The restaurant we originally picked had a 20 minute wait... and with two hangry toddlers, we crossed the street and saw a restaurant sign on top of a neat looking bar. It is actually next to a bar as well, so we eyeing sure it was for the kids. I stood outside and the clock struck 2pm, and a nice gentleman opened the velvet rope for us and said "come in, we were open." Not knowing if this was for the kids or not, we walked in and saw one of the most interesting interiors I have seen in awhile. It was fun and different. The manager made it fun as well as he has a great attitude and happy to help in terms of recommendations. The menu itself is big and you will need some help. The first thing was needing to get food to two little hangry ones, so we asked for noodles, which he got on immediately, getting in a pancit order. That came out first and my wife and I took a few extended moments as the menu is extensive. I ordered the chicken and waffle with bang bang shrimp and my wife had the steak with rice and onions. Both dishes were flavorful and definitely enjoyable. I could definitely go back in again if I ever head back or East, but maybe taking the Long Island railroad would be better since it is across the street from the train station. Definitely stop in for a drink and enjoy the cool little toys and designs around the restaurant. This restaurant definitely provides variety of you want to try something new!

Lots of parking, unique decor, with a friendly staff. We ordered a few Filipino dishes like sisig, chicken inasal, fried lumpia, and regular stuff like fried mushrooms and disco fries. Everything was wonderful and tasted great. The new place definitely has growing pains, sometimes apps came out with the entrees, silverware and plates came after the courses, took a while for our bill to come, but these are little things that will be taken care of once they have a proper waitstaff. We're definitely going to be back.

There are two areas, one is designed for the younger children, and the other area for older kids, but most children over 4-5 should be able to play in either area. There are two drawbacks to this playground. 1) there are sometime porta potties available, but the park restrooms are not too close, and locked for the most part. and 2) there is no fence around the area, so you need to pay attention to make sure your kids don't wander. More dogs' stuff than cats, but I found things for my cats and the cat lady, me! The owners, Barbara and Ron, are such a warm couple. I interacted with Anthony, who helped me pick out some cat-like items for myself and my cats. Cats' stuff are located upstairs. I like this place. I had a chance to meet some guests who happened to be there and spoke with them. The owners have a cute, energetic dog that greets people at the entrance too. This place is so inviting. I would come back if I'm in the area. Of course, I got something for myself and my cats! The great store is owned by great people.

My nephew is autistic and they were really patient with him which I appreciated. The reason for the 4 star review is the fact that it was expensive for three of us and not a lot of exhibits. It was hands one which I loved but the main reason we went there was for the drones and they were broken when we got there. I am hoping to go back when the drones are available but for the price, not sure yet. The kids had a really nice time though.

Being on top of the bowling alley, this give kids and family extra time together (or separate if the kids go play by themselves while the parents bowl, which seems to be the case here). There are a great deal of inflatable bounce houses and one giant obstacle course, a ropes tower with a slide, rock wall, some arcade games, and a few birthday party rooms. For two kids to play for 1 1/2 hours was $24 total. Seemed like a pretty good deal considering there's no other place quite like this and it keeps the kids active and happy. It is dingy and there are quite a few broken arcade games that they just decide that they're never going to fix (I've been here a few times). You pay 25-50 cents per game or a dollar to play air hockey, basketball, or a motorcycle game. There are no tickets so you're really only playing to have fun, not win prizes. There is a coin machine (it's slow) to give you quarters for the games. During my most recent visit, the basketball machine broke on us so that was interesting. Other than the rinky dink "arcade" (which is kind of just scattered around the bounce houses), this is a fun place with plenty of room for the kids to run around.

To save yourself from a 3.5% surcharge if you use credit, you'll want to pay in cash. Breakeven for my membership was about 3 visits and we did just that for the 4 days we were in Riverhead. My kids loved it so much that they are already asking to go back. The aquarium is well kept and the sharks are HUGE!! They are definitely well fed. The aquarium is Atlantis themed and you can tell a lot of time, money, and detail went into the making of this aquarium. The aquarium is privately owned and you do see sponsorship (advertisement) from private companies. I am comparing my experience with the NY aquarium in Brooklyn, which I have visited countless times. The Long Island Aquarium blows the NY aquarium away in every way possible. It's new, ventilation indoors is amazing, the sea lion show has shade, the penguins can be seen up close, there's an inexpensive option to snorkel, theres a big tree house, etc. I would totally recommend coming here with your family. If you come on weekdays, there might be a lot of school kids, and if you want to avoid that, you probably should should come around 1 or 2pm. Highly recommend this aquarium.

The Long Island Aquarium in Riverhead, NY is possibly the best aquarium I have ever visited. And…read moreI've been to a lot, especially when my Grandson was younger. The experience is phenomenal, whether you're young or older. There are interactive experiences, dives, tours, touch experiences and much, much more. My favorite is the penguin exhibition. The clear sides and floor is raised high enough for a child to go under. One comes to a rounded raised portion of the floor where the child can stand completely up and feels as if it's in the midst of the penguins. The penguins are very gregarious. When my Grandson looked at the side of the exhibit they all came over to greet him. As he moved, they moved to follow him. What fun! Don't miss the sea lion show, large living coral exhibit, shark tank and butterflies, bugs and bees garden. This year long attraction is a "must do" if you're in Long Island, especially if you have a child in tow.
