Professional work and clear communication!…read more I took my car to Precision Auto Works of LIC and had a very positive experience. The staff was knowledgeable and took the time to explain the repairs before starting the work. Everything was handled professionally, and the process felt transparent. Turnaround time was reasonable, though there was a slight delay, which is the only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five. Overall, this is a dependable shop that does quality work. Even though Avid clearly had many clients to support, he made me feel like I was the only one with his attention to my case. As an English teacher, I value communication skills above all else. Avid explained everything to me in the clearest terms, both aloud and in writing via text messages. He told me exactly what next steps I needed to take and what I could expect. At all times, it was clear that he was speaking from a wealth of experience, knowledge, and legitimate expertise in the world of auto repair. Everything he told me to expect played out exactly as he described, and I followed his instructions to a very agreeable resolution. At all times, the communication and support were stellar. As the situation resolved, I told Avid that he's now our guy. We will be bringing our new vehicle to Avid for any service needs from this point forward. Thank you, Avid, for everything you did to support us!
