They told me that I could bring the collar in for them to determine if they could do the job. I was helped immediately and they recommended that I go to Joann Fabric to purchase rivets for the dog tag. They were able to assist on the spot without an appointment, and they were so careful in the placement of the tag, as not to cause any discomfort to my dog while he's wearing it. This was a fantastic experience and I'll be sure to return in the future for any other tailoring and shoe repair needs!

I also couldn't communicate with the gentleman because his English is very poor. I picked up today and I wish I never dropped off. I'm unsure of the state of the dress, nothing was glaringly obvious. The cape was dirty yet I dropped it off brand new still in the original packaging. I pointed it out but again, could not communicate with the gentleman. The uniform is what I am most disappointed about, as the jacket had hair all over it and the white shirt has black fibers all over it. When I pointed it out, he gave me a $10 discount. I dropped a few example photos. This is completely unacceptable, especially for the price I paid. Not sure if there's anything to do, as I am unable to communicate with the only person who seems to work there. Very sad Update Tried on my wedding dress and it's also dirty on the bottom. I've used Carney Cleaners for a number of months and had the privilege of working with a very nice Asian/Korean woman. I apologize for not being able to be specific. I've hand delivered my clothes to her every time and in turn picked up exactly what I dropped off. However, within the past few months she has not been there, and I've been forced to deal with an Asian/Korean man whose English is less acceptable. A little over a month ago, I picked up my dry cleaning, only to go home and realize that my shorts were not included. Being that I only live a mile away, I went back, brought this to the man's attention, and gave him an opportunity to locate the items. After I left, he called me approximately an hour later after having found them. Great! However, this should have been a sign. A few weeks later I picked up another set of clothing; however, when I went home I learned there were three shirts missing. My next available time to visit, which was the follow week, I went back and brought this to his attention. Deja vu. However, THIS time he arrogantly insisted that I picked up the clothes. I told him that he was mistaken and explained exactly what was missing. He looked around briefly and continued to utter, "You pick up, you pick up!" He showed me white slip with nothing on it but a total. I told him that I was going to go home and check one more time, which I did. I checked my closet and laundry room; however, found nothing, which I anticipated. I found pictures of the shirts online, printed them out for him, and went back. Upon my return, he grew more frustrated and repeatedly yelled, "You pick up, you pick up!" The end result is that I am now out of 3 shirts for $275 because he misplaced my clothing, AGAIN. First time shame on you, second time, shame on me. I encourage everyone to use a more accurate and humble dry cleaning service.

I was extremely disappointed with the alterations I received from Betty Brite Cleaners. I brought…read morein my suit for hemming the pants and jacket sleeves, as well as taking in the jacket side seams. They claimed to offer professional and expert alterations, but I do not feel their work met those standards. The sleeve cuffs ended up wiggly and unevenly stitched. It looked like they were done by an amateur who did not care about the quality of their work and went too fast with the sewing machine. The jacket sleeve length did not match my expectations either. I had clearly explained that I wanted the sleeves to show half an inch of my shirt cuffs, but they were still too long and covered most of them. The tailor also did not seem to understand how a men's suit should fit. I expect a business that offers "expert" alterations, to be able to mark up the article(s) of clothing in accordance with conventional fitting practices that reflect what should be a true to measure service. Her ignorance was not only evident in regard to the jacket sleeve length but also in the fit around chest/stomach. The jacket had never been taken in before, meaning it was as big as possible to accommodate as many shapes of men as possible. It was therefore very boxy as I wore it waiting for the "tailor" to mark it up for adjustments. After correcting her regarding the proper length of the jacket sleeves I pointed out that it should be taken in. She said it "looked good" which left me uneasy. I thought I should be able to trust in the presumed expertise of the person I was paying; but her obvious ignorance/carelessness should have prompted me to leave and take my business elsewhere. I left with an uneasy feeling. At home I spoke with my wife and determined that I was correct in not wanting my suit to fit like a refrigerator box and that the side seams had to be taken in such that the jacket formed a more hourglass like shape. This was at least done, though it should have been taken in more. That is also my responsibility though since it was clear I possessed more knowledge of how a suit jacket should fit than she did, and I therefore should have spent more time ensuring that the jacket was marked up properly. I felt like I wasted my money and time at Betty Brite Cleaners. They are misrepresenting their services with their claims of offering professional and expert alterations. These claims are posted prominently around the business, but they grossly embellish the limited skills of their seamstress. Perhaps, I should have known to not take these claims seriously; but such assertions of not just competence but "expert" skill should not require a disclaimer. I would not recommend this place to anyone who cares about their appearance and wants a well-fitting suit.
