But, cold weather means sometimes having to fight the intimidation and basic idea that I don't know much about gym equipment and get in there for some excercise! BodyPlex is my first gym membership, and although I've not tried everything, I'm really enjoying it! The classes are wonderful...a great way to dive in even if you don't know what you're doing. The teachers have been super helpful and encouraging. The seem knowledgable and patient, and are good not to embarrass anyone if they need to make a suggestion. BodyPlex is centrally located in Cartersville which is perfect for swinging by on the way home. It seems clean to me, although I do take my own workout mat to the classes. (The gym mats really stink!) The atmosphere is good, and people really seem to focus on their own workout rather than watching others. Just something to think about: A friend of mine just changed her membership from BodyPlex to Gold's because it is closer to her house. But, she prefers BodyPlex and may switch her membership back.

At…read moretimes, the people who workout together is a drag as they monopolize the equipment, so as long as you can pivot and go with an alternate plan it is good. The couples that are doing mushy face in between their work out , annoying but again pivot and start in a different place or another plan. The place is clean all around, staff is friendly and helpful. Time of day to workout is crucial to avoid the above, which most of the time I can. Lots of choice of machines, free weights, tanning beds and massage beds with black card.

On top of using the gym facilities here I get one on one sessions here for strength building, and there are even classes administered by the staff. --It's important to know membership cancellation with Anytime Fitness the corporation (ABC Financial Services is their billing agent) is challenging and convoluted, and is lousy with hidden fees. Be aware of that before signing up, and if you want a short term thing, maybe consider other avenues.-- With that out of the way (I've had my membership for around a decade now and still love it, I even moved across the country with it!!), you would be shocked to see the reach of Anytime Fitness though when contrasted with other national gyms (I've been able to use my membership at gyms in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Amsterdam -- it's international babey!!!) so if you're going abroad, Anytime is an absolute boon! No need to completely forgo your routine just because you're travelling!

All equipment is well maintained & entire gym is incredibly clean. No contracts. Established in 1986. No better place to get away from the world for an hour or two. Stack's Gym is a second home to myself & so many other people.

The gym is really well kept / clean too. I felt like my space was really respected even though I was one of the only women in there at the time. I am a little too small to use a few of the machines but I still got an amazing training session in using free weights and alternate training methods/ other equipment to hit some of the muscles I needed to. I'll definitely be back.
