I was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) in Sept 2021. Upon a recommendation from another Pink Warrior and my oncologist, I decided to try acupuncture during my chemo treatments. Since October of 2021, I have seen Yvonne a minimum of 2-3 times a week. I have handled chemo, surgery, and radiation better than anyone I know going through treatment and I attribute a large part of it to acupuncture. Yvonne and I worked out a plan to support my body, while the oncologist worked on killing cancer. Acupuncture and meditation have been essential parts of my healing. I would recommend Yvonne to anyone for any issue you are experiencing. I see Dr. Bianca and I will just say that everything is top notch. Not only was my pain addressed, my blood glucose level started coming down naturally. I was on 3 medications and insulin. A couple of days after my second session, my glucose monitor went off in the middle of the night. Normally this happens when I have eaten something I shouldn't have and it was spiking. But, no. It was too low! Not believing it, I check with my finger prick monitor and it corroborated the reading. I was shocked. I have since stop one of my medications, cut one in half, and cut my insulin in half. I am very excited to continue treatment to see how much I will be able to come off of. Oh, and yes, my Fibromyalgia is doing better but I am more excited about the improvements in my diabetes.
