This place is fantastic! What a gem! My husband has been praying for a brewing supply shop like this-tons of supplies, tons of knowledge. Whatever your skill level- Eric can help you. He has everything to brew everything. We brew beer, but he has wine stuff too. The fact that you even punched beer brewing supplies into Yelp means you need to come here. We made a new friend today and we have a new destination... and the possibilities of the kind of beer we can make at home just cracked wide open!! read more

Called this place and they were closed due to the weather. A man named Eric answered and said they were closed. He still continued to ask what he could do to help me. After discussing my problem, he offered to come over to show me what needed to be done and brought the parts i needed. Eric was an awesome person and knows what he is talking about. I would recommend his advice to anyone that is seeking help. read more

Orme Hardware Eureka

A must stop for anyone who can appreciate the timeless atmosphere of a small town hardware store…read more With towering shelves installed in the 1890's and creaking wood floors, three floors of the most difficult to find items and the occasional impossible find, Eureka is a must stop. Once, I broke a door lock in our Victorian era home. I went to Eureka figuring I could find something that had the same footprint to match up so the difference in wood colour wouldn't be so noticeable. Bob, then the owner, took me to the third floor and dusted off an old display. He produced an exact duplicate, New old stock, of the lock. He then sold it to me for the price on the 1890's era price sticker.

I ask the worker how much it was and he said 55. I don't have enough money so I show it to my grandpa. Grandpa goes and gets his truck but I walk back into The store, I ask if the worker could hold the jacket back for me and he says he could to layaway. I give him my number and not even 1 minute after leaving the store he calls me back. He said "I have good news on the jacket Madi" I said "what is it?" He proceeded to tell me the woman behind me put 20 dollars on my jacket to hold it there, I began to cry because I knew it was a gift from someone above signaling me I'm moving in the right place towards Jesus. The man also told me that Put 5 dollars towards it so now I only have to pay 30 dollars for the jacket. I love people so much. My grandpa got it for me he's sneaky. He says u left something in the truck come get it. He starts laughing. My goodness he gave me the biggest kiss on my head and he said u wanted it u got it.
