Incredibly helpful and friendly proprietor…read more He helped me choose the best and sensibly priced instruments for my girls and gave me lots of practical tips on the care of the guitars. When I returned to have some strings changed over a few days later he was again very helpful. I also noticed how he would readily offer to help any person who came by his shop with instrument related queries, no matter how random the issue. I seldom if ever write reviews but on this occasion I wanted to share my positive and heartening experiences as a customer at this lovely establishment.
Before buying my product I was told 'You can rely on us. We will give you a good service. Anything…read morethat goes wrong just give us a call and we'll fix it no problem' I was sold a display product full price on condition I will recieve a new one when it came in. A couple of months later when I called I was told that they had been trying to contact me. Turns out they were calling one of the numbers I gave them without bothering to try the other numbers. They then told me that so much time had elapsed they were not going to give me a new one. We told them there was a problem with the product. Some of the screws had come loose and scraped the coating. They told me they would come and check. Of course they said it was nothing to do with them and it was our fault. We have been trying for the last 2 months to contact them to honour their agreement that 'Anything that goes wrong we will fix'. I was told repeatedly that someone will call back - noone did. Now they have told us they cant do anything but they will talk to casio and get back to us within a week. Ha like thats going to happen. I've been taken for a ride - anyone out there wanting the same experience please make sure to use thier pathetic 'service'.
lots of stock over 2 floors including drums and books, plus teachers and a rehearsal space. Good…read morefacility for local musicians. Prices about the same as internet from what I can tell. They do lots of guitar repairs too, staff know their stuff. Also free parking!
This is Bedford's only actual music shop - the only problem being that not many people realise that…read moreit's there! It does take a good 10 minute walk away from the shopping centre to find it and if you didn't know Bedford I doubt you would ever be able to find it! They stock a good range of things in this shop although the majority are guitars. They also teach instruments in the studios above. Next door (linked inside the shop) there is a repair studio, headphone and disco shop. As there are no other music shops in Bedford, prices aren't very competitive. If you are interested in music and live in Bedford, going to this shop is a must!
