, which by the way this market is DOG FRIENDLY. Someone could argue that is two expensive to buy locally, I say learn to BUDGET and BUY the BEST quality food you can. Atherton Mills Farmers Markets has really fair prices and the products are more than worth it.

Great place to shop local and support local businesses! Shopping center is easy to get in and out of, so stopping in for a quick bit or sip is easy and quick. They have great Coffee, bread, fish market, all kinds of yummy goodness!

Was in Charlotte for the first time for a wedding, and came here Saturday morning. Was really impressed with everything going on. If you live anywhere near this place (unlike I in Detroit) and haven't visited you need to get here. I honestly came here for the Pickley guy when hunting Yelp for things to do in town. He was not there that day (we came from 9:20 to 10am ish). There was a dog event going on, and everyone was so friendly. I really liked the who 'industrtial reuse' going on with the Mill next door, and just all around awesomness going on.

Review for Charlotte Premium Outlets…read more After relocating to Charlotte from the San Francisco Bay Area, I've kept my same philosophy about shopping: retail prices are optional if you're willing to do a little homework. I'm always looking for quality and value without paying unnecessary markups, and this outlet center has been a very reliable place to find both. I needed professional clothing, shoes, and luggage for work, so I made the drive out here--and I found everything I needed in one trip. One of my best purchases was a beautiful piece of luggage from Travelpro at a great price. Many of the stores also offer additional discounts if you sign up for their rewards programs, which can make the savings even better. Stores I frequent most: * Banana Republic * J.Crew * Ann Taylor * LOFT * Saks Off 5th * Old Navy (very large location with great basics) * Le Creuset -- always fun to browse, even if just window shopping If you have the time to look carefully and shop strategically, you can really find high-quality items here at excellent prices. My personal shopping strategy: * I avoid weekends whenever possible * I park near the Saks entrance, especially along the back row where it's easier to remember where you parked * I shop during off-hours for a calmer, more efficient experience Parking overall is plentiful, and the layout is easy to navigate once you learn your preferred entry point. Another thing I appreciate is the atmosphere. In my experience, the staff across stores have been knowledgeable, polite, and helpful. The overall vibe feels practical and approachable--people are there to shop, not to show off. There are also plenty of restaurants and fast-casual options nearby, so it can easily become a full outing. If you're planning a larger shopping trip, using store hold or will-call services can be a smart way to keep your purchases secure while you continue browsing. As someone who pays attention to value and cost of living, I've found shopping in North Carolina--and the Southeast in general--to be refreshingly affordable compared to the West Coast. That difference alone makes places like this especially worthwhile. Bottom line: Easy parking, strong value, and a wide selection of reliable brands. If you shop strategically and avoid peak times, this outlet center can be a very productive and enjoyable place to find quality items at fair prices.

However, I do like the variety of stores and in my case the only osh kosh and carter kids clothing stores in the area. There are multiple parking lots so finding a space has never been an issue. I came during thanksgiving/christmas and the decorations are very nice. They have signage for a variety of holiday events happening (pics of your dog and Santa etc). There is a food court, shake shack, and Starbucks. My kids love the small play structure. It is very small and probably only entertaining for kids 4 and younger. I appreciate the clean bathrooms inside the food court- especially the family restrooms which has a small toilet for kids.

There's bunches more of retail and restaurants. The tall parking deck worked well on a quiet midweek evening but during the holiday shopping season, it will be a real challenge.
