I first experienced water leaking into my basement in the Spring of 2021. We hired RCC to perform…read morewaterproofing of our home after our plumbing and foundation was inspected with no leaks or cracks found. At the time, Ramy Morcos from RCC (a Consultant at the company as per their website) was assigned to our case. Given the significant amount of water coming into our home, we asked that he refer a contractor to help with drying and demolition to avoid mould formation, to which he said he had contacts for this. Despite numerous phone calls emails, voicemails, etc, he failed to provide a crew for this. Ultimately after months of trying to contact him, I sought out a third party who assessed the damage and deemed that mould had formed throughout the entire basement, and that the entire basement would need to be demolished and treated for mould. We then had our basement repaired. This entire ordeal cost us in excess of $15,000. Fast forward, even after the waterproofing has been done, we have continued to have water coming into the home. Ramy and his team at RCC initially responded, but have ignored our phone calls and have gone so far as to say that the wet materials (laminate, drywall, baseboards) don't need to be removed. Again I had a third party contractor come in who removed the laminate and found rotting laminate and mould (smells extremely foul), which again needs to be treated before this area of our home can be habitable again. Ramy and RCC do not care about their customers. It is within their wheelhouse to deal with interior damage related to water (they recently acquired a company, Rainbow Restoration), and they have decided to not take on any responsibility. They are comfortable with homeowners conferring public health risks by way of mould exposure if it means that they don't need to get involved. I am extremely concerned about how they conduct their business and urge you to stay away from RCC.

They removed and replaced all the old insulation, replaced the stone to match perfectly, and filled the cracks between the bricks. The workmanship is top-notch, and they went above and beyond to ensure everything was completed to a high standard. I look forward to having them back to do additional work that needs to be done and have recommended them to my friends and family. I highly recommend R&B Masonry to anyone looking for reliable and quality masonry work. Thank You!!

They charged over price to our contractor (when he went to place order) and did not honor the price given to us. Very poor customer service. Person on the phone Haseeb was very rude and he did not make any effort to explain the reason other than "prices are going up every day". We ended up paying significantly high as out contractor already paid for the tiles. Refrain from going to this store and good luck dealing with this Haseeb guy.

Today I picked up two different types of artificial grass from Rymar (Oakville Ontario). I had done…read moresome research on different types of artificial grass and suppliers in the GTA over the past month. I have a relatively small area to cover for a putting green(11 x 10 square feet). I spoke to Eric and provided him my details and he told me he had some remnants that would be perfect for the curtain, fringe and putting area. I told him that it would be an hour before I got there and he said that wouldn't be an issue given their Saturday hours. I got there and looked at the different grades of grass in their display area and he recommended two different types. We then went into the warehouse and looked at the different remnant rolls. After a bit of time and informed discussion, we decided on the rolls needed. We had to fold one of the rolls into the backseat of my car. No problem. The smaller roll went into the trunk. I bought the right amount of infill for the project too. He recommended a specific type of knife/blades for the DIY. Eric also told me that if there were any additional questions to be answered, I could call for some help. I can't tell you how pleased I was leaving Rymar knowing that I was treated so well. Thank you to him and Rymar.

My neighbour checked out pricing from several local roofing companies. We live in a Burlington…read moreTownhouse row and my end unit along with my neighbolur's (attached), needed new roofing. They were previously done in 2001. Larry of Halco attended and gave us the best written quote. It was not the cheapest, but I must say, the best explained. He answered questions and explained what would be done, material to be used and pricing for any new plywood sheets that may need to be replaced. I then saw that they were replacing to roofs on two single family dwellings on a nearby street. I stopped by and watched them work. I was impressed with what they were doing and how they were doing it. When they attended to do ours, they were quick, no loud radio playing and clean-up was excellent. We were both very satisfied with the final finish. We both highly recommend Halco. Remember, not the cheapest, but listen carefully to the quote and explanations of others and I think you'll be impressed. Plus it has a written warranty which is transferable.

We received 4 quotes from different roofers and selected Halco. They were not the lowest quote, but they were not the highest quote either. We chose Halco based on the initial interview, Larry answered all of our questions thoroughly and explained fully what the crew would do. We also had two excellent references. They started on the day they promised and were finished on time, and they did not a have a boom box radio blaring all day as our neighbours did who hired another company. The shingles looked good and are warranted for 50 years. Money was not not required until job was completed. Cleanup was done well, no papers, torn shingles or nails anywhere and no damage to our gardens. We would highly recommend Halco roofing.
